As soon as I get to play as a Skritt… and steal everyone’s shinies.

So, I get what everyone is saying about the unlocks, I didn’t think about that.

It’s just when [Bonetti’s Reaper] dropped for me I should have been excited. Instead, all I felt was disappointment and that really sucks.

To TheBlackLeech.9360, I bought an incorrect amulet with laurels once and man did that hurt. It sucks making a mistake and not being able to do anything about it.

It would be nice if we could return items bought with Karma/Dungeon tokens within 24hrs of purchase.

For example, I recently spent 300 Arah tokens on [Sword of the Dragon’s Deep] for the stats, not the skin. Less than two hours later [Bonetti’s Reaper] dropped. Same stats, don’t care about the skin.
I wouldn’t normally care, but I also want to get [Trappings of the Lich], for the skin not the stats. These cost another 300 Arah tokens. If I had 24hrs to return an item, this would be so much better and a QoL improvement.

I’m going to have to side with believe.6514 on this one, it is a pretty mean thing to do.

HOWEVER, it will always happen in video games. Some people play the TP/Auction House as their version of the game, because that is fun for them. It’s like playing the stock market without the risk. This version of fun for them, opposes your version of fun, but you can’t infringe on their fun either.

Ultimately, Anet will never do anything about it because if you really want that item, Real money -> Gems -> Gold, and this supports Anet.

Supply and demand. They hype up demand, by not having supply.

Bunny ears are going to sell like hotcakes when they come back.

If unfog wasn’t also tied to experience, that’d be a decent option. It’d also make skill point/hero challenge running much simpler for those who have several alts.

They could maybe shift the unfog exp into hearts, WPs etc. I haven’t done a map in a while so I’m not sure really how big the exp gains from unfog are.

OP wants to make it so when you buy and learn a recipe it works across characters.
Think of the recipes that are like for Armorsmith, Leatherworker or Tailor.

Instead of buying three (one for each craft), you can buy one and it unlocks the recipe for all the alts on the account.

It’s actually a good idea, but I doubt it will happen.

To the OP. When I came back to the game the exact thing happened to me, I didn’t even know what I was doing wrong and they didn’t bother to tell me. Just raged on me.

Why does every one think “female clothing” = “skimpy, highly sexualised”. We aren’t asking for half naked Asura, we are asking not to wear male clothing.

the breast for asura were not placed on the females due to a short child like race or child looking race with breast . type thing. and Charr lore wise do have breast they are multi breast like Cats fill out only when pregnant there or if want to get that multi breast to work with armor. have the top set of breast be the main pair and thus bigish middle pair probly slightly smaller and the third pair or what ever be flat aginst the chest or belly. OR do what the artist of charr did in designing I think she or he said “they will have multi breast in model or none at all” and thus we get the flat chest model.

See an Asuran in a dress, unfortunately one of the few dresses and Asuran can wear. This is what we are talking about. (Same goes for Charr)

This also proves that female Asuran can wear dresses. Anet is just being lazy.

I know this is an old thread, but I have been thinking about this a lot recently.

The fact that there ARE female clothing options for Asura and Charr is proof that female clothing can work on all models.
Anet CAN make female clothing for these models, they just chose not to.
This is nothing more than laziness/cutting corners by Anet, and this is why we are upset.

As such, I will not be buying HoT or Gems until this is fixed, which is to say I am done spending money on an incomplete game, because I doubt this will ever change.

People complained that we couldn’t jump in GW1, so this is how Anet stuck it to us.

I’d pay Anet to make proper clothing for female Asura and Charr, and ask them to stop cutting corners. So sick of my Asura wearing male clothing.

I joined a 50% SW map, they were taxi-ing people in for Breach and VW. When VW started a Commander started a chest train and VW failed horribly. Nothing like having all that work go to waste.

I have a solution for those of you the want a class filter for LFG.

When GW2 first came out we didn’t have a LFG tool, because of this a website was created that worked as a LFG. I don’t remember the name of the website, but you would go there and find the group you wanted, whisper the party and get invited to the group. It worked rather well and could easily be adapted to what you are looking for.

You can name it GW2Elites.com or some such.

Bottom line is this will probably never be added to the game because it will divide the player base. What you do outside the game does not matter.

There is your solution. I’m sure you will complain that this solution requires an extra step and blah blah, woof woof, but if you really want this “feature”, there it is. I’m also sure you will say this discriminates the “elite” players, but if you don’t care about discriminating classes, why should I care about discriminating you?

Edit: Found the website http://gw2lfg.com/ Make and use something like that. Require some sort of registration and a listing of gear/stats/experience, so that people can be verified.

BOOM, done.

All that time you sit there waiting to find that one 5k AP, Zerker, Experienced player could have been spent with someone else and the dungeon would be done.

I will NEVER join a group that is looking for a certain player, although I fit your dumb requirements.

I’m pretty sure the devs have never given out a communicate in which they describe the “spirit of GW2”. This is just your opinion. Stop stating it as fact.

I can learn to play with everyone, I choose not to because I value my own time and well being. This is a choice and it’s within my rights as a player to make.

Just because you’d consider it nice if everyone could play with everyone doesn’t make it mandatory.

Hello there, I am a returning player looking for a guild to call home. I have a level 80 Female Asuran Ele named Fiddlestyx as my main, I do have other characters but I do not play them as much.

-About me: 35 Male full time college student. I am from south Texas. I play mostly on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (8am – 5pm central time, sometimes more), although I am on almost every day.
- Region: NA
- Server: Tarnished Coast
- Playstyle: PvE / RP
- Guild type: Casual
-Gaming past: I played WoW for over four years on an RP server. I was in an RP guild and I was also a raid leader (I enjoyed leading a lot).

*What I am looking for: *
-I would like a guild that does Guild Missions on Fri, Sat, or Sun. I have never done Guild missions before.
-I would prefer a smallish guild. I would like to get to know everyone in the guild and be friends (this is hard to do in a guild with 100s of people).
-RP is a plus, but not necessary.
-A guild that has Vent or some sort of VoIP for dungeons would be nice.
-I would like to have the opportunity to rise in the ranks of the guild and not be just another body.
-Exp dungeons (I need to do these and learn the fights)

*What I am NOT looking for: *
-Min/Maxer
-Speed runs
-PVP
-I play GW2 for fun. I will not play meta, unless I WANT to. I will not link my gear/build. I am looking for fun. Having said that, I run a “glass canon” Ele and normally the last to fall in a wipe.

I think now that people are quitting again, the problem will sort itself out. Of course they will be back when the next part of Living story comes out. Then they’ll quit and come back, quit and come back… such is the way of F2P games.

In WoW (I know you all hate WoW) you have 2hrs to return a soulbound item to a vendor for a full refund (things not bought with gold). It works quite well.

Farm meta events (dragons etc) like everyone else.

The mini games were just a tactic used to sell the game.

The gate to polymock has always been there.

It was smooth aside from the TP not working.
Since then, lag and culling have got worse, instead of better.
