- A week to a month (reason below at the bottom why the raid is long )

- 25-30

- Multiple floors (8-10)
- Jumping puzzles
- Mazes
- Traps
- Levers / switch
- Pressure plates
Mechanics
- Boss and minions
- Tower defense (camps)
- Supply management: logs, ores, etc. (this will come up as whether the guild is ready and have enough resources to move on to the next boss)
- Profession abilities will be needed, such as Leap, Stealth, Portals, etc. to navigate the raid instance
Accessibility
- Guild instanced raid
- Guild members can go in and out of the raid to bring resources to the raid through the course of a month (month long open instance)
Raid
1. A Raid Guild must bring crafting resources such as logs, and ores to the raid. They will use the resources throughout the raid.
2. Specific profession abilities will be used to navigate the raid. Some levers are unreachable with a simple jump, one raid member must use Leap to reach the lever and activate a door. Stealth buff will be used by a raid member to active a switch surrounded by traps that will trigger if a player was detected heading to the switch. Mesmer portals will be used mostly since the raid has jumping puzzles and mazes.
3. Players build siege weapons using resources they brought such as ballistas to remove a defensive skill that stacks overtime – boss becomes invulnerable at 25 stacks and will have Quickness buff for 1 minute. Waves of minions will attack siege weapons.
4. Bosses will deal extra damage on a cluster of players and have multiple, random phases. The boss event circles will scale based on the number of players inside.
5. After killing a boss, a waypoint will spawn, this will provide as a spawn point for players so they do not have to re-navigate through the jumping puzzles and areas that can only be unlocked by specific professions/abilities.
6. Players must use their resources/supplies they brought to the raid to build a camp (barricades, and automatic ballistas and arrowcarts) around the waypoint. Enemies will spawn continuously at the start of the unlocked paths (start of a new maze), they will come in waves to destroy the waypoint, and will try to revive the dead boss of that particular area. Siege weapons such as arrow carts and ballistas are automated in the camp (Tower Defense). Players can also revisit the camp to upgrade and fix defenses as the barricades, and towers’ health will be attacked. The waypoint will not be contested despite the waves of monsters.
7. 2-6 raid feature will repeat until the raid group reaches the final boss.
8. During the final boss – a colossal boss and extremely difficult to kill. Players must climb the boss (jumping puzzle) and use melee weapons to attack weak spots to stun it. Once the boss is stunned players below can attack.
Rewards after completing the entire raid. Guild Leader or Guild Officer must be present to claim them
- 1 precursor of choice (Soulbound on Use; can be given to another guild member)
- 10 dungeon gift of choice (Soulbound on Use; can be given to another guild member)
- 1 full armor set specific only from the raid (Soulbound on Use; can be given to another guild member)
- 100,000 Guild Influence
- 1,000 Guild Merit
Notes
The rewards could cause a guild drama because of the Loot Council. This, however, is better than RNG, and better than completing the raid within a few hours and repeat it over and over again hoping to get lucky from RNG. Also, this is a week to a month long epic raid so the raiders deserve the grand reward. Guilds also can repeat the raid because the cost is the same as the rewards (Guild Merit and Guild Influence).
I chose add to some mechanics like tower defense, jumping puzzles, profession specific abilities, and supply management because Guild Wars 2’s raids deserve to be completely unique from the traditional MMORPG.
I’m so excited
not
I’m also not excited. Arena Net should put monthly subscription to Guild Wars 2 and put a price tag for updates for as low as $20.
I hope your sarcastic.
Because I would never pay $20 for the three story steps that are the episode releases. 200 gems, sure, which is $5. But $20 (aka 1600 gems)? No. Just. No.
And no monthly subscription either – I’d have to quit GW2. I don’t have the money for a monthly subscription – it’s why I play GW2, why I picked up GW1 in the first place.
I wouldn’t mind paying for all four episode sets in one go for $20 though. That would actually feel like a nearly fulfilling update, rather than 4 small ones over the course of 8 weeks.
1 medium size update every 3 months >> 4 small updates every 2 weeks with a 2 month break.
1 large update (aka expansion) every 6 months >>> either of the above
Why would you respond to my low quality bait? I had baited you before in the Lore sub-forum several times with such effort I was able to make you write several paragraphs. That was 8-14 months ago and I also apologize for doing that, it was kind of fun…

Please add a ragged / homeless / beggar outfit on the gemstore. Make it untidy, and add dirt in the face and on the character’s skin. The outfits and armor sets in Guild Wars 2 are too clean those do not fit the high-fantasy-esque clothing.
“Help Cesseilia defend and research the oasis” heart/task in Bloodtide Coast is bugged when you give the potion you created to Cesseilia. Your character becomes immobilized or stuck and maybe the only way of removing this is logging in and out. This is blocking progress and needs to be fixed immediately. Other players are experiencing this, not just me.
Has anyone else noticed that the Kodan’s animation is spazzing out? Their thumbs’ animations are jagged and all over the place. At first I thought they were simply wielding daggers but they aren’t.
The Sylvari merchat in Lion’s Court (Lion’s Arch, Grand Piazza) standing by the carriage has an American accent while chatting with the Human merchant next to her. But when interacted / “Greet [F]” she speaks in English accent…
Hey, Mai.9462! Here is the wiki page where you can see all the voice actors in Guild Wars 2: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Voice_actor
Steve Blum voices almost every English dubbed anime. Guess what? He is the voice of Rytlock Brimstone!
I noticed some Whispers Agents are back to Lost Grotto.
I want a hardcore difficulty for Mordremoth’s fight (example) where you have to climb on its back when it swoops down. When Mordremoth is banking in the air left and right, players have to climb (jumping puzzle) its left/right side to avoid falling off to their deaths. Then, players have to destroy some of Mordremoth’s wings to force it to land.
Players who missed the jump will repair Charr Tanks that were damaged during Mordremoth’s swoop attack. Nearby players will get on Charr Tanks and harpoon Mordremoth once it’s on the ground to prevent it from escaping. When the elder dragon is on the ground, players can deal substantial damage to it. Mordremoth will attempt to destroy the tanks and regrow its wings. If the elder dragon destroyed the last tank it will flee.
This is a secret (not anymore) tavern in Lion’s Arch west of Mystic Plaza. I believe this replaced the tavern that was once in Sanctum Harbor. I applaud the designer who created this place.
Please, Arena Net devs. Tell us if you removed Error Attempting to Sell. This thing has been an annoyance for me and everyone for over 2 years. I’ve made several rage threads about this error which were deleted. Error Attempting to Sell does not stop botters on TP, they could set timers and probably continue to flip prices 24/7.
At the very least ANET should change the text of the error message to be more useful. You are selling items too fast. Wait a bit before trying again would be far more useful than the current message.
Why do you think it’s an anti-botting measure ?
Bots are patient. They won’t get frustrated at the error. They can wait.
It’s humans who get frustrated.
And why do legit players have to be part of this? It’s like when someone do something wrong everybody gets affected. They need better botting countermeasures.

If I saw “Error Attempting to Sell” in the new Trading Post…

Greetings, here is a photo of myself in front of a statue made by bookahs in Divinity’s Reach.
I have a few suggestions for AI team.
1. Make the mini AoE-loot for the player.
2. All crafting materials looted by the mini go to collectibles bank.
3. When your inventory is full the mini should send the excess loot to your bank directly.
4. Minis move fast like Ranger pets for #1.
5. Minis revive players in down state in PvE only – dungeons are not included. (?)
6. Minis can destroy a specific item you don’t want (example: Pile of Bloodstone Dust)
7. They can open Containers and Champion Bags and do #2.
8. They will activate food and consumables for you.
9. Minis salvage “White, Blues, and Greens” armor and weapons then do #2.
Offtopic: I got this mini/pet idea from Maplestory. Maplestory and Guild Wars 2 are very similar… their combat, platforming, and no holy trinity. I love them both!
6 (1-2-3—5) (3-2-3 3-2-1) 6

6 (1-2) 5 5-8-6-6Don’t know if it’s right, but it sounds like that to me. xD
Haven’t figured out the violin part yet, but I might add that later.
Does anyone know the tabs for the violin part? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBIWK7ddLpg At 1:04 to 1:40
As the title says. Additional Bag Slots should be account bound once we purchased them from Gem Store. This is one of the most important features in Guild Wars 2 that needs to become account-bound.
PS: Make everything account bound! Muhahaha!
300g per color is ridiculous!!! Everyone knows that nobody can earn that much gold easily in World vs World – even in Edge of the Mists karma trains. Let alone in PvE, nobody can earn that quick by farming a few days. Commander’s Compendium must stay 100g, must unlock all color upon purchase, and people who bought it in the past must unlock all the colors. If Arena Net released 300g color commander tags in the September 2014 Feature Pack it shows that they are not listening to the community.
Steps how to do world completion in WvW:
1. Go to WvW the day before reset with all your characters and collect all the world completion you can get (your server’s borderlands and eternal battlegrounds area). Avoid encounters if you don’t want to participate in fights.
2. When your server changed team color for the next match, repeat step 1.
3. Repeat step 2.
This process will take about three to six weeks, but once you completed it you can return to PvE world completion and collect 2x Gifts of Exploration from each of your characters.
Who is forcing you to grind? You did. You brought yourself in this situation.
You must be joking right? There is nothing you can do in PVE except grinding for cosmetics.
“You must be joking right?” I bet roleplayers grind to be in character. Again… who is forcing people to grind? Themselves. Humans are programmed to do repetitive task. Are you obligated to grind? Who is demanding you to grind this game? If you can’t take Shinnies, don’t take Shinnies. Oh, wait I forgot that Skritts play this game. Moving on.
Who is forcing you to grind? You did. You brought yourself in this situation.
Inventories are shrinking once again. This bug occurs approximately every 10 minutes. And while I’m reporting a bug: “Help Crusader Angaria signal reinforcements for the assault on Arah”, “Aid the Pact soldiers around the airship wreck” are events that are not advancing, and Elana [Trading Post] can not be interacted in some Cursed Shore megaservers.
I love the Living World setup it starts lore speculations and generate hype for the next chapter. It is completely free!
Living World is free so basically you can log in and log out every two weeks to unlock chapters. Come back next year to marathon all the chapters in a few days and pretend like you are playing an actual expansion.
Great. This chain was a fun one. Now it will be just another zerg fest.
True but this champion train is extremely profitable.
I want Kasmeer’s staff!
Arena Net must add Super Adventure Box as a permanent Dungeon and on Looking For Group Tool.
Has Breaking the Ice meta event always been happening every 10 minutes before Dragon’s Reach Part 1? How did we overlook this? This meta event is awesome! It has 13-16 champions if it’s scaled up!
edit: If you guested on one of the Tier 1 servers, you’ll be sent to the most populated Frostgorge Sound megaserver and the events will scale up.

ANet please let us block group (and maybe guild too) invites while in invisible mode. Invites are spammable and trollish. If you put them in your Blocked list they can still spam you. Even if you don’t do anything they will cancel invitation and invite you again and again. So please add a feature that disables group (and guild) invites.
Thank you so much for your replies Astral Projections.
Okay, my next suggestion for outfit is cloak. I want us to be able to dye it so we could look like mysterious strangers like we see in most of fantasy films and television shows, and maybe dye it red to imitate Little Red Riding Hood.
“An exploit is the misuse of a software feature or bug in a way that allows a player to generate in-game benefits without the risk or time expected by the game’s designers”
So if a player could die from farming an incomplete event then it is not an exploit?
There are events that will not advance unless you revive non-player characters or you submit a certain amount of items to them. Can you get banned by intentionally farming monsters that spawn continuously during an incomplete dynamic event?
Please add a ragged / homeless outfit on the gemstore. Make it untidy, and add dirt in the face and skin of the character’s skin. The outfits and armor sets in Guild Wars 2 are too clean those do not fit the high-fantasy-esque clothing, in my honest opinion.
Hyleks can witness the Eternal Alchemy as well. Drink from the cauldron which you can spawn using your Enchanted Broom. I’d turn myself into a Hylek witch, and take screenshots of the Eternal Alchemy but I’m too busy.
In a decade or two your character name will be spoken by non-player characters and players in Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online games (.hack / Sword Art Online / Log Horizon reference).
I like think of the Player Character as Commander Shepard from the Mass Effect Trilogy. She is somewhat immune to indoctrination and will not be corrupted by Sovereign one of the “Reapers” (Elder Dragons in Guild Wars 2) unlike Saren Arterius (Scarlet Briar in Guild Wars 2) did who revered his master.
Virtues: Grandmaster XI / 11 – Permeating Wrath does not burn the area around the caster, but instead you and your allies inflict burning on the next attack. The skill fact for this trait does not appear on Virtue of Justice tooltip as shown by the image below.
A Bloodstone shard?
mass effect..
MASS EFFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is official! Elder Dragons are REAPERS!!!
The funny thing is, Theo Nguyen an Arena Net game designer has a character named “Shepard.” When we pops his commander tag and you hover over your mouse pointer on his tag you’ll see “Commander Shepard.” #sweg
I think Arena Net should include a medium difficulty jumping puzzle in the future Elder Dragon fights like Mordremoth. Which means… there has to be a phase where we have to ride on the Elder Dragon before it flies, and while it is flying we have to climb it and get to its head/wings/weak spot to attack it. When an elder dragon is barrel-rolling (slow because of its mass) we have to climb its sides to avoid falling off to death.
What do you think? Personally, I think Arena Net should pick up on this. Most raid/boss fights in MMORPGs require you to look at the telegraphed attack on the ground – always, so why not add something new, right?
Mordremoth: Bash the Tyrians. Smash the Tyrians… may they never rise up again!
Please add a “Reset Skill Cooldowns” option in the Heart of the Mists hub for testing.
I find crafting multiple siege weapon blueprints at the Mystic Forge extremely tedious and time consuming. So, I would like Arena Net to simplify the Mystic Forge and make it kind of similar to the crafting stations which can be hasten. It felt like they forgot to add this in the Feature Patch so I want this to be also implemented in Guild Wars 2. World vs World players, would you not agree?
Can we please have the option to block guild and group invites? Place it in General Options where we can check and unchecked stuff.
Here is an example how it would look like:
Social & Communities
[ ] Allow Guild invites
[?] Allow Group invites
It can get frustrating at times. Sometimes, I receive random guild invites without even knowing what I’m into. Group invites can be spammed and troll-ish, and blocking them won’t work either.
This should not conflict with the Looking For Group tool since you are not being invited.
Feature Packs coming up on April 15th.

Season 2 Living World is upcoming soon. I’m not sure when it is though. Lion’s Arch is in ruins now.
It has been over a month since I posted this thread. Please, I would like to hear updates from Arena Net.
I want an intelligent skritt engineer.
