Well, I am now getting disconnected EVERYWHERE in the game. This has not happened for the past several months I’ve played Guild Wars 2.
Right now, I have to constantly “switch character” and reconnect with my character if my skills stop responding.
I got disconnected 5 times in Queensdale for the past 5 minutes. This is happening as soon as I stepped into Queensdale.
Then all of a sudden, something keeps on taking my health while I’m running. No enemies around, I got downed and died.
Yet for some reason, chat doesn’t seem affected since I see people talking during the connection issue in Queensdale.
I’m on Blackgate and my armor got damaged because of this connection issue.

If you’re trying to trigger the Shadow Behemoth events, Rotting Ancient Oakheart and Sister Brenda cannot be at their spawn locations.
Strange bug. I did experience Sister Brenda stalling for one minute after trying to initiate the Brew Shipment event, but I haven’t seen it get stalled for hours.
Never had that issue.
Yup. This is a permanent fix. Not sure why I have to enable DNS Client service as I always had it disable for performance reasons.
Megadestroyer’s chest isn’t one of the updated chests that will guarantee a rare item, despite that the Ancient Chest looks like the other dragon chests.
A higher level boss Golem Mark II in the same zone has the updated chest however.
Daily resets at 0:00 GMT. Please note that daylight savings will change the time of the daily reset in your timezone.
For me, daily now resets at 7:00PM CST instead of 6:00PM CST.
You should try the Great Jungle Wurm. A group of 30+ players took it down in 3 seconds.
Just logged in for 4 minutes, and Trading Post window became blank.
Restarting the game is so tedious.
World bosses are identified by having a large portrait above its health bar. Megadestroyer only has a champion rank.
Two people just got Nitro from the Inquest Resources chest at the same time Golem Mark II was taken down. Seems like it’s one of the possible exotic drops from that chest, but I’m not sure if it’s also obtainable from other chests.
I don’t think the hidden damage numbers on the last phase of Claw of Jormag is intentional.
Do you or anyone else know if it’s chest received the updated loot? Once I get back ig I’ll check it out.
You get rares from the Inquest Resources chest. I got Jaws of Death from it 5 days ago.
It’s a bug, since it’s happening to most world bosses as well.
Because Megadestroyer isn’t a world boss like Shadow Behemoth or the dragons.
If you’re looking for a world boss in Mount Maelstrom, go to Whitland Flats and complete the event chains to summon Golem Mark II. Bring everyone you can.
Not everyone knew about this world boss. I wonder why.

I fought it solo on land for nearly 10 minutes. You can dodge the transform attack.
Bring a long battle on solo, it’s probably best to have other players fight the champion together, so you can have the remaining minutes to do other events.
Request has been answered. There’s going to be a timer for Giant Jungle Wurm at Wychmire Swamp.
My game just crashed on The Shatterer event after we got him to 50% because there was too many people, i entered back, killed 4-5 dragon minions, then Shatterer died and i didn’t receive the chest. Tell me, is this fair?
Unfortunately, killing only Shatterer’s minions doesn’t count towards contribution.
World boss Inquest’s Golem Mark II spawns an Inquest Resources chest at Whitland Flats. I got two rares from the chest. Respawn rate is currently unknown.
I also requested a timer for Giant Jungle Wurm at Wychmire Swamp. Haven’t heard from anything since.

I released a Skritt Burglar from a chest located inside the circular tree stumps located northeast of Caledon Haven Waypoint. After chasing and attacking the skritt for 30 seconds, she suddenly remained invulnerable, rendering all hits and shots as “missed” and “obstructed” for the next 60 seconds.
She then teleported to a road east of Lionguard Waystation Waypoint, where she spinned and disappeared.
The Skritt Burglar was running through Willowalk Groves when this happened.
This bug has happened twice since I saw her ran through this path last month.
Swamp events has been working normally since the update. Thanks for the fix!
It has impressed the low-level individuals.
You’ll have a chance on seeing Shadow Behemoth and the swamp events once a notification of a new game build appears. Shadow Behemoth’s respawn rate is around 2 hours to 2:30 hours. Once the server resets, stick around in Queensdale in 2 hours.
If you launched the game late and noticed it’s updating, ask around and find out how long ago the game rebooted.
Swamp event was working for a while after another server reset yesterday. Shadow Behemoth was fought (five times) with no issues for about 12 hours. Next morning, the Pack Bull was spotted standing alone beside Eldvin Monastery. NPC Sister Brenda is absent.
I’m still not sure why this happened. I wonder if it’s related to an event failure on defending the monastery’s ale or brew shipment.
We had a good run with the Shadow Behemoth after the reset. I fought him three times before I went to bed. It never respawned the next day. Currently, NPCs are standing around the Pack Bull with no centaurs coming, while the rotten Oakheart event is no longer reoccuring. I’m on Blackgate server.
Thank for looking into this issue. I hope all bugs related to these events get all squished out.
I play it 99% of the time with Nvidia 3D Vision on my laptop. The game’s stereoscopic 3D is not perfect yet, but it’s efficient.
Game supports IME, but the font used by the game seems to lack Hiragana and Katakana characters. Kanji seems fine though.
