Me and my guild mates are scratching our heads why would you devs need feedback or ways to improve this when you did great job with Scarlet’s aetherblade invasion. The answers are right infront of you. Apart from the idea to reward curency to buy stuff at completion instead of champion bags like last time is good. Other than that every other aspect of this invasion is huge step back compared to Scarlet’s.

The Aetherblades invasion was 3648616481648555899 times better than this. We were expecting a boss at the end. That would be nice. After so many months keeping us dry you could’ve done better. Anyway, still waiting for Halloween fest.

I don’t get it. 2 times we were there, did like 15 events and at the end it says we failed. WTH?

I like it very much. But it has rly bad clipping issues. Pls fix.

I knew it. It’s happening again. For more than a YEAR I haven’t received any of this. F2P is up and here we go again. I’m not against the F2P model, I’m even helping the newcomers at night. But I don’t want to see anymore of this kiTTen.

So, I’m just wondering and I guess many others as well. Are we going to see some kind of new content before we dive into HoT? I saw some people talked in map chat about strange activities across Tyria incoming prior to the release, but I’m not sure.

Also how is the release of the expansion going to affect the Halloween festival? I believe this is a fair question to ask because this is the BEST ingame festival of all.

Silverwastes is a good way to go. Also Cursed Shore event runs. Not sure about FG farming. Haven’t played there since the last champ nerf.

Yesterday while doing Frozen Maw, after we killed the boss I got dc’d. Logged back in and the chest was there. Sometimes it’s not. Maybe because of the megaservers. I log back in to a different ip maybe.
Anyway it’s really annoying. During these mass events playing with very low fps and skill lag is bad enough. Let alone getting dc after the kill. That wasn’t the case before the merge…

Like I said I ‘ve never approved their approach in each of the anniversaries. The Jubilee and the Gauntled fitted nicely during that time and it felt like some kind of a present. This year we have 0 events during the spring/summer time. I myself just log in to get the daily chest and log out. And they expect me to suddenly get in game and buy stuff just because it’s an anniversary… throw me a bone at least lol.

Forget the xpac. I’m 100% sure they could’ve bring something to kill time. That’s why they made the fests generic for easier implementation each year.

I play GW2 from day one and never approved the way they approached the celebrations.
Altho the jubilee and the gauntlet are a Living World content, they fitted very well during the last 2 anniversaries. This year we got nothing to play during the spring/summertime. Even with an xpac in mind it’s lame. Thumbs down.

On the other hand tho we all remember that glorious patch that nerfed the forging. The only thing that is out place – forging lvl80 items which have the possibility to give you results below that level. Still even today me and my friends wonder why oh why this was implemented.
I myself forge at least 60+ rare or exo items lvl80 each day, and in the recent few months I’ve noticed that the below lvl80 output is higher than it used/it should be. Outrageous tbh. Ofc this is only my personal observation.

People used to do statistics about the rate of valuable drops. For science. I ask if someone could do something similar just to see how things are going today. I honestly believe there is something wrong. Because I run constantly with 270%+ magic find, farming different well known spots on a regular basis, and I see the drop of valuable items isn’t what it used to be a year ago. Thoughts?

The lvl 76-79 exotic weapons that got added to the mf drops were intended to add new faucets of salvageable inscriptions and sigils to the game.

I prefer those compared to a lvl 80 pearl weapon, which wont give you any sigil or inscription upon salvage.

This only widens the range, reducing the chance of getting better items. I prefer having a better % of having a precursor. You can keep your insignias and sigils. Am I rite?

The fact that even with megaservers, you can find people everywhere, anytime for anything. Things you don’t get to see even in the top selling games. GW2 is big enough already. All we need is a constant updates of new content. With or without xpacs, the game has proven that is a solid investment.

Come on ANet, throw us a bone here. If no content until halloween or the xpac itself, at least tell us. Things ingame are pretty stalled right now…

Pretty much all episodes were cool. Remember the Aetherblades attack and the chase for Scarlet afterwards? Time was so essential there. Man, great times. Can’t wait to replay em all

I wonder which one will be harder to do. Implementing S1 episodes as journal chapters or as fractal levels. As a veteran player I’m willing to accept them as fractal levels more. Obviously both ways will be simplified of course especially for the journal. Most of the episodes were group content so fractals sounds good to me. Can’t wait to replay The Tower of Nightmares, The Battle of LA and few others.

So from a developing stand point which one will be easier?

But this one thing drives me nuts. Why in the world you guys had to put npc’s in front of those at the bank in LA and patrols around the npc’s at BLTC. Same thing in front of the bank at Divinity’s Reach. It’s like 9 out of 10 times when I go to check my bank they are there, and instead of opening my bank I greet an npc and this is driving me crazy.
I mean I love to greet walking npcs but come on this is absurd Tell them to go elsewhere. These places are the most used after all.

Free or not it’s a bloody RIP-OFF. Every salesman/customer knows this.

I doubt anything of consequence will be said officially. A lot of negative posts will start disappearing from the forums in a day or two, and then there’ll be white noise and radio silence.

Currently I’m reading responses in 4 different major gaming sites and I assure you they aren’t pretty. This won’t get swept under the rug arenanet style.

yeah, Anet has NCsoft behind them, which have a huge say in pricing of the game and what is or isn’t offered

this isn’t blizz where they make and publish their own game, they can’t just announce free chr slots for everyone

This is one of my favorite legendaries. I was so happy when I finally made it.
I don’t think it needs footprints but a nice aura is welcome indeed. And perhaps some sound efects?

Pretty sure it’s either small chance from the node or conversion once a day. You don’t need a lot, anyway, unless I’m missing something.

Anyway, I used to farm sparks in Malchor’s Leap when I neesed gazillion of them. Recently I heard theh got stealth nerfed for the 37459226 time. But I’m not sure.
I do want you OP to know that I feel ya in this case. Before the champ bags it was nearly suicidal to get as much as u needed.
Now there are additional methods to get em. Good luck with hunting.
