no , you can only have one cooldown active at time. If your first axe is trigged the second axe has have no chance to activate until the cooldown wear off on the first axe .. so you always have 30%

yesterday i played 2:30Hrs :

- I played the TP mini game a bit
- Finished at least 6 daily task .. so is more than requirement
- Tequalt , Jormag , fire elemental + one Maw event
- Eternal Battleground jumping puzzle 2 times ( 2 toons )
- Enough WvWvW battle to earn 30 Badges of honor with a ranger

oh and my March monthly is already done at 100% and with my guild we have completed one bounty mission already ( 2 guild commendation ) …… so matbe today ill just do my daily in 20 minutes and relax

well , i do not agree with OP. GW2 players should not receive a replacement of any kind. you want it ? go play GW1 to earn it. Getting all the items of the HoM unlocked is the same amount of work of getting a legendary in GW2 or worst.

If we take the GW1 vanquisher titles for example .. you had to clear all monsters in each zones in hard mode on 3 worlds ( Tyria , Cantha , Elonia ) .. so if i say that you have to do GW2 100% world completion 3 times before receiving one gift of exploration will you accept that ? Cartographer title is another one , again , you have to do on 3 worlds.

HoM is more than that …. there is a plethora of titles to achieve to earn point that enable you to unlock items .. so you did not played Gw1 , You did not spend the time like me to earn Gw1 achievements : You DONT deserve the mask or a replacement skin.

People paid big $$ to get the Gw2 collector edition with the Rytlock statue … what if months later they start selling Jormag Statue for half the price … ?? could you imagine how many people will go crazy ??

GO play Gw1 and earn your rewards. End of story

But now, My character screen still says 100% , world map say 99% since the last patch .. there is a new WP somewhere ?? yes i have the newest one in LA , and the two others in Orr …

you can still ‘’ dance ’’ with the weapon in hands , it still work i did it a couple of times while waiting for invaders

i prefer Gw2 because in RL there is too much Bugs ….

The Bloodstone require 200 SP if you going for a legendary. I have one bloodstone in my bank and about 120 SP on my character. Doing daily task , map completion , cursed shore farming help to level fast and earn SP quick.

The rewards are only armor/weapons skins , not actual items

the only giant ( not undead ) i found is near Barricade Camp Waypoint , east of the vista in Harathi Hinterlands

no no .. each time they put the Gem shop for maintenance .. there is a huge spike but it drop instantly when they restart it.

if i remember correctly the last time i switched to French , only the cinematics was translated in audio french .. in towns all the NPC don’t talk ….

if you switch to french , before restarting the game check the game archive maybe you have to download more stuff. But yes there is French audio in the game.

that’s because the Guesting feature is abused .. with the dragons event timers on internet .. peoples swarm on the same server when a event go live ….

Someone here had a brilliant idea to make Yak’s bend a unofficial guesting server for PvE events …. this is my home server and the Jormag event was really painful and laggy as hell … thank you very much.

I agree, chests are too small and easy to miss. Please make them bigger, brighter, with initial flash when they spawn.
Additional sound notification would be really nice when the chest drop on the ground, or make the character speak their “sweet loot” babbles. This would give us a clue to take a look around the ground for the valuable chest.

Thanks for the help but no I did not see it today. Is it on Gw2Spidy? I don’t have access to the game at work since I am mostly busy with fixing bugs for our game and I usually get out at around 9-10pm.

One of my friends noticed that it is usually the middle of the week when the gem to gold would be at it’s highest but I am working out of town during the weekdays so I can’t do that. Has to be Friday night to Sunday night for me.

there is a timer on the value you see .. if you really want to trade , click fast on the trade button because if you take to much time you will get a network error and when you refresh the value can be lower by 1G or 50 S .. it’s gamble really …

Players with bad characters names do have a chance to rename when they log in. Yes , in august 2012 my display name was renamed by A.net. Same situation as the OP ,, yes my fault and i apologize .. but im not happy with my current display name that i have not choosed. My current name is absurd .. im even willing to pay to change it

Problem No#1 : people claim to have a high end machine, when in fact this is not true at all. The term’’ high end’’ seems to be really perceived any kind of ways…. how can a i2500K can be called high end …come on …

well You can have multiple set of weapons when your stack of 25 luck is built you can switch to another weapon and keep the stack .. thats what i do .. then i switch to my +9% crit weapons .. im not running any MF gear except this sigil will you kick me ?

Yep. You need to have it on for at least 25 kills in the dungeon to build your stack. I would absolutely kick you.

i dont’ think there is too many of them …. there are a horde of undeads after all… my problem is they spawn to fast … i don’t mind killing a bunch to get to that mining ore but i would like to have the time to mine the ore before they are on my back again …

So far, server transfers are still free, and even full pop servers can be transferred to if you try it at really odd hours. If you truly are stuck in the third place starting area every single week, then yeah, a couple of well chosen transfers should get you what you need.

Even with all that effort, it’s still by far one of the easiest parts of the legendary requirement.

how many of you have had it easy when the free transfer was allowed at each 24Hrs ??

Now the new A..net blog talks about paid transfers with time limitation ( probably still 7 days ) how do you feel about that ?? perhaps another visit to the gems store ? $$$$$$

i still stand that 100% world completion in WvW need to be worked on … remove them and add them to the PVE world …. we want more peoples in open worlds right ??

All POI and Vista are doable solo .. even in Orr and it’s easy. But for the ones in WvW you can’t do them without going to others servers. Like you said your world can be stuck for weeks with the same color team or being crushed by the other two over and over …

Bad bad bad design choice ….. i will never do that a second time until there is some sort of fix …. i was stuck on another world for 7 days and then when i was allowed to transfer again my original home world was full …. wow .. took me one month to return from my exile .

Bad bad bad choice …. i can add the WvW jumping puzzle is a pain too … peoples that run naked for Vistas/POIs and the jumping puzzle are stealing spots for peoples that want really to fight in WvW .. adding waiting time in the queues …

this game have issues with reflections , shaders and shadows no matter how powerful your system is … not efficient at multi-core either

i have a 6 cores ( physical) CPU and two GPU.. there is no difference in performance if i use one or two GPU… upgrading a decent GPU for another for GW2 is a waste of money .. with a intel 3930k there is nothing more you can do but to wait that A.net fix the game.

The cave Troll do not deserve passion or love , sometimes he leaves his cave to beat the cows, I love milk so I have a problem with the Troll.

This game is incredible and frustrating … to have a chance to get a precursor i farm over and over in Orr .. im doing the Dragon fights Jormag/Shatterer/Tequalt whenever they are up only to get green or blue crap items and no BL Keys …. what dropped from a Ice imp for me yesterday in Frostgorge ? : a BL key … this is unbelievable …

I completed one of the hardiest jumping puzzle in southcove shore it took me one hour after several falls.. what was inside the grand chest ?? green and blue items no BL Keys …. proceeded to the champion wind rider after the puzzle .. killed the champion alone and opened the champion chest .. a blue item .. NO BL KEY.

There is no rewards in this game for hard accomplishments , no reward for actions that are really important… but you get one after you kill a ice imp.

I went on vacation for 7 days … away from any form of computers. Before i left , it was like 4 servers full and all the rest at High or very High (U.S). Now im back , im logging in to find 7 servers Very High and all the rest at Full …. What happened ????

My guild home world is Yak bend .. i can’t go back .. i swapped world because i wanted to complete world at 100% and it was impossible because the Yak world was stuck with the same color in WvW for weeks … now i finally have the 100% world completion but im stuck on Borlis Pass world ….

there is something very wrong and don’t smell good .. in 7 days all servers went from high to Full and in the GW2 front home page Mike Lewis announce us that 34,000 accounts was terminated ( botting )

when the e-mail option change tool was online .. a hacker only needed your e-mail and password and bam ! you are locked out of your account… now A.net ask for serial Key , credit card info etc … to verify if you are the legitimate owner because anyone can submit a ticket and ask for a e-mail change , got it ?

i was in the same situation as you , i changed my internet provider and my e-mail changed too … i got it sorted out in 2 days ….im sorry that it went wrong for you

Also , It could be easily been entered by an hacker too if your account was compromised. The option was there in the early days …. they had to remove it because hackers steal and hack passwords from other sites/games and then literally scan GW2 accounts … and if they find one they change the e-mail and you are locked out of your account ..

At least they have more control for now on e-mail changes with this method … and hey … they do it for you … for your security

As it stands, the current Tier 3 Cultural armor price is extremely high. Clocking in at 119 gold for a full set, it is nigh impossible to attain this set in a reasonable time without grinding. I’ve given this a bit of thought and i can only see two logical solutions.

1: Lower the price (reasonably)

At the moment the jump from Tier 1 to Tier 2 is about 2.7x in terms of price. The jump from Tier 2 to Tier 3, however, is much larger. Around 15x the price. My solution would be to reduce the price of each piece to anywhere between 7-17 gold per piece. This would mean that the full set would cost around 70 gold. This is high enough that it would maintain exclusivity of the set but would still cut a sizable chunk of the grind and monotony out.

I have full set stag armor … will you refund me if they lower the price ?? The price is ok , it’s not hard getting money is this game … peoples just rush , wants and go right away for the high end items … if you have your Tier 3 armor and a legendary already what else is left for you in the game ?? come on the game is 4 months old ……

Just by playing the game i can make without efforts 1.5 Gold per game session (2 – 3 hours ). Now if i put little efforts and check TP .. prices .. looking for the current highest item in demand .. sell , buy .. re-list items etc … i can do like yesterday : start playing the game with 2 gold im my inventory and finish two hours and a half later with 9.5 Gold … so i made 7 Gold yesterday … not bad …

just don’t buy anything .. wear what you find .. sometimes components worth more than the item itself so salvage it and sell the components .. i do that sort of things. Others are good at this .. they analyze , watch the market closely .. check the stats but it’s not my thing ….

im still at 77% wold completion … but when i finished my story by killing Zaitan on the flying fortress there was a POI named ‘’ Zaitan lair’s ’’ or something like that far beyond the border of my instance ( red zone ) how do you supose to cap that one ??

Sorry about my reply , I thought you knew that your CPU was overclocked. Overclocking a CPU : it mean that the CPU is running above the specified spec of the manufacturer ….. while it is a common practice for hardware enthusiastic and gamers It also involve a better cooling solution , higher voltage applied to the CPU ..etc…etc.

Certain Vendors will sell such ‘’ Overclocked ’’ systems .. but each system is different and really need to be tested extensively for stability. Guild Wars 2 is highly CPU bound and if your CPU is unstable .. how do you really know what is the problem ? Gw2 or your system ?? Skyrim is the opposite … more GPU bound and less than Guild Wars 2 on the CPU …..

The trader sold you a PC without telling you that it is overclocked or written words .. or any warning ??? not cool ! This system is possibly not stable for this very particular game only … overclocking is a hobby and it is a long process to obtain perfect stability … you just can’t assemble 10 PCs with the exact same components and obtain the same overclocked results … it don’t work that way.

stop the overclock on the CPU at 4Ghz …. the stock speed is 3.6 ..Turbo mode on the FX-4100 runs at just 3.7 (4 cores at load) or 3.8 GHz (2 cores at load)

sorry but , try the game at stock speed before complaining

i agree that bulldozer is not that great … i have good results with my AMD 1090T OC at 4Ghz and in worst case scenarios ( wvw ) i get 25-30 FPS …best is 125 FPS it’s is very acceptable. If Piledriver is compatible with AM3+ and i have a 10-20 % increase in perf over my 1090T i might just update my CPU ….

Im currently do not have the money to update the Mobo + INTEL CPU + more RAM and im sure im not the only one in this case .. let’s say that if i have a 15 % increase for a 250 $ upgrade ill be very happy because a Intel setup cost way more …

looking at the benchmark posted above .. look like the best AMD Piledriver is sitting between the i7 2600k and I7 3770 .. not bad .. i bet the price will be lower than intel .. could be a good bargain if you only need to update the CPU
