We all talked in TS about TC taking over our borderlands, but decided that defending Hills was better use of time. My favorite moment was “How many FA at north gate?” “Um… all of them?”
RET has pro-tactics and earned much respect tonight. How about the epic underwater golem fight?
LOL that large scale underwater fight with golems was a first for me and the land fight that followed was really spectacular. I think I racked up 30 kills in less than an hour and nearly 120 kills today. Finally got over the 6k mark
You guys kept pushing up the hill over and over only to meet a wall of pain. I’ll post a video of it soon
This week is going to be a nail biter and i have a feeling its going to be close right down to the end.
Kaineng seemed to be focused on FA BL this evening along with TC, but TC abandoned our BL and stormed Kains. It was kinda funny to watch Kains BL turn red over the course of an hour due to Pink and company.
Increased size of battlefields will also create a balancing of sorts. If all forces are concentrated in one area, its hard protect all your keeps, camps and towers.
I feel that this group needs special protection since they don’t have an arena to do these things currently.
These guys generally have a very high skill level and deserve to be respected just like everybody else. Zergs should find other zergs to fight, not disrupt small groups having honorable battles.
This is a tpvp or spvp thread from the looks of it. I became frustrated with this style of pvp and switched to wvw. I have never looked back and I would say that I enjoy my warrior a lot more in that setting.
The hardest counter to warriors right now are conditions. Unless they are specced to remove conditions constantly, this will be your undoing. I believe the devs are looking to tweak the warrior to survive more conditions but the fear is that if their main weakness is removed, you may end up with an unstoppable juggernaut.

TC Borderlands were awesome tonight. I was there for the amazing double defense of Hills and survived somehow!

I don’t know if we were talking about the same attack, but I have to say FA pulled some great tactics to beat the part of TC’s attack that I was a part of. Like one where we were attacking inner gate, FA jumped off the wall to the south, drawing us south from the gate, then portaled part of the group back to the gate to surround us.
Well played! It’s more fun to execute these strategies than be on the receiving end, but I still have to admire a thing of beauty.
I ended up having my own battle on the fringes of the main fight so its hard to say if I was there for the fight you encountered. Nevertheless I had a blast and could have stayed up all night fighting. Thankfully I got off and had some sleep before work today.
As a member of the TC Dolyak Protection Society (TCDPS) – I fully support any efforts to annihilate anyone who harms, who willing facilitates the harm of, or does not report the harm of Dolyaks. However, if it was an RP person dressed as an Yak – well, I don’t judge, just sayin’.

In game I don’t see that as an issue, I’ve had all sorts of good experiences with FA. The level of coordination is minimal besides “don’t attack each others holdings on their side of the map” plus it allows all 3 servers to play for first.
I’ve never really understood why its so hard for the two underdogs in a match to focus the leader, especially when that strategy could give either the win. I understand its different when the coverage is so vastly unbalanced that you’re still playing for 2nd regardless, but it seems ridiculous not to play for 1st in this (awesome) matchup.
As a bonus it might help heal some troll wounds and I’m certain Kain wants us to bring it, they never shy from a fight.
Another reason to attack Kain is so they don’t leave tier 2. Id prefer to keep things as they are for a while since we match up very well.

My cookies are made to spread joy and sportsmanship, and a little silliness. People trying to get into my cookie jar who aren’t like this will likely find their fingers nibbled off.
That said, we all knew that the match between FA and TC would have it’s “moments” … we managed to do ok in the BG/TC/FA match, would love to see that make a comeback so we can show our Kaineng friends just what good people we have on ALL servers. I kind of feel badly for the Kain folks having to witness our, uh, history. No wonder they are silent, for the most part, in this thread.
If you find yourself writing a short novella in response to something someone posted here, I urge you to hit “cancel” and go take your dog for a walk instead. You can only get dirty if you fall down into the muck yourself. Let the trolls troll, and just be the best representative of your server you possibly can be. Why are people fighting about their position in tier 2?
Isn’t tier two the sexiest tier of them all?
Even if FA gets third place for the next month, we will still be in tier 2 until a strong tier 3 server pushes up. I hope folks aren’t burning themselves out on the forum trolling too early. There will be TONS of time to rub noses in bad fights.
On a lighter note, I am excited to rejoin wvw for this upcoming week and wish everybody a happy St. Patricks day this weekend. I can assume that all australians will be intoxicated and hungover while playing this weekend since this is also known as national binge drinking day.

I would pay the 40 gold or $20 to transfer to another wvw server. Other online games cost around $15 per month which can cost you $180 per year. For the low cost of $20 you can essentially fix the problem of not enjoying wvw. Don’t be the last rat off a sinking ship.
Actually, alot of guilds decided if we got a good lead (20-30k) alot of us would PvE. We’re taking it easy till FA starts to catch up then alot of us (RISE), WM, CO, and KO will come in and take care of the situation. xD
FA and K-Town couldn’t be two worlds more apart.
No offense but I’ve been here 2 months since the IoJ implosion and the community on this server can’t get enough pvp. They never need a break, you see the same people out every night for hours on end. They care only for points to stay in a high enough tier to have fun battles. They crave to be out numbered or at least only even numbers when going head to head. This seems to be the attitude of 85% of w3’ers on the server.
When my old guild went to K-Town and my long term mmo buddies (now living in a different region) went to FA I had the choice of moving to the bandwagon server or the hardcore but under populated pvp server.
Boy did I make the right decision. The PvP server is so much fun!
Ps: Jayne, Internet not even ordered yet. Told the misses today that she has to order it by Monday or I’m buying a one way ticket back to Australia. (I live in Mexico on a tourist visa and am not able to order it). I can go back to my in-laws to play but not much.

Does TC have time to bump SoS out of T2? T3-4 will be a better barometer of where we stand anyway. Rebuild time!
If this is one of my last posts in T2 for a while, I’d like to tip my helm to all the guilds on Kain and FA. You guys have all been fun to fight and never showed signs of quit. T1 has nothing on T2 just better coverage. With the exception of a few guilds (Choo, EMP, TW) in T1, the guilds we’ve seen here are just as good or better in open field combat. Hope you all stay frosty and keep Tier 2 fun and friendly.

It does seem that DB and YB are done this week. They probably want TC to move on as quickly as possible. I am not sure how you guys are feeling over in SoS. If you guys decide to throw the match then there is a high chance that you would be in T3 next week. So its up to you. ^^
Kain and FA are playing great this match, there are some terrific , fun battles.
I also have a sneaking suspicion that both servers are being a little kind to SoS in their target selection processes. ( Thank you)
I do hope that the current population of SoS is not misleading either server into thinking they should face down the monster servers of T1, right now.
Skill, good humor and planning does not beat massive 24/7 raw numbers. I am sure that either Kain or FA would win many fights but I suggest recruitment to plug all coverage holes before entering T1 may be a wiser long term choice.

you may want to talk to your player about appearing on top of walls without portals or gates/walls being down.
Judging by the wooden walls and lack of siege/supply, it looks like you took this tower pretty recently.
And from this video, it looks like that player is running over from the ledge behind the lords room. It seems likely that when you took it, he hid on that little wooden ledge near the cliff side below the lord room and came running out there.

Mag is a pretty friendly server so I don’t know why we get a bad rep! We are also honest, so I guess that’s a negative.
Honestly most of the people on the forums are the look at my shiny stick type. They like to burn other peoples stick to make their stick look better when everyone has the same stick. (to make this clear a stick from a tree not the perverted stick) Each sever has the people who can take on 5 times their numbers and those that cant take out a person with 5 people. Some are nice but people come to the forums to rub things in peoples faces.

I’m hard wired to kill yaks, it was an inevitable event. Just because TC is in to cross species dressing, doesn’t mean I hate them. I just wish they would do it behind closed doors.
This hammer using Warrior managed to get on top of a keep without the use of portals and without the gates being down. Unfortunately the camera angle missed his movement to the top of the wall.
SOS will be a powerful opponent for tier 3. Mag and DB will certainly have their hands full if SOS drops down on Friday next week.
When TC moves back to tier 2 (this will happen 100% guaranteed) it will be a blockbuster event. I still predict a third place finish next to TC and Kain but perhaps it will be proven otherwise.
Its good to see everybody so pumped up for a reunion of these battle hungry servers!
I think FA will ride the tier 2 roller coaster for a while until we get stronger in our weak time zones. Once TC rejoins tier 2 I could see us taking more 3rd place finishes. Last time we faced TC we couldn’t beat them.
