Today’s patch rolled in. Shadows and ground effects still having depth rendering issue.

Another render bug from Golem Mark II’s AoE due to Tuesday’s patch.
The 2nd screenshot is from last November and how the orange AoE is supposed to be rendered.
Another rendering issue caused by the new patch. When welding Twilight, it forms blotches on my screen rather than on the ground.
More screenshots showing bugged shadows and ground effects. The green marks are out of depth, rendering at the screen level rather than on the ground. Even if I move far at a distance, the marks do not.
Shadows and AoE effects are completely bugged in stereoscopic 3D rendering. It’s so terribad, it’s like the game is going to lose Nvidia’s “Excellent” rating for Nvidia 3D Vision gaming.

After the new patch went live, the shadows and AoE effects on the ground renders completely out of depth when activating stereoscopic 3D via Nvidia 3D Vision. Even if I disable the shadow in the graphics option, they are still rendered on the ground.
Below is a stereo screenshot showing the rendering issue in 3D. Simply cross-eyeing to merge the two images will show that the orange AoE is out of depth.
This issue did not occur before the patch.

Are you sure it’s not just someone opening the Steam Ogre event with a key without telling anyone else?
Yes. The key was not used. Like I said, the player blinked through the force field.
Apparently there seems to be a common occurrence where certain players blink through the force field at Thaumanova Reactor without the use of the Matrix Cube Key or without using any teleport skills, and kill the Steam Ogre for themselves, leaving EVERYONE in the reactor out of the event.
What to do…

Unfortunately the Vinewrath area doesn’t even provide a portal to leave if you joined a map instance that doesn’t have the area opened. You’ll have to run outside before you change map instance to avoid using a waypoint.
No replies. I guess this issue ends to “permanently bugged” category.

The font used in Guild Wars 2 lacks the ability to display major Asian characters.
This seems to have happened few weeks ago. If Risen Grenth of Priest teleports players behind the stacked coffins, they are no longer able to get out, because the top of the coffins have been blocked with an invisible wall, leaving dropped players stranded behind it until they are able to waypoint.
Additionally, you can’t get on the coffins on the front side either.
Thanks for fixing the wardrobe display bug, but the finisher window is still bugged.

Fixed the issue. Coax cable went bad so I replaced it. Up speed went from 0.37 Mbps back to 6.74 Mbps.
In multiple occasions today, I’m getting this strange lag from the game where the server is unable to receive ANY of my data packets (not responding to my skills at all), while downstream packets are fine as many people are running normal in-game.
At the time of this lag, Resource Monitor says gw2.exe is sending 0 KB/sec while I receive about 30-40 KB/sec from the game. Latency is just a mere 30-40 milliseconds. What’s going on with the game today?
Try pressing Alt+Enter. Does the game show up in a window?
In rare cases the invulnerable centaurs do not flee fast enough and attack Captain Edwards instead. The invulnerable effects do expire though.

We had a large guild that had setup for Triple Trouble meta event at Bloodtide Coast. After the escort finished, the map we were on abruptly shutdown WITHOUT NOTIFICATINON, and everyone got displaced into several instances of Bloodtide Coast.
So I wonder what is up with that.
Wasn’t sure if this was intentional or a bug. I’d move it but I’ll wait for a dev response.
I lit up firecrackers in and WvW and noticed that they make no audible noises, so I wonder what is up with that.

This is also an issue during Triple Trouble world event, where Husks can sometimes immobilize players at mid-air, making any stun-breaker skill unavailable and making the player very vulnerable from the wurm’s attacks.
Of course, not jumping will not solve this, as the Husk can involuntarily make you hop off the ground.
Actually I did get credit for the kill. I got event contribution bonus and exp shown in combat log, but no chest. That’s pretty lame.

I was not rewarded the large chests additional bonus chests after we killed the 3 champions and Vinewrath. The chest icon shown on the map but not on my view. WHAT HAPPENED?
A year since Origins of Madness this bug is still going.
I also noticed that the Shatterer’s roar is now silent during the encounter since the new patch today.
I noticed that Shadow Behemoth is now missing the roar sound as it summon portals since the new patch today.
Please disable the auto-activate field via mouse hover on the buy/sell window. I should be allowed to click on the gold/silver/copper field to activate it for input, not by hovering the mouse pointer over it.
A few times my numbers went in the wrong field before I clicked Sell due to the mouse hover capability, causing me to sell the item higher than intended.
It had spawned an hour ago since the new update. I was there to believe it.
Legendary Annihilator killed and the associated achievements unlocked. Everyone was happy. I just hope it continues to spawn over time for others to catch.
Since the release of Replica Job-o-Tron speech 2 months ago, the item generates an effect even worse than the ANet icons or the star/arrow icons.
In stereoscopic 3D, if the person with the Replica Job-o-Tron talks at a distance from you, the transparent speech bubbles renders in front of the screen (at UI or HUD screen level), rather then in depth with the player.
I am posting a stereoscopic screenshot taken by Nvidia screenshot key which shows the bug with the transparent speech bubbles. The image is for cross-eyed viewing. Shown below is the speech bubble rendered at the same depth as the HUD when it’s supposed to be positioned far-back.
I play this game with Nvidia 3D Vision. Seeing that these stereoscopic glitches have been unfixed for years while introducing new ones makes me wonder about this game’s loss of support for stereoscopic 3D gaming.

Hello! I have been receiveing the same type of email but from ArenaNet!!
I thought everyone has been made cleared about this:
I’m trying to sell Exquisite Ruby Jewel but the window that shows buyers’ price won’t load, and eventually goes to a popup that says “The game client is unable to gain access to the log-in server at this time.”
I can view the price lists of any other items (weapons, armors, food, etc) but not certain jewels like Exquisite Jewels, so I wonder what is up with that.
ADD: It seems to be happening to certain loot bags on TP as well.

It just got stalled within 5 minutes of the game update today. Apparently, prematurely destroying the north gate of Hunter’s Gorge before the NPCs could advance to it will stalled the whole meta event.

Before the exiting issue happened, did you guys by any chance used the portal to enter Bell Choir Ensemble instead of talking to the NPC?
I was at the Bell Choir Ensemble for a good 2 minutes when all of a sudden I got abruptly disconnected from the map, followed by another disconnect back to the desktop screen, so I wonder what is up with that.
Perfect… what I was hoping to be a trivial error ended up as a bug.
I’m this same bug as well when I try to get into Glint’s lair again. He doesn’t give me the option to examine the ornate hourglass.
Looks like access to Glint’s lair has been permanently blocked.
It gives me the option to “Continue this Episode” or “Replay this Episode”. But every time I click Continue it always loop back to “The Ghosts of Fort Salma.”
This is the only episode that is not marked complete, yet I have already completed it. What do?
