No reply? Okay… I’m guess I’m the only one stuck with this unique issue. It hasn’t happened today though.

We were all attacking the Megadestroyer on the final phase when I suddenly got disconnected due to overflowed queued data. I reconnected and found myself dead. Moments later while waiting to get revived, the chest on the land disappeared. The chest only stayed up for 2 minutes.
I hope you have a good reason why the chest from Megadestroyer and Inquest’s Golem Mark II only stays up FOR TWO MINUTES before despawning.

During the final event with Modniir Ulgoth and the champions, we killed 1 Champion War Beast while 2 are still up on my screen. I got a report from my party that Ulgoth is now dead. Several seconds later I got disconnected. Upon reconnect I did not get the chest on the same map instance.
Reason being was because this map was only giving me 8 KB/sec instead of over 40 KB/sec required to sustain the data from the massive groups.

I was in a party while a large group started to attack the possessed Statue of Dwayna. The statue’s HP was going unusually slow while I was attacking it. And then more than a minute later, my party told me that the Statue of Dwayna is now dead, while the statue was still up on my screen with 95% HP.
So… not wanting to wait for a chest to appear in my de-synchronized instance, I promptly switched character and reconnected to the same map to skip all that massive “queued data” the server is holding for my game client, and looted the giant chest on the altar.
Because it works…
When interacting with Contact/LFG window, I keep getting spammed with “The game client is unable to gain access to the log-in server at this time.”, so I wonder what is up with that.

World: Blackgate
Map: Sparkfly Fen, 64.25.38.202, Tequatl event
Latency started building up greatly as soon as people attack Tequatl. As soon as the battery event started, the game will not acknowledge that I hit anything. More latency build up (over 80 seconds) and I ran from the event to a far distance, only to get hit by something invisible a minute later, I got downed and died. The revive button would not work. At the end I only ended up with two chests from the Tequatl event.

Description: 64.25.33.80 Harathi Hinterlands. I was in a mass group when the game would not keep my game client in real-time battles. Over 60 seconds of latency from the server experienced. My connection latency is only around 300-450ms, so all this “queued data” is coming from the server time. This cause me to appear way behind from everyone elses and not allowing me hit Modniir Ulgoth and his mobs when I’m standing and attacking right infront of them on my screen.
I did not experience this massive latency prior to the game update last Tuesday (September 16).

I posted this issue under Bugs section, but there has been no replies regarding this bug, so I’m posting here since there’s some post activity in the Tech Support section from the devs.
The party function has crippled since Tuesday’s update (September 16). When I try to join a party, nothing happens. Many seconds passed and the following error pops up: “The game client is unable to gain access to the log-in server at this time.”
If I promptly try to join the party again, GW2 crashes.
Trying to interact with the Contact/LFG window also spams the same error message in-game.
Running repair does nothing, so this seems to be a severe bug in the party function that’s causing the crash.
A lot of events associated to Ogre Wars are always vulnerable to break and stop working. Unfortunately it has been like this for the past 2 years, and a permanent fix is unlikely.
I spotted Spectral Flames attacking players at Blazeridge Steppes. There is no mentioned about this thing in any game’s update notes so I wonder what is up with that.
I had posted about this issue at Game Bugs: MASSIVE desynchronized issue in-game
Since Tuesday’s patch the issue has gotten worse. The latency during Tequatl in Sparkfly Fen went up to 40 seconds. I literally had to predict by running and attacking ahead of time from the mass group of ~140 players, because the server is severely holding all that latency for my client. My connection latency to the server is only 300ms to 420ms when something like this occurs.
Granted I wish the server would skip some data to allow me to catch up to real time.
Ever since that patch update few hours ago, the latency pushing from the server to my game client went to ludicrous amount of seconds, thus causing massive desynchronization between the server and the client, making the game unplayable.
My latency to the server is ONLY at a range of 300ms according to Microsoft’s Resource Monitor. It does NOT report going as high as 20000ms or more, but this is what your server is holding up against my client when I join a world event that has over 80 players.
How could this connection session got worse from just a patch update few hours ago?!?

It’s to discourage 2v1 when two worlds push one back to spawn. But no one talks about that.
Sometimes the guild/party UI function does not populate or respond, causing the error: “The game client is unable to gain access to the log-in server at this time.” GW2 promptly crashes 100% of the time if I try to join a party after dismissing that error, and I wonder what is up with that.

If you have multiple languages or keyboard layouts added in Windows Language bar, press Left Alt+Shift in-game to switch between them.
Illusions still do not self destruct upon killing Lyssa priestess as of September 2014 Feature Pack.
Achievement may not be much this season but it satisfies my situation. It’s too bad WvW doesn’t let me contribute more to my world given the nature of the game’s unoptimized net coding and “backlogging” all the zerg data (thus causing latency, built up for me from the server side).
GW2 end. The network lag got horrendous after that big patch on Tuesday.
As of the release of September 2014 Feature Pack, the consumable Charrzooka item still disarms after firing one rocket. This has been going since The Origins of Madness release back in January 21, 2014.
This is the information we players got served while waiting for the amazing feature pack:
“We’ve changed the way many of the underlying systems work, making them more cost-effective, which will reduce how often players will be seeing issues caused by performance. This is most notable in large combat situations like WvW and at the PvE world boss events. These improvements affect both the server and client performance, so in these situations, you should see increased frame rates as well!”
Well, with WvW’s current state it’s almost unplayable now, so GG.
I hate to hijack this thread but since the September patch, the game did not promise performance improvements in PvE.
In fact, it has gotten WORSE, especially on large group zergs on dragon events. I have mentioned that in this thread: Game Bugs: MASSIVE desynchronized issue in-game
Issue is still happening. I got dc’s from a Tequatl raid due to lack of downstream bandwidth from the game servers.
A bug known on that event’s wiki page, yet no confirmation from the devs regarding this bug in the forums.
They should remove the “Bonus” line in the event UI since this bonus reward doesn’t seem to “officially”(???) work.
Usually when I join a mass group event that has about 140 players, the game is not keeping me up in real-time, but slowly lags me behind by massive seconds against all the actions see on screen. Where I try to go or attack is not what others see on their side until 5 to 30 seconds later, or even higher. Thus, the actions between the server and the client gets desynchronized.
I’m sure your game has more bandwidth to provide since I can download updates up to 1 MB/seconds; yet when mass group event happens, you only provide me around 40 KB/sec, which is not enough when an area filled with players are blasting all kinds of attacks. Eventually all the data gets “backlogged” and I have to run away from the event and hope all that data “catches” up, or the backlog will overflow and disconnect me from the map. It often gets bad to the point that the game is not allowing me to tag enemies during an event when I’m up close to them.
Recently your September patch promises performance improvements, but since the patch went online yesterday, the connection lag from the game has gotten much worse; thus, the performance fix failed to meet expectations and making certain events much more unplayable.
I’m pretty sure something better can be done to prevent this data from “backlogging” on my game client. No games I’ve played ever lags me behind by 30 seconds or more.
Does that Miniature Collection achievement still work if I add minis to my wardrobe?
The new update has restored the function of the meta event… for now.
The meta event UI for Ogre Wars is GONE in Field of Ruins, and I wonder what is up with that.
Map IP *.33.89.
Nothing is wrong with the event boss. At times you may have landed on a map instance that had already done it instead of another map instance that has it in progress. Also, some players defend the Gates of Arah Waypoint for the trait without telling anyone.

Re-enable green/red outline of NPCs/enemies while moving the camera view with the mouse pointer, instead of disabling it. Using the arrow keys to rotate the camera does not disable the outline, so it doesn’t make sense why it’s disabled while using the mouse to move the view.
This issue has been happening since the release of Aetherblades.
Stack on TC, because JQ owes them.
Will the September patch include fixes for objects rendering at wrong depths in Nvidia 3D Vision?
The numbers of engineers alive is always there. The more alive the more the offshoot goes down.
But the NPCs losing it’s focus on the offshoot since the recent release is just absurd. How did this behavior happened?
No replies. I guess it’s a bug that started since Dragon’s Reach Part I. Submitting bug report then.
Lightning Pull stops half-way, and I wonder what is up with that.
I don’t think it’s supposed to do that and I’m trying to get the first Lost Coin in Uplands Oasis.
Some events have always included champs that don’t drop loot (notably Clawr of Jormag, first phase); ANet added a few champs to several events that won’t drop loot (notably Fire Elemental pre-events).
During Fire Elemental pre-events, with the exception of some Veteran Golems (they are standard spawns), mobs upscaled to veterans or higher do not give Exp nor drop any loots at all, and I wonder what is up with that. I don’t think the devs can explain that.
They are no longer super easy since the megaserver. The Great Jungle Wurm has been claiming lives as well.
Unless you mean the triple headed wurm the old one is very easy now …;
No, I mean the level 15 Great Jungle Wurm. Despite that it’s quick to kill, some players with inadequate gears get downed with just 1 or 2 hits.
They are no longer super easy since the megaserver. The Great Jungle Wurm has been claiming lives as well.
Elite/Champion Shadow Imp will one-shot anyone if it performs a dive attack. Dodge accordingly.
Now that the Blix event would be adjusted, are you then going to fix the farming issue on Crusader Angaria during Gates of Arah events?
…for a few minutes as soon as Karka Queen spawned, and I wonder what is up with that.
Where and what event did this happened?
No response.
Ok, I guess it’s intentional for devs to teleport Veteran Risen Subjugators right on the Pact party for instant annihilation and punishment if we skipped a wave of Risen.
Don’t ignore this.
We’ve escorted the Pact to the platform of Temple of Balthazar, way past the hills, when all of a sudden, two Veteran Risen Subjugators spawned in the dead middle of the Pact party, dropping unstoppable wells around them, which killed the Pact’s morale from 92% to 0%.
For some reason, the Pact quickly ran past the first wave of Risen of the event, preventing the second wave from spawning at all, until the first wave near the Rally waypoint is cleared. When this happens, the second wave lately spawned and teleported right on the Pact on the temple platform, with the Veteran Risen Subjugators immediately bombing the area with wells.
Having these ludicrous Risen suddenly spawned in the middle of the party seems like a punishment to players for “skipping” a wave. Is this behavior intended? What do you say to this?
This is still happening. ATT did a manual spawn of the world event, only to have the whole event severely stalled by Crusader Yipp at crimson jungle wurm site.
Here’s what I suspect what’s going on. Remember when Scholar Brogun at the Frozen Maw got stalled and he died after the escort to the totem completed? After we resurrected him he does nothing. This is happening to Crusader Yipp since he’s facing spawns of mobs that can potentially downed him.
Crusader Yipp needs the the fix that was already applied to Scholar Brogun and Historian Vermoth.
Maybe you mean a few months (since the mega server update).
Nope. I mean two years, because that’s low long the bug existed.
For almost two years, Crusader Angaria is still unable to active the beacons near Shank Anchorage to complete the event. Even worse, your recent updates prevented further Risen from spawning near Crusader Angaria, leaving players to do nothing for 4 minutes and stand around in silence.
If you are unable to fix the bug involving Angaria and the beacons, perhaps change her behavior or the objective so that players do not have to wait out 4 minutes until the next event starts.

Getting interrupted by Fear in the middle of planting explosives at the Toxic Offshoot, and then unable to plant it again for 5 seconds is lame. Get rid of the cooldown.
It was the cave. Somehow the green circle wasn’t obvious.
