Yes, no nerfs to meta PvE and I UF change will make me continue to use my Warrior in WvW.

I will want to find a new profession for PvP though, using Skull crack/100B as all I do is hotjoin and it’s fun to identify the bads. I don’t want to be funneled into S/S LB, but a sudden reduction in the number of HamBows will definitely make up for it.

Stability is anywhere from best to last, depending on encounters so I won’t rank it.

If you WvW and run into an entire field of Warriors and Guardians and still don’t think those two classes could do with some adjustment … we know what class you play. It is so OP it is becoming the zerg meta in WvW to the point of being ridiculous.

That’s because bads don’t run Stability, which pretty much make Warriors king, and people play Guardian ’cause “lol staff 1 tagfest”.

The HP pools are how they are because the lower HP professions have access to more mitigation/avoidance.

Guardians for one have EASY perma vigor, aegis, and lots of protection.
Ele’s have incredible amounts of invulnerability, protection, regen, vigor and all boons across the board in general (sure Ele’s are broken, but that’s not because of the HP pool).
Thieves have ridiculous level of blind, and a huge access to skills that double as a dodge, aswell as Feline Grace trait which essentially means 100% endurance = 3 dodges.
Warriors? Oh yeah, they have … umm. Vigor on Warhorn? Darn, what else is there … Oh yes, yes! A blind on the longbow! Now where can I get protection …

Condition just isn’t a good choice in PvE, especially a Mesmer’s, given the “main” condition being confusing – horrible for PvE – and the rest are random.

As you don’t like it, if they ask, tell them no. If they do it anyway, kick them while logging.

Make me laugh at all the FOTM players who reroll, and then continue to hit things with my hammer.

It carries no footfalls on land, and the on-crit animation doesn’t work on land as you obviously are not using the spear.

The only “symbol” of it on land is the potential to “bug out” the aura, which is the aura in the picture attached (Kraitkin’s aura is also the same). Bearing in mind, keeping the auras is and can be fixed by AN at any point.

I’m not sure how skills work on Necro, but even when underwater a lot of the professions do not get the on-crit animation on their attacks. I know for a fact the Mesmer only gets it on their #2 skill, and I’m almost certain the Guardian only has it on their #2 skill also. I can’t speak for Necros as I never placed it on there to check, but I would be surprised if all their skills give the shark effect.

Hammer auto attack chain needs to have a blast finisher too.

I’ve never understood why people try to gamble for their precursor. So many horror stories on the forum, where people throw in the cost of the precursor and get nothing to show for it, with someone only coming out on top once in a blue moon.

Yet people still do it and complain, I laugh.

My best drop ever was my beloved Mini, Mr Fahrenheit, on my first run of Molten Foundry. Of course, he wasn’t sold, so it’s hardly contributed to anything.

Apart from that, I’ve had maybe 2 drops worth over 10g, the highest being 15g.

Look at the picture below, and tell me again you need good RNG to get nice things.

RNG is RNG, if you don’t like it, don’t participate in it.

It’s not even a contest. Do you want to be forced to use T3 like everybody else and their nan, because your Charr or Norn has ugly, stretched armor, or your Asura has misfitting, shrunk armor with invisible details, or do you want armor designed to fit?

Considering a lot of GW2 is about cosmetics, it’s a Hobson’s choice.

Agreed 0/10/30/0/30 is probably the best hammer trait set up. I got a 0/10/30/0/30 Hammer/Sw-SH build with a mix of kinghts pvt armor (melandru runes) with cavalier/zerker trinkets. Very tough, great in small groups or zergs, very strong burst damage, decent mobility. Not so great 1v1 against certain classes with certain builds. I swap shield for warhorn so that the lemmings can keep up (why can they trait their own movement speed?) but once I get close to the fight I switch back to shield.

Warhorn is pretty handy for removing the cripple/immob/chilled when you’re getting out of dodge. Call to arms helps with the might stacks when stacking too.

How you can get bombed by 100B when his only stun would have been BRush is beyond me.

He was probably running a bog standard 30/25/0/0/15 PvE build if he burst you down as quick as you’re claiming., with you not stunbreaking/removing Pin Down every 25seconds.

Unless you’re some sort of superhuman who wants to skip dinner, Zerker is the way to play.

Their “awesome” tanky builds allow them to be lazy and not dodge, but make each boss take about 10 minutes longer.

Forgot to mention all I do is unorganised zerging, editted into top post.

EDIT: Revised to this after below suggestions. Why I picked Soldiers weapons I don’t know, I’m over the 2.8k armor suggestion, but that’s a moot point.

Unsure of what utilities/firsts 2 disc traits I should be using. Signet Mastery is striking to me, as I run SOR and Dolyak, but everybody seems to be using Warrior’s Sprint. Suggestions?

No. No it isn’t. Longbow gives more damage & utility than a rifle when ranged is needed (is it ever needed?). Rifle is junk, let it sit in your bags and rot.

This is definitely the best way to use a rifle.

If I’m understanding the predicament correctly, a Black Lion Salvage Kit is your answer. 100% chance to redeem the upgrade (rune in this case) on salvage.

Transmuting won’t give you the rune back, only put it on another piece of gear.

I think a Transmutation Splitter may work if your item is transmuted. I remember splitting my Predator and getting the Force sigil back, but someone will need to confirm this (this is just an alternate option, BLSK will be MUCH more cost effective).

For a lot of people, the fun is the reward, not how any reward is attained. This is why a lot of players drag themselves through hours of these tedious tasks just to get 5 minutes of opening loot – glad I don’t fit in here.

Nobody can fool a soul by claiming champion farming is fun, but opening all those boxes after a session? That’s bound to be fun.

GS has pretty horrible auto attack damage. that’s why it’s only a secondary weapon. The 15-point minor is Discipline (Fast hands) reduces your weapon swap cooldown to 5s – approximately the time for a 100B & Whirling Attack.

With that trait, there is simply no reason not to use superior auto attack damage that an Axe/X brings as a swap rather than auto attacking with GS for the next 6 seconds.

The only real thing that should get changed is your offhand. Mace is almost objectively the most useful (Vuln & conal knockdown) but some fights (Bloomhunger, for example) a Warhorn should be used, or an Offhand Sword for Lupi.

Karma pretty much needed a nerf across the board, but this is now insulting. I think since the update I’ve made no more than 100k karma.

Explain to my why any karma source was removed from dungeons, it forces PvE players to zerg up around CS and farm events or go WvW (where if you’re a Gandaran like me, up against VZ this week, it’s not gonna happen). Should have just turned the drops into drips…

It’s like it doesn’t matter Karma items are no longer affected by consumables or boosts, because you don’t kitten get any regardless.

You don’t run a build for one specific boss.

In PvE, your build should always be based around your melee weapons, switching out one of your melee weapons to a ranged option for particularly bad PUGs, or scenarios like yours where it can be very difficult to Melee.

There’s no point making your ranged option good, when your melee option would still be better.

The rifle should never exist in a PvE environment.

I’m not much of a WvWer so I can’t really say, but 0/20/0/10/30 would seem logical to me. Crack Shot & Kill Shot spam, with Leg specialist. 10 points spare. I’d probably put them into Dogged March.

Either Grenadier Engineer to keep 25 Vuln, or a Sword/Warhorn Ranger. Depends what you find more fun, as both are good.
