This is a selfish request but… Arena Net, could you please repost the permanent passes (Royal Terrace Pass and Captain’s Airship Pass) on the Gem Store or feature them on the March: Daily Sale someday?

This game is definitely dead: the mindless zerging in Living World, countless overflows, 200+ people queued in World vs World reset day in Eternal Battlegrounds, being stampeded in Edge of the Mists, flooding mapchats, and burn me like Ascalon I’m seeing players walking literally in Divinity’s Reach.

Oh hey, why are there so many Guild Wars 2 blog posts, Facebook updates, short stories in Flickr (what in balthazar’s name – flickr!?)? Arena Net must be extremely silent… No wonder their game is dead.

What were they doing in PAX 2013 and gave away $10,000 U.S. dollars? The game is supposed to be dead, right OP?

Taimi can be killed maybe when she is in adulthood? Asurans have only 5-10% longer lifespan than humans.

If you are used to grinding hardcore or have played Maplestory before, you can spend countless hours in Frostgorge Sound slaying champions and collecting loot. Within a month you can purchase your legendary weapon off trading post without dumping a single gold and stuff into the Mystic Forge. However, it is going to be extremely boring so you might want listen to podcasts (example: "VisualWood Podcast" - Guild Wars 2 topics and it is funny and quirky) and audiobooks (example: A Song of Ice and Fire series / Game of Thrones on television). Or… you can buy gems, then convert them to gold, and purchase a legendary weapon off the trading post (don't do this unless you are filthy rich in real life).

I think Arena Net did a pretty good job at making the community / heroes (MC) be angry at Scarlet Briar. I believe that they made her extremely obnoxious on purpose. Almost everybody hated her. That hatred built up to having the urge to murder her coldblooded. Since you (we) are the main characters / heroes, we supposed to scorn our villains.

You witnessed Kasmeer Meade’s resolve. She did not stay in the corner with Marjory Delaqua and continued hiccuping. Kasmeer reacted and wanted to avenge Marjory.

I can see the disappointment in this thread. However, I will not rate the season one Living World as low, high, or average score because it was experimental. The Personal Story itself is quite rushed and you may say ‘horrible’.

Give them time. Guild Wars 2 has been out for only 18 months. Arena Net is getting there.

I have one character and it is a level eighty warrior. I just can’t play an alternative character, and I always delete them. However, I have different types of weapons, armors, and ascended trinkets on it like Berserker, PVT, and more.

Dear Arena Net,

Please let us walk or run while playing the Musical Harp, Marriner’s Horn, and the Choir Bell. The Flute is the only in-game musical instrument that lets you do that. And please add Drums on the Gem Store!

Okay guys, I have some theories & rumors that will happen in GW2!

Being able to sort for what your specific class can wear via the Trading Post.

Anet will shut down gw2, buy dungeon fighter from nexon and run that instead as a competitive game.

Ritualist and Dervish, totally coming to the game. They will be introduced early on in the future expansion patch, and at the end of the patch, you will need to complete the final mission to unlock Paragon.

Capes.

Guild Wars.

Instanced Dragon Raids. Teq and other meta events turned into instanced fights. Group size increased to 8 for this. raid groups introduced. Normal mode Dragon fights: 24 man. Hard mode dragon fights introduced, group size: 40.

Tier 7 armor – Transendant armor. minimal but noticable increase from ascended and exotic. Legendary armor introduced at same tier.

Level cap increased to 85.

Remove log out button.

Herobrine introduced.

Perma-death.

Necromancers can use Greatswords.

New instanced raid boss introduced that req. 50 AR to fight in normal mode.

Who the hell is Taimi everyone is talking about? I never got any hint in the game. There is only the obvoius LA attack.

Taimi is a progeny (asuran child) with superior intellect and sadly has scoliosis. She is obsessed with Scarlet Briar’s intellect and wish to follow her. Taimi’s golem Scruffy shelters her whenever she is in danger and it also serves as her transportation.

Arena Net may implement phasing technology in Guild Wars 2. Those who have not finished the Personal Story in Lion’s Arch will experience different from those who did.

Don’t rush to level 80. Take time and be absorbed by the world of Tyria.

Musical Harp cannot be used when switching musical instruments from either Unbreakable Choir or Flute and Marriner’s Horn. This is might be a small bug but it is quiiiiite irritating… Other instruments can be swapped without getting this error though.

ex:
Harp = Bell, Horn, Flute
Bell, Horn, Flute =/= Harp

I encountered friendly tengu beyond the Dominion of Winds. The tengu guards are just indifferent towards travelers.

Hi Keenan Sieg. JayMack and roseria pretty much described the issue I am experiencing. The sound changes sometimes and eerie.

I am going to be extremely biased. To me Guild Wars 2 has been the most generous MMORPG. First of all there is no monthly subscription. Then there is the Living World which is given to me almost every other week, it is pretty much free downloadable content. And also I don’t have to spend real money on the gemstore because I can convert my gold to gems.

There is a startling sound while Guild Wars 2 is fully muted. It is like a random one drum beat or a scratch noise that comes every hour. Sometimes it echoes, too. It is very scary while listening to a podcast. I brought this up at the Bugs forum section but was hardly noticed.

Please take time and mute Guild Wars 2 and listen to a radio show or simply mute and play the game. Anyone will notice it. It is scary if you are living alone. It is making me anxious and paranoid. I have been hearing it only when I’m playing Guild Wars 2.

Please remove it, Arena Net.

Hi again. The sound is becoming frequent. To anyone curious, mute Guild Wars 2, and you will notice the flicking/echoing/stomping noise that comes every 5-20 minutes – but be warned it is kinda creepy.

Some people have farmer mentality. You can do it casually, just do one run and that was it. Do not force yourself to do it over and over again.

The Zodiac armor set reminds me so much of Dwayna’s dervish form.
