To date I still don’t know what happened with this event. We used to kill him on a daily basis for weeks. And suddenly, something went wrong with the last LS patch.

If I with my mere level 180 have 10k badges (I do and have used quite a few already), what would the guy with level five thousand have that I met the other day? I think the impact will be noticeable enough to make the market slightly more healthy. But even reducing the pressure from the prices is at least something. Back in the day when this issue occurred for the first time Anet took a small step to handle the control on this. Untill April 15th patch everything seemed fine for many of us. I myself bought my precursor at a reasonable price. I got my legendary after hard 3 months of work. But atm I see my friends struggle big time so yeah wtf?

You don’t have to do all 10 things to get credit for the Daily. That would be back to Square 1.

Yes, I hate that they reduced the options. Especially since they capped the total amount of AP you can earn from Dailies over all. My guess is, in a future patch, the options will increase again. They just over-corrected for the problem of too many AP coming from Dailies and Monthlies.

Ok perhaps not exactly back to square one but you got my feeling about it. The majority of players are in the 8-11k achievement points range. I myself am at 10.6k now imagine after playing from day 1, when am I supposed to reach the 21k points to get the boots? Let’s not mention if there is a coat as well somewhere in these boxes past 22k. Probably next year lol. That’s why it’s a huge step backwards.

Nowadays doing Chan is such a pain in the kitten.

First you changed timers for Tequatl which screw up the entire daily organisations. Now this. I HATE this new system. The old timers were absolutely fine. The new mechanics in some boss encounters are good. But come oooooon I want the old timers!

Do you have any idea how much mouses are gone into oblivion? I had SteelSeries WoW mouse, GW2 mouse and 2 more all gone because of exceeding clicking. Do something about this already.

The last 4 releases were fantastic. Me and my friends never had so much fun playing this game. (Ok maybe the first 2 months). The living story needs depth. After so many complaints Anet listened to us and delivered. If they keep it up – oh boy. Can’t wait.

And I don’t want to see her again. Watching this bad character for a year was enough for me. I’m popping fireworks all day long at the Vigil keep celebrating her death. Please no more this lettuce head. Let’s proceed to the future.

So…. a one hour time difference is game breaking for you? On a related note, why should Anet make major shifts in scheduling because one or two people are inconvenienced? What about the 150 people who now can do both Wurm and Teq back to back? This change is a blessing.

Then Wurm could have been shifted instead of Teq. I honestly don’t even know of any server that is actively doing wurm. ArenaNet probably thought that since Teq/wurm were on the same timer that was the reason wurm wasn’t getting done. The real reason is because ArenaNet decided, poorly I might add, to develop content for the hardcore players and due to the poor rewards and massive amount of effort it simply isn’t worth doing.

Edit: For example after Teq we go straight for the Karka kill. If the Wurm get’s scaled down to Teq difficulty I see people rushing for it after Southsun. It would be a nice triple kill. But the wurm is way to hard and unrewarding even I don’t bother with it.

Few months ago they promised they will try to communicate more with us. Since then the majority of replies are off-topic in any given thread telling us what we shouldn’t post. Kudos to John Smith tho and the CDI folks.

My observation so far is that 90% of the on-topic replies are concerning the BLTC.

As a daily organiser for Teq on my server I must agree that only the Wurm had to be changed. The fact that the LA events that spawn at xx:00 (and the LS events before this end at xx:50) I find it difficult at this time to properly put together a kill for Teq. I know it’s temporary but come on.. give us a bone here.

That’s probably all which should be said from reading this post from CC Danicia. She’s not PR or developer, she’s basically a non-automated moderator. (Though I can’t be too sure about that, the asura have made lots of progress in auto-moderation.)

I mean, there’s a lot they could probably say, but how much should they say as far as their superiors are concerned? Remember there is a limit to how candid they can actually be, and probably err on the side of caution to avoid white knighting their own game.

. . . or worse, one of them getting a green light to be 100% candid and proceeding to say things people don’t want to hear.

Aside from “we think we made a great game, even though it’s still got things we need to fix”, which is exactly what you’d get with varying degrees of verbosity if another red post was dropped in here.

This is one of the things that drives me nuts. When the BLTC goes down on a Sunday super sport night (I still don’t know what that bowl is neither I care) someone comes and fixes it right away.
But simple bugs that are here to stay from day 1 never get any attention. And you expect from me to buy gems. Right.

All I can say is that if the RNG was gone, this would be THE BEST GAME OF THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE!.

2. Make the hearts ‘refresh’ every month, doing a heart event will give it a green’heart’ symbol, and the first time doing a heart will count for map completion. At the end of each month though, all ‘inner’ hearts will be reset. The ‘complete X heart events’ can then be added to the monthly completion list, and/or can cycle with other monthly achievements (f/e the events one).

Suddenly I got tears in my eyes. YES YES YES and YES!
This is what hooked me into this game. Hearts and events. I have 100% map completion on 3 toons. But why should I bother do them again for no reason/reward (consider hearts can’t be done again with the same char).
And I want to go back. I do. This was the most fun part of my entire gaming life. Playing with friends, doing random events, racing towards the next heart.. oh the joy! And now it’s gone. Been there. Done that.

As a PvE’rs all we do now is farm meta events, redo dungeons for a 429387429384928 time and LS which lasts like 5 hours.

Give me a reason to go back to the world with my friends! There are so many GOOD events and activities out there left behind!!!!

Hey Josh,

The biggest, most frustrating, most baffling issue with Wurm is the overflow system. I was just in an overflow on BG(one of the larger server populations) and we had about 20 people try to kill Crimson. We knew we couldn’t get all of them, why try right? We did the escorts and failed miserably without a single burn. The event just doesn’t scale. AT ALL. 20 champs running around one shotting the 4 people that stayed, since the others realized the this was an exercise in futility.
Is this the way that GW2 is going to progress with open world events? Be in a maxed out server, or wait a few hours afk to get a chance to do content?
You guys really need to look hard at what the overflow system is doing to the playerbase and make a change or changes asap.
I would recommend having an overflow system like GW1 did with districts so people who are not in the main server can at least organize.
Either way, the current meta of Wurms is: Unless you’re on a large,full, main server, you have little to no chance at completing the content, which will lead to people not even bothering.
