That’s another problem I see. The exit surrounds the altar, which provides many paths to retreat to and separate the Risen veterans, but players only know one place to retreat to, which is the Historian Vermoth’s side, since that’s where everyone came in from to reach the altar.
Right now, there’s about a dozen servers in the Risen Priestess of Dwayna event that has the potential to to get bugged. Some may already have mobs attacking all over Historian Vermoth while the event is left on for hours.
So are there any quick ways to take down Taidha’s Gate? It takes about 5 minutes to destroy it because each players can only inflict around 1 to 3 damage on it (depending on Might stacks).
Or do we have to bring a whole zerg from WvW to take down the gate faster? But if we do that, Taidha Covington wouldn’t last very long. The events make it that the gate has more toughness and lasts longer than Taidha Covington.
Please add a fail event condition on Historian Vermoth during Defeat the Risen Priestess of Dwayna event. I’m tired of seeing this chain event getting broken on my server on day 0 or 1 after a game update.
What’s the deal with the wave spawning on Jonez at 0:50? My group failed twice in the same countdown due to something killing Keeper Jonez’s HP in 1 second.
First impression of the Legendary Karka Queen is terribad. After it appeared, I got downed in 5 seconds by the Crazed Reef Riders and died – I wasn’t even near the Karka Queen’s range. No one would resurrect so I had to waypoint and run to the Karka Queen area again.
Apparently the Reef Riders are invulnerable and attacked me from behind.
So yeah, if you died, waypoint immediately and don’t bother waiting for a rez.
I’m not sure where you come by this info but I checked and it was not open. Not one server in NA was uncontested.
Whichever sources you’re pulling the event status from is wrong. Temple is still opened according to ANet’s API, and Risen Priest of Grenth hasn’t reappeared to take it back yet.
I’m having the same issue as well. The small icons above players do not render at 3D depths. This used to be the case with the revive bar UI when the game got released several months ago — that was then fixed since.
The event got updated “silently” since the recent game updates. He now roams around Fields of Gold. You can still lure it inside Caer Shadowfain to all the NPCs in there though.
According to the status of events from the API, Temple of Dwayna is currently broken on the following servers until next game update or server maintenance:

Don’t use Union Waypoint for Temple of Lyssa. You’ll get stuck under the surface half of the time when you waypoint there from other zones. Better to use Wren Waypoint than spending more fee to re-waypoint to Union Waypoint.

UPDATE: As of June 25, 2013, this terribad issue is now fixed.
Just tried Temple of Grenth since the update yesterday with a group of about 12 players, picked up from setting up the cannon, took down Grenth priest and successfully cleansed the temple in one try.
The Champion Risen Spider doesn’t actually one-shot people with Egg Injection, but it’s still a nuisance and we got enough DPS to kill the spider.
Champion Risen Wraith from the stairs got controlled by another attacker and I. We kept it near the stairs and the column, and knocked it down if it rises to do Life Transfer. Champion Risen Wraith only has 2 stacks of Defiant max during the cleansing event, and I think it’s been like that since the April 30, 2013 update.
I think the only issue is that Temple of Grenth events cannot be zerged. Too much players will spawn so much Shades that will quickly stack everyone with Corruption just by the overwhelming presence of Shades, as well as getting hit by invisible mobs and not seeing arrivals of champions due to severe culling issues.
The Melandru priest always had that capability. He gets bugged after repeating the event so that he cannot turn players into animals until next server update/reset.
