As I’ve said, that’ll be happening in coming patches.I think people REALLY overestimate the power of 100b. I did some calculations earlier to see just how powerful it is in relation to the GS auto attack.
100b has a total base damage of 4730 over the course of 3.5 seconds.
The GS auto attack chain has a total base damage of 1948 over 1.5 seconds.Now since 3.5/1.5 = 2.33, you should be able to deal out 2.33 auto attack chains in the same time it takes to finish a 100b. Now, 1948(2.33) = about 4539. GS auto attacks should deal 4539 total base damage in the time it takes 100b to deal 4730. 4539/4730 = about 0.96 . This would mean that GS auto attack has 96% of 100b’s base damage while allowing you to move.
Now, I could be wrong and somebody check my calculations but doesnt seem like 100b is terribly OP :/
If you can land a FULL 100b it does some pretty decent damage, but the most difficult part is keeping someone still for the entire animation.
The only place that i find it really does well is in large fights where you can hit multiple targets at once, but then you are super deep in enemy territory and it can be hard to escape.
Maybe a little late? Idk but stop replying to FA’s 2v1 accusations. Can’t you see what they are doing there? Theyre trying to make both KN and TC fight each other and we are doing just that to defend ourselves from their accusations. I say, if these 2v1 accusations don’t stop, we might as well do what the accuser says.

Pretty pathetic that Kaineng and TC have to gang up FA :P They must be pretty bad if they have to combine forces to fight one server. Or maybe we’re just so good that they need to combine their efforts to take us out. Just a thought….. does make you guys seem very weak though…..

Yes, of course. After all, FA is better than KN/TC combined.
That’s nice of you to say but it can’t be true.
If you want to counter a zerg there are ways to do it.
One of their greatest weaknesses is their visual signature on the map. They are a giant mass of flesh that should be easily scouted. This allows the defenders time to get to towers and keeps for defence. Due to the size of the map however, your time to mobilize a defence is probably under 2 minutes.
So how does a greatly outnumbered group hold off the zerg? Well they should start with sufficient defensive siege at all their keeps and towers. 10 defenders at the helm of that siege stand a good chance of holding them back. This of course doesn’t guarantee success however since you will still need folks flipping camps and taking supply to keep your walls repaired and to replace destroyed siege equipment. It does greatly reduce the immediate impact a horde has on a borderland.
You will also notice that a lot of these massive groups have a portion of low level or weak characters that are new to wvw. They hide in large groups for safety so size does not always equal power.
I think the game is going through another evolution in wvw at the moment and will need some fresh eyes to see what can counter these blob strategies.

Freakin bloodbath in KNBL last night. You guys need to pan your cameras more often. Not fun when our strategy goes to waste because ppl aren’t even paying attention. You can tell which guilds hid behind the veil of culling very easily. Adjust and bring your A-game next time
All trolling aside, because it seems that’s what BT truly enjoys doing on the forums, you claiming that your strategy is the only reason for your success isn’t true. I will not take away from the fact that I was impressed at times last night with some of your tactics, but you had a clear 20-30 person numbers advantage in almost every fight.
It makes things easier when your can field 60-80 from one guild.
All hatred aside, good fights. The map was even for the majority of night and we controlled a large portion of the PPT for a large portion of the night.
Good luck this week, and continue bringing the fights, but remember needlessly fighting over Garrison after we lured you there, while the remainder of the map is completely blue for 2-3 ticks… Isn’t good strategy.
I’ve got video that proves quite the opposite. Numbers were very even between FA and TC at times, but for the most part TC had a larger force on the field. I’ll do what I can to post it this week just so folks don’t get the wrong idea.
The fight that really showed the character of BT is at the Bay where both Kain and TC fell to them. I’m not saying it was an easy fight because for the people that were there, they know it wasn’t, but you really have to tip your hat to some of these events.
Edit: just so I don’t give BT all the credit, there were a lot if other guilds contributing to the battle in that BL. Everybody played phenomenally last night.

I don’t know if anybody has noticed, but TC asks all low level people who have 0 clue about WVW to join their ranks as they throw their unarmoured bodies against the ready and waiting spears of Kain. It is truly a gross abuse of the naive.
