After today’s patch, it seems Champion Risen Spider is using Pull+Egg combo attack more often. That is WAY too often.
There wasn’t any mention of change of mob skills, so I wonder if it had something to do with today’s patch, since that issue didn’t occur for the past 2 years.
The auto-focus with mouse hover in BLTC should’ve NEVER been implemented in the first place. The way it behaves now is very obnoxious. I want it disabled.
Another change to BLTC interface. Unacceptable. Just when auto-focus with mouse hover wasn’t enough, now clicking on the numbers increase/decrease number on ANOTHER field.
Knockback is always frowned upon, especially on Megadestroyer.
I think this icon speaks for the solution.
Unfortunately, ANet has a thing with leaving the upscaled mobs at such places in Orr and not despawn them after the event failed long time ago.
About +100 people were in the middle of attacking Inquest Golem Mark II when all of a sudden, the loading screen popped and were were sent to another instance with another active Golem Mark II (but slightly added minutes and more HP), so I wonder what is up with that.
No answer.
Oh well, Fields of Ruin is no longer a daily event now.
We were in the last event of Ogre Wars when all of a sudden, the loading screen popped and were were sent to an instance that has a non-working Ogre Wars event, so I wonder what is up with that.
In the meantime, in addition to zoning, F12 brings up a menu that lets you log out and back in, which also resolves the problem.
The problem is that pressing the Space bar accidentally in the Log Out window will log you out of the game, as it is focused on the Log Out button as the default action. This bug was also introduced some patches ago.
If this can be looked at as well as the Esc key issue, that would be great.
After Shatterer was defeated, I looted a chest that contained the exotic variant of Sentniel’s Bane. Few minutes later, the map disconnected everyone out of the game. Logged back in to find myself and everyone here by the portal from Blazeridge Steppes.
I want my loot back.
Nothing else is assigned to the space bar other than the “Use” function. The log out window is assigned to F12 key.
The problem is some UI designer carelessly set a focus/default button on the “Log Out” button on the Log Out window, which forces the game to quit if the space bar is accidentally pressed, which is weird because the game doesn’t have the feature to navigate and highlight buttons using the arrow keys.
This is still an issue. Please disable the focus on the “Log Out” button.
An unwise change without documenting in the game update notes.
Such changes are better off making the Shatterer encounter less dumb instead.
Re-login with both stacks in your inventory. They should now be stackable.
Here’s the mentioned black ground issue when Shaders setting is set to High in 3D. Some areas also show a tint of red on one eye, and blue on the other eye.
Other than a few issues remaining from last month’s patch, legacy glitches also remain (the green arrow, star, ANet icons, and LFG icons next to player’s tag).

I can confirm with multiple effects in one screenshot. Effects are fixed from today’s patch for the most part (Build 48,276, April 28, 2015):
1. Depth of shadows are now fixed to the ground.
2. Depth of AoE and ground effects are now fixed.
3. Certain effects from weapons (black blotches from Twilight, Necro’s markings, etc.) are now rendered in correct depths.
What’s still out of depth in stereoscopic rendering mode is the blue/green/red circles on the ground when you select a target.
Not sure what you mean by crash. We were nearing Eye of Zhaitan at Zhoqafa Catacombs when all of a sudden, majority of people got disconnected from the server, as if the server had a big hiccup. It lasted 2 minutes before we can log back in for Eye of Zhaitan.
I was able to change the topic title to a more accurate title with under 45 characters. Luckily, it didn’t break any URLs linking to this page.
I hope the devs address the 3D rendering issue in the future game update. It’s not good going a step backward against the features they originally supported.
Currently, Guild Wars 2 is not a good game for 3D experience since the major patch release last month. See: BUG: Shadows/ground fx completely fouled up
The necromancer is strong in this one.
Once a new game update is online, or if players manage to create a new map instance when the primary map becomes almost full, any bugged events will reset to its original working state.
Guild Wars 2 was designed with Nvidia 3D Vision support in mind. However, a major change with the game feature and content last month made stereoscopic rendering not worth it in game due to massive rendering issues with shadows and ground effects when 3D is enabled. Currently, ANet said they do not support the use of 3D Vision.
Why they blotched up shader effects (shadows and ground effects) last month, making stereoscopic rendering (3D) mode an eyesore when enabled.
NPCs can break the next event if they are down before the event succeeded. It happened to Scholar Brogun at the Frozen Maw and Historian Vermoth at Temple of Dwayna before until it was fixed.
The same fix needs to be applied on the NPCs for Ogre Wars, even on the last event, where we attack vet ogres and the final boss and cannot keep an eye on the NPCs because they’re far back from the event. Last thing we know the events will bug out if the NPCs don’t walk back from Foulbear Kraal.
I can say you’re wrong and I do. The conclusion you came to is illogical and based off of only frustration because they haven’t fixed it, when you also know they don’t care about dungeons in the slightest and probably don’t have many people employed that even know much about them anyways due to how little maintenance there is.
The chances of dungeon related bugs being fixed when it’s still possible to do the path are really, really slim at best.
Either way, having common sense would serve us all well. Answer me: why would they intentionally make his autoattack now hit in melee range without fixing the 1-shot wallsploit if they really wanted to make the boss harder to get past? And while we’re at it, why wouldn’t they make him unskippable in paths 1 & 2 as well?
They removed Twilight Arbor Forward/Up path. Seems logical to them. Nobody knows what they’re focusing on atm, besides HoT. And the greater question is why there hasn’t been an official response for 2 weeks now.
Since couple patches ago, the great jungle wurms at Bloodtide Coast no longer make any noises during the encounter, with the exception of Amber’s growling stomach.
I’ve only been on Amber Great Jungle Wurm, so I’m not sure if it also applies to Crimson and Cobalt Jungle Wurms.
Daily chest is once per daily.
Chest on the ground is once per character per daily.
By giving Lupicus this ludicrous ability, I think they’re planning to make this path of the dungeon less favorable and less frequent for dungeon runs — basically phasing it out, just as they did to the third dungeon path with the Nightmare Tree in Twilight Arbor.
Then they will replace that less frequent dungeon path with a totally new dungeon path content. Just wait and see.
You’re wrong, they didn’t intentionally change Lupicus at all the past few patches and it was a result of backend changes causing unexpected changes in all mobs/bosses in the game. Afterall, why would they have intentionally changed his autoattack in phase 2 to always hit without first fixing his bubble or preventing people from 1shotting him? Why would they encourage people to 1shot him?
Clearly they were unaware of the problem.
Until the devs respond to the issue, you cannot say that I’m wrong. You can only hope they realized they made an error.

I’ve never seen this happened for the past 2 years. The question is how/why Megadestroyer spawned under the lava? Was there something in the way that causes him to spawn under the lava?
TTS and Attuned[ATT] for NA times.
It’s just “Close the portals opened by shadow behemoth in less than 20 seconds.” Given that statement, you have about 3 to 4 chances on destroying the portals within 20 seconds as Shadow Behemoth spawns them.
One player claimed that the first 13 portals Shadow Behemoth summoned only counted as the achievement. Although I cannot find that claim anywhere on the forums nor Wiki, he is probably bluffing. And he basically said “it was confirmed the day they put out the new update”, which doesn’t mean anything.
Eventually, the Ogre Wars meta event UI “Succeeded” itself, and no longer tells the state of the area. GG.
It gets auto accepted? or will it be gone/replaced by another chest? I read somewhere there is a limit of 7 chests.
Yes. It won’t go away until you click on it or it gets auto-accepted due to excessive chests.
All of the above, in addition to shader rendering fix in the game so playing in stereoscopic 3D is usable again.
…however some objects are rendered at the wrong distance, shadows are rendered differently for the left and right eye…
ANet devs broke the shader rendering for stereoscopic 3D since the patch release on March 17, 2015. Stereoscopic 3D rendering was working fine for the most part since 2012, up until that patch release.
Guild Wars 2 forums: BUG: Shadows/ground fx completely fouled up
yeah, i got dc’d during vw yesterday and when i got back in i was on a fresh map, no loots for me :/
The issue is about game client crashing in The Silverwastes, not disconnection during Vinewrath.
Stun the champ before anyone else does. That way, he gains defiant stacks so Rangers can’t push him out of the circle.
Chances are, the headset imitates surround sound, and Guild Wars 2 will lose audio if it switches from one sound device to another that has a different number of audio channels. Have you tried restarting GW2 with the headset plugged in?
Since these patches, I’ve been experiencing a high rate of random game crashes at The Silverwastes.
In fact, NO OTHER maps or instances ever crashed other than The Silverwastes, so I wonder what is up with that.
I’ve also experienced odd delay with casting Gunks. I thought it was the result from the airplane arm animation.
I’d prefer the default selection to be “Character Select”, not “Log Out”.
Please fix that. Or give us the options to select a default button.
If I reconnect to a map, sometimes it takes me near a portal at any map entrance rather than where I disconnect. Fix it.
For some reason, when I use the “Log Out” window to access the “Character Select” button, a simple press of a spacebar triggers the “Log Out” button. It’s like someone messed with the dialog UI which has the default focus on the Log Out button.
I’m posting that issue because I don’t think that issue happened before that game update on March 17.
Back to ANet on this one.
Nvidia Support Reference #150326-000310:
As the game developer has updated the patch for the game Guild Wars 2, support for 3D has been disabled, hence updating a new driver will not help this as the game is not supported on 3D.
We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused.
If there are any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me.
I look forward to your reply.

Not much to do now. We can only hope that someday a new build update will support 3D Vision again.
Here’s a PAX video recap of how 3D Vision was supported in Guild Wars 2 back in 2011: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZGC2eDwwWg&t=3m3s
In-game stereoscopic screenshot button looks bugged in first person view. I use Nvidia’s stereoscopic screenshot hotkey instead since it’s more effective in taking stereo screenshot than the one built into the game.
Forums don’t take .jps file. Save it as a side-by-side .jpg with a photo/graphic editor.
CesarWell, the ball is on Nvidia’s court now. Hope a new driver can fix the stereoscopic 3D rendering issue caused by last week’s game build release (Build 46,472). It would be sad to see Guild Wars 2 lose the “Excellent” rating for Nvidia 3D Vision.
Unsolvable bug unfortunately. The fix they did with Scholar Brogun at the Maw could not be applied to Crusader Yipp at Crimson Wurm site for some reason.
The people at Challdar Gorges will need to make sure the NPC stays alive as the event finishes.
