That is kind of worrisome, as I do swear a bit myself, but the game isn’t rated M, so we are still bound by that and the EULA, if there is anything regarding profanity in the EULA that is.
havnt you ever heard of “online interactions are not rated by the ESRB”
there should be a key you can hold down and when you click on an item in your inventory itll automatically salvage it if you have the salvage kits needed.
im clearing out my pvp locker for mats and it is extremely slow.
whenever the master volume is up and when i get into a fight this EXTREMELY annoying bug happens where the sound will cut out for a second and cut back in over and over and over and over until the fighting is done.
its not the siren sound. i can actually hear outside my headphones the disconnect and reconnect device sound from my speakers
i was in wvw today and its the first time it happened and it distracted me so much

Don’t allow them to heal while in stealth. They nerf healing for eles in mist form. I understand its different but stealth is just over abused. And fighting someone and getting them to about 10% of there health and then invs you aoe and miss them and they reappear full health. Healing should reveal them.
The thing is, to get that, you need a few things:
- Hide in Shadows
- Shadow’s Rejuvenation
- TONS of Healing Power
That already limits you a lot, since Hide in Shadows has a 30 second cooldown and Shadow’s Rejuvenation requires 30 points into Shadow Arts. And no, you do not heal fast enough with Shadow’s Rejuvenation alone.
Now, Healing Power comes with the following combinations:
- Healing Power / Power / Toughness
- Healing Power / Precision / Vitality
- Healing Power / Toughness / Condition Damage
- Toughness / Boon Duration / Healing Power
- Vitality / Condition Damage / Healing Power
Notice that there is no combination with Healing Power and two damage modifiers. No Condition damage with Precision, no Power with Precision. This means that a Thief who specs for Healing Power lacks damage.
Also, regaining health in stealth means that you’re not dealing damage, unless it’s conditions.
Thus, the only spec available is a P/D bleed spec. And let me tell you, the damage those guys do in comparison to a full berserker Backstab thief is weak.
My point is that you cannot get both damage and massive stealth regeneration.
Shadow Arts trait line. The trait line to improve your stealth ability. This also happens to be your +healing and +toughness trait line. Since you’d want to reach Shadow’s Rejuvenation, then you will have +300 healing before you even consider gear. Not to mention the +300 toughness before you even start to factor in gear
Honestly all ANet has to do is give the Acrobatics trait line the +toughness and +healing. This way, if they go the stealth route, it should cost them survivability while out of stealth.
I mean honestly. Thief players have basically become out right delusional now if they think they are made of glass and if they weren’t see through they would shatter.

when going through your guild list or roster each player should have a little area that the player can leave a message, and a person of adequate privileges can leave a message
for example i want people to be able to scroll over my name and see that i left a message “wanting to do wvw or looking for hotw group” or something. so when someone wants to know how many people are looking for a wvw group all they have to do is look down the roster
it can also be used as a way to show what you are doing on your character like
you scroll over someone name and it says “geared berserker warrior”
also can just use it for a guilds officer to give people sub-titles
like if a player rank was “captain” he could have in his box that he is also a damagedealer or supporter in dungeons or whatever he does.
can also just be used for social purposes just like the league of legends status people have
runes with +burn% duration doesnt seem to affect virtue of justice, and if it does the tool tip is wrong.

To get this result, better reasons need to be given than what have been given so far. In answer, the Devs are going to point to the cash shop items, Bank Access Express and Trading Posts express. Why should they redo the game and lose money in sales on top of that? The people who want this will need to offer compelling reasons for it.

In order to make cash across all accounts, you have to change the game. If you change it that much, the old bank system is obsolete. Why have a money bank at all if its on your hero panel the same as gems and laurels or if all characters carry it at once. If you want more gold than what you are personally carrying and don’t want to waypoint to a nearby crafting place, WvW or LA, then that bank express is what the Devs have put in the game. I’m not arguing that its cost effective, merely that the Devs are going to say “that’s available” to any argument concerning convenience. You will need a better reason than convenience to counter that.
I mentioned the Trading Post express because I misread that person’s post. I thought he meant he was doing the buying out in explorable area.

True – Gems and Glory. Gems are not earned through gameplay directly, and I don’t do that much pvp so Glory escaped me.
I said it would be too easy (at least don’t fuzz my words) to burn through, and if you insist on calling it a “personal self control” just to trivialize the issue and thus ignore it, this is your own personal view, not everyone’s.
I still think you’re missing the point though. I don’t want to be constantly able to withdraw from all my available money. I want to have some of them saved up somewhere. Even more, I don’t want each character to have a common pool so that if I use some I then find my other character’s funds have decreased, and I suddenly realize I have been saving on my other character for something.
But anyway, its your opinion, and only an opinion, that gold should be combined. It’s not a case where you can casually dismiss others’ point of view just because you don’t like it, because your point of view has the exact same weight as others’.
And my opinion is that I don’t like this idea, and rather have it as the system is now – separate gold on all characters.

Actually they don’t do it with Karma. Karma is character bound. Laurels are the only currency directly shared by all characters.
And I didn’t “imply” that it’s a bad idea because of lack of self control on my part. I said that it makes tracking whether you’ve gained or lost gold over the lifetime of a character incredibly more difficult.
For example, I start with a new character, and at level 40, I now have 3 gold. Currently, knowing that I never withdrew gold, I can safely say I’ve gained gold, and not wasted it on buying armor/weapons or crafting mats.
With your system, when I reach 40 and have 11 gold, I’ll be wondering if I managed to make some gold or spend more than I earned. Managing your gold may not be important to you, but it is to me, since I have so precious little of it and don’t want to waste any of it while leveling my characters (because the best spend gold is only for your lvl 80s, where you won’t be discarding any gear/weapons you buy in a day or two, as you do with leveling)
i was wrong about karma, but youre wrong about laurels being the only account bound currency.
gems and glory are also shared throughout your characters. you wouldnt have 1 k gems on 1k character and 2 k on the other, would you?
and in your previous post you said that if coin became account bound you would “burn though” it too fast. that sounds like a personal self control problem any way you say it
also what matters if you on a level 40 and have 11 gold ? youre level 40, you know you have 11 gold to your name. does it matter if its from your other characters than if it was from your level 40 character? why does it matter which character it came from? if youre worried about keeping track of your gold then account bound would be a whole lot easier. youll be able to see your total gold when you log on, and your total gold when you log off. it isnt hard

Seriously? Putting money in the bank is too time-consuming? I mean really? I mean REEEEAAALLLLY?
its faster to just have it always accesible. it saves 2 loading screens and two ports

so far the arguments i heard were “id rather have it so that i have to port to the bank and back and then do it again on my other character”

Each of my characters carries 10 silver, which is plenty for repairs and way pointing. At the end of the day, I clear out inventory and put any excess money in the bank. Why do your characters need to carry a lot of money around? It’s not like they need to buy much, or anything during most play. If they do need something special, like gear upgrade, you can get it before or after you play.
it wouldnt be much use to someone who only has “10” silver on each character……
and how is 10 silver enough for way pointing? thats like 5 ports. 2 of which would be used to get to the bank and back to where you were
but say i had 30 gold on my main, and i wanted to buy some dye for my other account. it would be easier and faster to not have to go to a bank on both characters and just have it automatically accessible to my other character.

I don’t really see why this is needed in the game. Similarly to Astral, each of my characters keep a minimum of 50s. Every time they level up, I go to LA to sell all my junk/items, buy anything I need, and deposit whatever money I have left over. It’s not that difficult.
If ANet did this, I hope it’s optional because I would probably disable it.

simply stated that its easier and faster. if theres people like you who would prefer the extra hassle to port to a bank, run to the bank and deposit the money, and then log on to the character that the money is needed on, port to a bank, run to it, and withdraw it instead of just conveniently having it shared across character’s, i can see how it wouldnt get much support

imagine if they had laurels for every separate character. why would you have to put laurels in to the bank instead of just having it across your account
would be easier to just have all your gold to be used and viewed from all characters.
so instead of having 10 gold on one, and 1 gold on the other, youll just have 11 gold to be used from any character.
would be cool to have npcs occasionally shout out different things based on what players did around them.
for example, things like hitting a mob for more than 20% of their total hp a nearby vigil might say “what power!”
or you recently killed 20 mobs without going down, an npc might say “glad you’re on our side!”
it wouldnt be a 100% chance every time you did something but it would happen. just little credit-giving shouts from time to time from the npcs
ive made 4 different characters and each time the story was different.

put something like a board game, or some kind of mini game inside.possibly even a card game like there was in some games (like final fantasy x2 – had some kind of card/board game)

no, and heres why:
if copper on server A was selling for 17c each, and copper on server b was selling for 25c each, (for what ever reason, just an example)
someone could buy thousands of copper on server A, and then switch to server B and make a giant profit merely by switching servers and reselling his cheaply bought copper for 7+c each.
it’d be hugely exploitable and would “break” the economy – and thats not an exageration.
the world TP works much better
warbanner is great when you through it in rooms where mobs now have a lot of stuns/kd/fear/ and such as it gives stability to everyone nearby.
such as the couple rooms after the door gaurd in CM now, at the dog area, and so on.

I’m not that great of a warrior, but here’s a montage of some of my “fun” moments as a warrior.
i dont see how siege equipment = pay to win
about 90% of the items you gain via RL money are consmetic. So if having better looking armor is blinding you to death or lagging your computer thenkitten. i don’t know what to say.
no you can buy gems and sell for in game gold, letting you literally buy armor and siege equipment with irl money.
however, i dont think they spent irl money on their siege equipment.
people whove farmed dungeons for days have a lot more money than people spending irl money, unless the person spending irl money is buying hundreds of dollars worth of gems
and yet people are still farther into their end game gear than i am with less than half the time played, thanks to the buying gems/selling for gold thing.
