As i was about to do my daily recommanded fractals. i found this….“thing”. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or done Intentionally by someone / some people (with a third party).
That’s a personal question and there for you would have to experiment with it yourself. However since you asked for the communities opinion, i can give you mine
For PvE:
- Open world: Daredevil, Dragonhunter
- Dungeons/fractals: Dragonhunter, Chronomancer
- Raids: Chronomancer
WvW:
- Zerg: Chronomancer, Reaper, Guardian
- Roaming: Dragonhunter, Chronomancer, Berserker, Daredevil
PvP:
- Conquest solo queue: Dragonhunter, Berserker, Reaper
- Conquest group queue: Chronomancer, Daredevil
Actually guardians can “gaurd”. For starters its not a healer. So in that sense you have to look in he supporting factor if you think about guarding. Translating that into gw2, we’re basically talking about utility. Think about (certain) boons, condi removal. Projectile block, cc and such. If you look at these things, then you’ll notice that guardian is indeed capable of doing so. Maybe not the best in class, but it is there
…unless you’re one of those people that copy-paste a build from like meta battle, without actually understanding the class… No, prefer versitality and swap things around depending on the situation at that given time. Doing so i feel oftenly that guardian is pretty similiar to chronomancer. Except that the utility/support is weaker, with higher dps ofc.
Additionally, i am personally perfectly fine having guardian as a pure dps class. Perhaps you should see it more as a title rather then actually name/class or something… if that makes sense
TL;DR Ep.5 delayed
Thanks for the heads-up. Can you give us an estimated time perhaps?
I kinda like the idea, to keep people in there. Perhaps as a farm, but in practice it wont / will barely help unfortunatly. Here is why: For starters there is the scale 100cm. Guilds or pugs (lfg) do this everyday regardless if it is daily or not. There is also the molten boss farm at scale 40. Fastest and most rewarding scale if we consider time/effort ratio. And finelly people that just do their daily (and recommanded).
Personally i think the “problem” is rewards themselfs. As someone that does fractals on a daily base, i already have my ascended gearing, infusions, and potions. My tokens are stacking up quite heavily, and there is just nothing i can use them for. It would be nice if i could turn them into gold somehow. Like with dungeons and how you can buy and salvage equipment and sell the insignia/inscription as well as other mats that come out of it. Or throw them into MF.
(Btw, i think this topic should be moved to “Dungeons, fractals and raids” no?)
First of all, not taking banner “just becouse its too many” is like saying you dont use (some of) your skills couse its too far away from your hand to reach. Shortly put it doesnt make sense. If you take it, you know its there, you know its going to last for about 15min if not more. If you worry about wearing it out couse you cant see it, you can always go back and interact with it every 15min or so.
Second, you do realize that you can change your UI right? as such you can minimize the map, Place the map on right top of your screen by simply dragging it. OR shrink the size of your ui entirely at options.
Edit: also the game is based on average user that has 1920×1080 resolution. Devs cant impossibly keep every resolution in mind and adjust the UI according to that
(edited by GWMO.4785)
4 Kids in 8 years. Boy you have been busy haven’t ya wink wink. Congratulations tho
common sense says around average patch time which is about ~6 hours from now
from left to right: surprised, point, (not sure), dance. Al tough i’m pretty sure some dev tools are in play here as well. Otherwise its kinda hard to capture “this exact moment”. That is if that was intended ofc.
This item is for sale now for 125gems. Which comes down to about 32gold as we speak. …Why even? most runes and sigils are less than 15g. (a little early for Aprils fool joke no ANet? :P)
So.. instead why doesn’t this item become a permanent thing? In exchange it could be a lot more expansive ofc. Perhaps something down the line with copper or silver salvage kit. That would be a lot more interesting for people with expansive upgrades or use same gear stats with different upgrades. As example people with legendary equipment.
http://tinyurl.com/gw2-dh-radiance
This will do the most damage, you can change scepter for sword if you prefer that. Torch can be replaced too for focus, but replace radiance traitline for virtues and take “unscathed contender”, “absolute resolution” and “indomitable courage” traits then. Or if like to run scepter/sword-x you can replace “zealous blade” for “kindled zeal” in zeal traitline.
Here ya go
Is full sinister heavy gear worth crafting?
It’s nice if you want to burn stuff but you can probably get more mileage going for viper stats as burning does not last very long. I went for sinister as when i crafted it back when silverwastes was released it was the cheapest condi ascended set to go for.
You actually can get perma burning with mostly sinister stats. I have posted a burn core guardian build earlier in here. you might want to look at that. As i said it isn’t the strongest condition build in the game, but it is viable
Try this? It doesn’t relly on on the expansive bountiful sharpening stones nor the concentration sigil. Just base 20% boon duration food. Like Chocolate Omnomberry Creams. which are just like ~6,5s.
Celestial is still good for WvW (it’s like drugs for eles), just not for Mesmer.
Celestial was actually removed from sPvP due to it being stupidly overpowered, so lackluster is a misleading term to be using.
lackluster might have been misleading. But likewise i wouldn’t use overpowered either. I remember when i fought Cele eles in pvp/1vs1’s, all they did was basically just stalling. It took forever for them to leave a cap point or get downed. But likewise they did not deal much damage either.
So for that boring long gamplay reasons Anet removed the tanky amulets. The ones that remain don’t have toughness, vitality and healingpower paired up.
I made an comparison for ya. Check attachment.
If you play in leroy style then Doly Signet is better duo to its passive 180 toughness. That comes with a stunbreak on activation. However if you are more experienced and can engage more carefully then balance stance will superior (consider Last stand trait in Defence).
Regardless with Berserker spec you have access to Outrage which is superior above the other two skills duo to its super low cooldown. So that is recommended
Celestial WAS good for wvw/pvp scenarios for certain builds/classes. After HoT everything became pretty much a powercreep so celestial is no longer a thing. It has a bit of everything but your stats will be too low to be actually effective. So basically a lackluster
There are several builds you can use in pve. Depending on what you like or where you are, you can also make minor adjustments to it:
http://tinyurl.com/gw2-dh-radiance

http://tinyurl.com/gw2-dh-hammer-support
This is more for high tier fracs and raids. The goal is to have perma protection uptime so your party/squad has an easier time in encounters. But does a good job on other pve content too. Besides who doesnt like to banish a foe? :p
http://tinyurl.com/gw2-guard-burn
This is something i came up myself, but its pretty similiar to what you have. Except mine has superior burning uptime. Not the best condi build you will find in the game, but it is viable. And it is also nice to have a change once in a while imo.
Lastly, if you play the class in open world too, maybe you want to consider having a staff or traveler runes too. Anyways, this should get you going. Have fun o/
(edited by GWMO.4785)
It’s because u have a 1000 power dmg baseline, just like u have 1000 toughness, and vitality. But with condition dmg u have 0 baseline. That’s why the numeric value is lower.
^ This.
Starting from 1600 (decent) all the way up to ~2200 (max?) is the condi stat you want to aim for. But don’t forget 100% duration ofc.
How about something new….Mini Shatterer!
This very much! …And Scarlet’s Spaulders/Grasp
Don’t like em? Don’t join a group that demands it. Freedom of association works both ways.
Yes and no… you see there would be a difference if you could block it. In such case people would ask that information beforehand. And if you don’t provide it. you would get kicked or leave yourself. As where now they just “check it” and kick or ask to leave while you’re already in there. Or perhaps mid fight even. So yes it doesn’t solve the issue, but it contributes to minimize it
Some of the current legit dps meters out there do estimate the dps of the party or squad members. But these are not (always) accurate. Especially on condi builds. However there is one that can link with each other IF everyone uses the same meter. I believe it was BGDM. Not sure on that one. Don’t use it myself …or any meter for that matter.
That being said. I do agree on the part where players should be able to block the information that he or she wants. Beside the fact that it helps groups to improve it also creates toxicity as @OP mentioned. Don’t get me wrong, i don’t say that people shouldn’t use it. But likewise it also needs to be contained and somehow kept under control in my believes.
[Sorta offtopic]Additionally, now that DPS meters have been approved under certain restrictions. Does ANet have any plans on implementing a dps meter themselves? Has there anything been spoken/written about such a thing? (would love to hear a official response from dev’s here)
we’re getting 4 hair updates every year.. sheesh.. why do you want so many more? can’t we have something else for a change?
Really? Becouse last time i checked ANet just made some excisting hairstyles available for other races. I dont see how that is new. Regardless it is acceptable i geus ….Although on a second tought… The styles for asura and charr where simply terrible. Esspecially for males. Pretty sure most people would agree here.
i would like some LONG hair options for female asura like what human has.
I’ve been asking for these for a while now.
I second that. But i wish to see them on males too. Like the ssj3 kinda thing from DBZ :p
Medi trapper does a pretty good job here actually. The trick however is to cc it accordingly. Dont just radomly spam all your cc’s at once. Shield and Dragon’s maw are recommanded. Do that and the rest is just keep applying pressure with your sword and bow. Basically a 3 step way: interupt → damage → repeat.
Things you want to look out for mainly is the celestial form. Interupt that asap. Also the warden wall that commes from the staff. Or w/e its called. Dont shoot through that. It will heal him. If he does that, try to land an aoe field on it. Or force him away from it, Cause they ussually (try to) kite you around that wall. Some people seem to have a hard time with the damage comming from the pet. But i personally dont have trouble with that. So i just ignore the pet.
(edited by GWMO.4785)
Sounds like a L2P issue … No seriously, assuming you mean roaming in wvw, so i’ll base my comment on that perspective. (From reading the posts here i actually think you confuse leaping with teleporting skills btw. But w/e).
For starters my roaming setup looks like this: http://tinyurl.com/War-power-wvwr Pretty standard build. Note that i only have my gs’s whirl and rush as movement skills. Which is more then enough really. In most cases i use my whirl to evade and counter attack my enemy. As where the rush is basically my get away skill. Dont spam them. Keep it for when you need it. Bladetrail to keep them crippled. That is the one you want to spam. Mobility is key. Also save hundred blades for when you have cc’d your enemy.
As for enemies that also have leap / teleport / high or alot of movement skills… All i can say here is to not to chase them. They can disengage heal and then re’engage sure, but so will you with your adrenal healing. When it comes to ranged attacking enemies. Well we got an answer for that too. You either take mace/shield and trait reflects with blocking in defense line (recommanded), and/or you equip rifle or bow depending if you play power or condi build.
And that is pretty much all there is to it. Happy hunting
Of course a build that uses the UBER EXPENSIVE perplexity runes. They just need a nerf and other runes would be just as useful.
They are less than 5g per piece, so hardly expensive. Personally, though, since I don’t use Chrono I am relegated to Travelers.
They are about 4g and 80s at the moment. You can get them for cheaper: above 3g and 33s as we speak. However i don’t remember saying that you SHOULD use these runes. I just chose for it myself back then. There are other alternatives if you like. I actually plan on swapping to Nightmare runes once i get my full Trailblazer set. Duo to the fact that i use my gear in pve too. (with other trait and skill setup ofc)
Reason why condi works so well is because…well it’s condi. Enemy keeps getting damage cause of the lasting condition applied to him which makes kiting easier. Thus you don’t have to be on their face all the time aka better surviving. Doing so it pairs really well with toughness and/or vitality. Which makes it even more ridiculous.
I for one am pretty much in similar position as you are. Don’t like to play condition builds but it works so i use it. However unlike you i do have a few changes. For instance my setups is a mix of Dire/Trailblazer. This mostly because Dire is super easy to get as where Trailblazer is expansive to make. (I do plan/work my way up to full Trailblazer btw). Also i run Chronomancer instead of core Mesmer, because i love chrono and core is kinda meh to me. Again not the most fun build to use. But it works.. hell.. its very strong even. My current setup: http://tinyurl.com/chrono-wvw-condi (Yes its absolute cancer)
As for powerbuilds. I find them mostly weaker, but likewise i also have seen people that can play it really well. Even in outnumbered situations. few examples are these:

Katana sword & dagger
(little offtopic)….that actually reminds me…. There is also the Imbued Belinda’s Greatsword. This was unique to Marjory Delaqua after Belinda fused herself into the sword. This was fine back then. During crack in the ice Braham infused Eir’s bow with magic to make it more stronger. I also thought this would be unique to Braham. However after a short while it became available in the gemstore ….So could we get the Imbeud Belinda’s Katana too plz Anet?

Imagens a norn on Aurene… eh…. nvm. She is not even half the size of them. Poor dragon would be flat out and dead..
There is no actual gear/cog shield skin ingame. The one that is closest/fits most for general engi theme is the aetherized one imo. Also you can check out for yourself next time. Bank → wardrobe storage → weapon skins → offhand → shield
Katana sword (mainhand) and dagger was once datamined. But they never really made it into the game unfortunately. Check attachment, or preview the chatcodes in game to see them for yourself:

Just out of curiousity, what is the best PVE condi build for Mesmer, regardless of how poorly it performs?
I think you would have to look at core mesmer build that modifies all the condi possibilites.
Something like this build: http://tinyurl.com/mes-core-condi
Traits:
I chose trailblazer gear becouse of Chaotic Transference trait. This gives additional condi damage based on your toughness. But i geus you can go with viper and choose Chaotic Dampening trait too.
Further i also chose Phantasmal Haste in Illusion over Maim the Dellusioned. This becouse i think torment doesnt do much, and there for i think you will have more damage uptime if lets say your Phantasmal Mage (torch 5 phantasm) attack more often. Alltought in open world you would shatter(burst) more often, so other one would be more useful there i geus.
Skills:
I think these speak for themself. SoE to cast another Phantasm Mage, SoM + SoD for additional condi damage and uptime. SoI for boon(share). Can be replaced if want/needed. And finally Timewarp for quickness.
Gear:
Again i went for complete trailblazer couse of trait in Chaos traitline. Can go for viper too. But regardless i think you need to go beyond 100% duration on mesmer. Becouse other then confusion and torment, your condi damage is mostly random. So you want them to last as much as possible.
Chrono variant: http://tinyurl.com/mes-elite-condi
First of..why? Well slow and clone/phantasm respawn after shatter. And my personal reason: 25% speed (Yes i do love it that much). Replace Chaos trait line with Chrono line 1 2 3. And use Viper gear since you no longer gain additional condi damage from toughness. Also SoI changes to Signet of Illusion. You will have more clones and phantasms duo to chrono traitline. This means you can shatter more often. But your shatter skills will be on cd, and that is where signet of illusions comes in play. You can also replace Timewarp with Gravity Well. But i personally think you would gain more from Timewarp.
-Mesmer
Shortly put i love everything about this. So unique too! The versatility is literately ground braking. Mostly accepted for its quickness and alacrity uptime. But the class brings so much more ofc. Reflects, condi cleanse, portal, blink distortion, cc and more. I love utilizing all of it.
-Guardian
To me this class feels much similair to mesmer. Same kind of support except it is less good at it and instead it does more damage. So this kinda like my mesmer for openworld pve ..if that makes sense. I just wished guardian had an 25% speed skill or trait, so i could swap out my traveler runes for something more useful (Anet plz!)
-Thief
Mostly cause i like assassin style gameplay in general. So naturally thief suites my liking. Love the d/d weapon combo most.
-Warrior
Becouse warrior, i mean common who doesnt like it?! Heavy damage dealing, high sustaining might bott. Farting might with every step it takes, cause why not. However, the class is pretty straight forward and easy to play, so i do get bored of it pretty quickly. Oh and i also like the dual axe playstyle most. Not neccasarily cause of the skills, but i just love the dual axe wielding. Makes the character look cool
(edited by GWMO.4785)
Yes! and make it more universal while at it! Make all backitems-glider compatible with each other. So basically anything that looks or can be used for gliding. Starting with the tempered spinal blades
That’s because, in many cases, buying it directly is cheaper than crafting.
I will say that crafting is not always cheaper. HOWEVER, i don’t know how you do your comparison. MOST of the time when i do my calculation i find myself spending less when i craft it.
A great tool you can use to make the comparisons/calculations is https://gw2efficiency.com/crafting/calculator Make an account and you can even filter on the items you already have so you would spend even less for crafting.
Ascended can be used by more than one char. You have 6 chars and 3 of them are use light armour? No problem, make just ONE armour set and all three can now use as needed. What’s that you might want to mix up your game and try dif stats? NP, no need to make multiple armour sets for EACH and EVERY char. Simply just make 2 more sets and they can ALL use them.
Yes.. and no…
I have ascended sets myself and i do swap them out now and then, the problem with this however relies in the fact that it is not optimal. for example i would use Aristocracy runes on a condi ps war. For burn guardian i would use Balthazar runes. Same for others: Perplexity for mesmer, thorn for necro etc etc. So despite armor/weapons/trinkets being more adoptive. You’re still most likely to be swapping sigils and runes all the time when you swap your gear from one class to another. Instead i prefer to make additional sets. and just keep those on my characters. Might be an investment at start. But it will safe me some mats/gold overtime.
Why the hell isnt there a reward system for ascended in WvW. Its the only game mode I play. Not like pvp players need ascended.
Lets just say that you may want to reconsider what you actually want to say. Because ascended is basically ONLY needed in fractals where agony starts to hit (aka for AR infusions). Anything else is nothing more then skill cap. Sure, it does have higher stats and there for makes the content easier. But not a requirement.
Overall it a poor build but the determining factor in its play is not Trappers runes nor even traps, it is stealth stacking via d/p and that it.
Actually it IS the traps. You see stealth stacking by utilizing d/p does not do anything other then well… stacking stealth. The traps however allow you to remain in stealth when someone triggers them. So to bring it more in line, i would say add reveal to it when someone activates the trap. And that for like.. idk, 2 or 3 seconds? i think that would be fair
As for the target requirement for heartseeker…Definitly no go. This would cripple thief ALOT
..Viper..
Confusion and torment are both garbage in PvE, so no.
As @Fay.2357 mentioned mesmer/chrono can output confusion and torment most. However that doesn’t mean the condi side of mesmer is bad as there are more condition you can do without the randomness
For starters if you use dualing traitline you can have bleeding on critical hits and pistol skills, also you can have 3x Phantasmal Mage (torch 5) if you use Signet of Ether (Healing) and Continuum Split (F5). That does get up 6 burning stacks. Additionally using doom and geomancy sigil adds poisen and bleeding on weapon swap.
So in short it may not compete with the top tier condi builds/classes. But it is viable
For those who panic / go rampage mode: Please do take a moment, BREATH, and calm down.. Done? Alright lets move on →
Alright, so for starters, there are guides like http://gw2crafts.net/ out there that litterly have the job done for you already. It shows everything step by step on how to do what for each crafting discipline and the required mats/gold you need to have or buy.
Second, as how stupid or annoying or w/e it may sound. Once you are done with it. It actually has ALOT of benefits. Like you can craft anything ingame. Some stuff that otherwise may not even be obtainable. And really maxing crafting discipline is a one time thing. And with those guides out there its all childsplay
So what about gold? …You may ask… Cause not everyone can or wants to grind their stuff, most people will just buy it. Rather that is the equipment itself or mats to craft it. I geus this is different for everyone, but i personally think it would be too weak/easy to say that you dont have the gold for it. As you can basically turn everything into gold, it is super easy to obtain it regardless of the content you play
However, I wouldn’t recommend you try to jump into the chronotank role as it’s easily the most difficult role in a raid party. Instead, try to be the non-tank chrono so that you can learn the encounters first.
If you are new to chrono then yes. But the class is and will stay a supportive class. So one way or the other you probably want/need to experience the tanking eventually
As much as I love the versatility, I must admit it is also a double edged sword. Our stuff is either stupidly expensive (Sigil of Concentration / Minstrel gear /Bountiful sharpening stones) or a pain in the kitten to farm (Leadership / Durability runes). And even the most basic Chrono build requires much effort (Sigil of Concentration + Leadership runes) unlike the usual Zerker+Scholar setup that most classes use and can fairly easy aquire.
It’s still wonderful to have multiple options rather than just being tunnel visioned on max damage. Which is probably why I love playing support’ish classes in games. If only it didn’t require so much more farming just for the basic stuff. I would love to have Arenanet even out the difference abit. Especially the huge bottleneck there is on Freshwater pearls that affects most Chrono builds. I may be looking into cheaper alternatives to sigil of concentration since it is so expensive, but not sure if it is viable.
I personally did not have much trouble getting the gear together. easiest way to obtain in my believes is to farm gold and buy the base mats you need, and from there you basically just craft it. You can turn anything in to gold these days. So should not be that hard.
If you dont have the recipes for lets say ascended commander set, i would suggest to go for first gen stats (like berserker etc), and then change the stats in mystic forge. That way you only would need to make commander insignia’s/inscriptions. Will probably will save you some mats/gold, cause newer stats require the Jeweled Damask Patch as where the old ones are just Damask Patch. Not sure on that one tho, you will have to do the exact calculating yourself.
Also I got a question: You mentioned a Berserker set with chronomancer runes. What would you use it for now that Signet of Inspiration got changed? I recently returned to the game thus still have the Chrono runes but I am working on replacing them with leadership runes. Should I keep them instead?
It was more of a suggestion actually. If you cant upkeep the quickness with scholar runes, then chronomancer runes could help you out a tiny bit. Since 6th bonus gives you quickness on casting any well. Regardless i would first check out how much boon uptime you have. Aim for 100%. Going beyond is wasted.
Additionally for anyone that wants to make changes to their chrono, maybe it is better to wait. PvP has introduced seekers amulet. And i personally hope Anet will bring this stats combo to Pve as well. But that is a another topic which can be followed here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Seeker-Stats/first#post6498311
So with launch of season 4 of living world, Anet introduced Seekers Amulet in PVP. As a main chrono player i would see much benefits to see this stat combo in PVE. So naturally that begs the question: Will Seeker be introduced to PVE (soon’ish)?
Unlike other classes where one or two sets would work just fine. Being Versatile is basically the key for mesmer. All tough Commander would get you far, and is accepted in most scenarios. I still would have multiple sets for chrono to be optimized, depending on what and where you like to play the class:
Armor:
- Commander (leadership or durability runes)
- Assassin (scholar runes)
- Berserker (scholar or chrono runes)
- Cleric (monk rune)
Weapons: (Concentration/x sigils)
- Commander
- Berserker
- Minstrel
Trinkets:
- Commander
- Berserker
- Minstrel
Maybe some additional condi set with Viper or Trailblazer but that is rather optional.
It’s not necessarily wrong but more in the sense of not needed. Going full offensive stats gear in pve just works best becouse of pve’s very own nature. Classes are well capable of sustaining/healing themselfs, so there is slim to non need for other gear types. Unless you’re raiding or high tier fractal. Then a supporter(s) may/is usefull. It is a mindset you need to switch basically: more dps = faster kill = less required time to survive. Sure it may be annoying and perhaps difficult at start, but once you get used to it, you will see that you will have much smooter/faster runs
The main thing Anet (developers) separate GW2 from traditional rpgmmo style, is the openworld events that can scale up dynamically. Depending on the involved players at that given moment.
Thus that being said, doing events in openworld map is mainly what you are looking for when you are exploring/leveling. And doing map completion: hearts (quests), poi, vista, hp challenges become more of a side thing, as where other games are “mandatory” for leveling up.
When it comes to endgame content (dungeons etc). These do exists. However depending on how “hardcore” you want to go, there is no real roles in what which class is or should do. Every class can heal/support/damage/tank. Sure one class is better at doing something than a other class. But in the end, it kinda comes down to what class you like most.
I wouldn’t recommand a laptop for gaming. Despite hardware being good/reliable. You still have to deal with cooling. Notebooks arent optimal in those therms. Not to mention the dedicated gpu is in most cases solderd. So if that worns out after a time, you need to buy a whole new system.
Mesmer is by far the most versatile class. However duo to its low personal damage. It is not that great to solo things with it. Even in openworld, you will notice this. Where you need to cast a couple skills. Kill a mob, have cooldowns. And basically aa another mob forever till your skills are off cooldown again. As where other classes can just keep killing stuff by just a few hits. You will notice this esspecially in new maps and group contents such as fractals or so. So simply put mesmer/chrono shines in group content couse of all the utility it has.
That being said, if you’re for a class just to explore and run around in open world with. Thief is your answer. High mobility and damage work really amazing there. But if you want to bring it to fractals and raids and such. You might consider warrior or elementalist. Those have pretty good mobility as well as damage. But unlike thief, they also offer support for group parties. As where thief is mainly just personal damage. And becouse of this, those classes are preferd by most people over thief in group contents.
I like the fractal outfit idea. Another idea would be dyeable(?) fractal skins. Lets say you need recipes or something. and then rather craft it with a specific crafting discipline or mystic forge. And the only way to obtain the needed ingredients is by fractals only.
Kinda like the Tempered Spinal Blades. But fractals exclusively.
Come to think of it. I would love to be able to dye my Ad Infinitum red
fractal loot is great!
- You get ~100g every time you open a stack of fractal encryptions
- You get 1-2 Ascended Armor Chests per Week
- You get a lot of Stabilizing Matrices which is good extra gold
- You get Elonian Leather, Bolts of Damask, Deldrimor Ignots as possible drops
- You get a good amount of Karma
- You get Fractal Relics + Pristine Fractal relics that you can exchange for a many different cool things
- You get unique Skins that can only be found in fractals
I really dont think fractal loot is lacking
And Fractal 100 CM gives a lot of good extra rewards for people who take the Challenge
-Completing dailies is 4×3+3=15 boxes a day (including daily recommanded). That is 105 boxes a week.
-You DONT get ascended 1-2 times a week. You just have (higher) chance of getting an ascended box in t4. Last time i got one is weeks ago, if not month(s).
-You get 15’ish stabilized matrixes a day average. A bit more if you salvage rings. Wich have fairly high chance of dropping. But not guarenteed.
-Deldrimor ingot, elonian leather and damask are possible drops yes. But kinda rare. I would not wait for them.
-Karma is pretty much useless.
-You can buy some nice stuff with fractal relics, But you cant really turn it into gold. I mean i got even over 7k of them. (Yes i do have the infinite omni potion as well).
-Fractal weapon skins are buyable and golden ones are craftable. And there for lost their value imo. So meh..
My daily gain from fractals is about 10g and 15 stabilized matrixes. Wich i keep for attributed infusions. I think that this is fine in general. But on other side, you dont get rewarded for doing other or more fractals a day. Yes you still get the encrypted boxes and such. But outside dailies, these are so minor. I dont consider it is worth doing it. I think that many people (including myself) would appreciate if the general fractal drop would improve. Outside of dailies. This way more people would play/do/enjoy more fractals more often.
Edit: I just renembered that i (and many others) used to make 35/50g a day, from doing multiple dungeons back in the days. Before it got nerfed. So.. yeah.. let that sink in for a moment.
