Either way I’m just bored of having so few weapons. IMO HoT should have an exception for Thief and add non spec weapons to them. They feel unfinished since launch.
Sooooooooooooooooo dragged out. This is more waiting than the time I waited for Star Ocean 3 to stop being delayed. We might actually have The Last Guardian release before we have Thief spec news.

I guess it woulda been nicer to have sword now that I think of it. Nomatter how good the Warhorn is, Scepter and Dagger skills are still boring to me. Maybe we’ll get lucky and Dual Warhorn or 2Hand Warhorns. XD Honestly I still dislike Elementalist even though it was my 2nd Favorite in GW1 so it could really use some major core mechanic changes for me.

Id say the necro one comes close to the being ok like the warriors, i mean it does daze/interrupt apart from that, not much more.
Until you play necro for ages you really dont feel how valuable warhorn #5 is.

I love my SAB Warhorn on my Dagger/Warhorn Necro.
Lotta weapons need more love in this game and Warhorn is one~ so few classes have it, just like SB, Mace, Hammer, Torch and so on~ they seem to be addressing those weapons with some of these specs… Now if only they could push the meowvelope further by making offhands mainhands. Still want my mainhand Torch Thief and Dual Focus Warrior. ;s

Also Potent Poison is UP after pre-release nerf. ;< Executioner too good in comparison. Pretty much only issues I have with it currently. Not sure how it would suck.

Whoever designed that should have his hands smashed into a fine paste as a warning to the next dev who thinks a JP should ever be that long. My hands were cramping up watching that.
U could always do it on an alt and log off when u need a break. or Mesmer portal and cheat.
I thought it was fun and went through on my Guardian alt w/o failing but took a 30min break when I was like 75% through. Not liek standing there would knock me off.

Rinith’s reply is probably the closest description to the reality as of today where we stand with SAB. We’ve made a number of changes to the physics engine as a result of places like Silverwastes, Dry Top, and the expac that means we need to go back and re-work SAB to use all the new movement systems. It also needs a pretty solid rewards overhaul, and I know Josh would love to make some changes to world 2 before it returns.
We’re all focused on expansion – both the announced details, and the un-announced details and simply can’t peel anyone off a team to work on it right now without it effecting expac. Well, at least we got a good official response on it. SAB Tribulation Mode remains one of the most challenging and awesome experiences I had in a video game, especially for an MMO~ My only real complaint was how long the final world was with being unable to save~ so I ended up spending around 8 hours scurrying through it without a guide of any sort in existence yet and sometimes afking~ major chunk of time was spent trying to get through the ice room with all the spikes and wind.
I also died to thousands of excessive Spike Traps in W2Z2 to the point of fearing random spikes outside of SAB… I still loved it overall and love my Storm Wizard weapons which feels more of an accomplishment than the Incinerator. The SB is far superior to the Legendary Shortbow and the Pistol skin will be unrivaled forever unless the new Legendary one is an intensely epic pew pew laser. Nothing else pews so how could it come close to it?
I never felt the need to ask for a Refund on Infinite Coin. I don’t blame them for prioritizing the Xpan over it just hopefully it has some rewarding and challenging experiences to come close to SAB. :P
I’m curious though of what exactly happened to the physics engine to cause SAB trouble? :o

I can’t play my way, otherwise my Thief would have a main-hand Torch and deflect attacks with a Parrying Dagger off-hand instead of using stealth and riposte with a fireball through the torso like Scorpion’s new fatality.
I’m actually in LA more often than before. I was usually always in the Grove unless I needed MF. (Used to spend most of my idle time in Caledon till they molested the Trader.) Grove still the MLG of convenience though since the TP, Bank and Crafting areas are all next to eachother and we even get bonus Zelda music.

My D/D build I was using before patch seems fine/stronger. I really hate the Shadow Embrace nerf though. I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with SE because it was our only good condi remover, but I hated it cuz there were no other good options for different builds so I’d get bored. Now everything is bad. I also miss my long poison duration.
Any other decent build I’d use for fun with P/P and S/D is pretty bad, which makes D/D stronger by process of elimination. ;/
My healing seems to suck really bad without SA healing power, but I’m not sure if I should bother addressing it as Anet seems to want us to be 100% offense.

After playing with it for the last few days, it is really kitten irritating not being able to remove imobolize and blind mostly, but also things like fear.

I don’t care how much you liked it, the fact still stands that it is BROKEN and is clearly never receiving a fix. The trait was completely overlooked when they added the revealed mechanic which didn’t exist during launch. It’s better off shunned off in the corner till they decide to fix it in 20 years than being forced onto everyone.
the biggest nerf was initiative on crit, 8 hits from unload gives a lot of initiative, now i’m with a stealth build, then i can hide and wait dancing (during the bosses/f* war) my initiative recharge
Pretty much only way P/P could be strong was stacking ini as much as possible for more unloadage because the AA is so weak. Also hard to combo utility like blinding power without insane ini regen~ that trait was really the only thing keeping it afloat. I loved the Ricochet buff and addition of IP cuz it added a nice chunk of survival to the survivalless weaponset. So all P/P is now is in a much much worse place.
That’s not the only joke trait.
Potent Poisons, while arguably more effective than assassin’s reward … compared to executioner or improvisation, there’s really no reason to pick it up.
Well, it did get the nerfbat before it was released. It was 50% damage on devstream, which sounds crazy so I’m not surprised. But 10% may be too low.
Yeah, the vigor setup is definitely inferior to it so basically a massive nerf. Gives extremely punishing failure and less reward.

You should add two open world PvP Factions. Karka Protectors and Karka Destroyers.

To put it simply; gambling is not designed to benefit you, it’s meant to benefit itself. Even if you get lucky or you hear someone else had, it’s just a trap. ;o NPC wants all your dosh.
It wouldn’t be as bad if they just changed bodyshot to a damaging AOE. The skills still awful.
They made the spec art of Thief holding a staff so pretty much what we’re getting. It may of been Rifle but they did say they’d change it if they decided something better.
They added toilets to LA near crafting area. They even spray water at your butt so you don’t need to wipe.

Same reason they removed/ignore underwater combat and Charr armor. They don’t feel like fixing it anymoar and since not as many people use it they just discard. If P/P was moderately good to the point where a lot of people used it even if it was flawed they might of buffed it. Unpopular things are tossed out.
