Ty G.
@Also some folks really enjoy dungeons like me and don’t really mind the low reward, huge time investment if taking new folks through.
I’d say bri was doing pretty well for an Explore despite our lack of communication. Think I was discussing builds, dungeon skill switch outs, weapons in situations, professions in dungeons. Kind of got carried away as Nubhead was asking about that sort of stuff.
I am always the go to guy for my bro and his friends even though they’ve played more.
@bri dungeons are unforgiving, cheap shots, and frustrating at times; however when everything comes together after countless groups, it’s a great feeling. For me I really like that enjoyment, trying anything and everything to think outside the box to overcome the obstacles.
Also in dungeons you can get away with a PvE build the main thing is awareness but also switching out weapons and skills depending on what you think you’re coming up against. E.g con removal with a Hammer and Greatsword for a condition heavy single target that hits hard but relatively low health.
If I make some coin that’s awesome, but for me the enjoyment is because of the challenge, helping others that want to give it go and for anyone up to learning a few thing.
Dungeons, the source of why this whole ‘thing’ started and the origin of my roots. So I’m bias. :P
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Awesome, depending on the server we’ve at least got a guild stash.
Just say hi in the chat normally there’s quite a few there.
Rewarding my self with a little down time on a free as did pretty well on my Chem test. Few sillies but won’t make the same mistake again. :P
Looks like getting into Med School is looking up.

Sorry, I was finishing up my usual school work, straight after work. So didn’t get on till later.
Seems like the experience left much to be desired. Well my bro was trying to lead but could’ve communicated it a lot better. Playing a ranger makes it harder on yourself as you have no way to remove stacks of conditions.
Using TS was probably what was holding up the typing as 3/5 were on TS.
Currently I’m training more runners but it’ll take a long time. Some will be good leaders others not so much. Hound and Nubhead make good team players but not very good leaders as they’re pretty impatient.
I think we were also mucking around that time too as we had new builds. Bro could’ve also explained better instead of on the fly.
I dunno maybe a story would have eased you into the mind set. My regulars are all set with the one hit, cheap shots and invisible conditions being applied.
Also the build for one may not work for something else. Stacking for slight toughness means you have leeway. You can run around as a cannon but you have to up the situational awareness.
I dunno, if you don’t like it noones forcing.you.

Yea Nel we get to see you soon!
Now that the little fiasco seems like it’s sorted.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
^ This lovely lady has all the answers.
Thanks Kit always nice that I can floss my teeth at a given notice. Now I really should go to bed like a good kid…

You have to get some Fine Transmutation Stones. Either from Gem store or lucky enough from BL chests.
That’s the only way I know of. Hope this helps.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
I can help lead CM. Maybe let my bro or Nubhead to take over. I know my way round the dungeons but I’m an AC Vet first.
Good to hear that you found it nice. I didn’t type much of a detailed explanation as I would Ex but you seemed to do great.
Just wait for the Explore rewards.
Also get the fancy tokens. Suddenly I want to get the gauntlets for CM.
We’ll try next week or something either a CM Story or an Ex of some type.
Also if Kit keeps giving free stuff I might as well use it.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Thanks folks. Another great chat for th evening
Great to see chat isn’t so empty anymore!
Congratz to Lexy for her first dungeon.
Congratz to G and Kit, now able to cause even more havoc !
Hmm… Not sure if Devout Keeper of The Shoe is a better title for Kit…
Nice chill dungeon run me and my bro was playing pass the parcel with our favourite boulder.
Kinda tricky at the end so many effects I couldn’t see the Foefire. :P
Wish there was an effects slider.
On to Ex next time.
I can also show you how to be a farming robot and not play it properly if you want.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Also I’ll be on later. For anyone wanting to run AC I’ll have 2 spaces (EU).
I’m sorting out the more serious dungeon on Aurora so that explains the lack of spaces. :P Still teaching Nubhead how to be a pro runner, with skill timing, interesting combs and out the box thinking. Slow process but it creates some awesome runners. Anyone interested on an EU server is welcome. I’ll try to provide some advice on dungeons and how to improve. I’m more knowledgeable on some classes than others so may not have some specific class advice.
War/Thief lucky. Guard/Range moderate knowledge rest no idea.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Just to clarify you CANNOT do dungeons with EU friends atm.
It is still restricted to NA/NA or EU/EU servers.
Unless they are on overflow it is not possible.
This is a problem Op: Union is currently having but we’re lucky enough to have lots of players on both sides of the pond.
I also suggest you find an NA server. TC and SoR are good I have a lot of folks on both servers just look on the Union thread for any help.
I used to be on an NA server as an EU player. You will always be on off peak times. Since moving there’s much more activity.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Thanks all.
@G did everything chase you while Kit could do whatever she wanted?
Good to hear that your expedition went well!
Sorry about forgetting to say goodnight. I had to quickly go to sleep to get up for work.
@FGreen cheers on the feedback I think most folks come to check out why there is an obscene amount of post on 1 thread.
Yea this is good as long as folks are just willing to drop in from time to time it’s all good.
Representing when with others is more than enough. Just gotta make sure Nubhead does it. XL
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
I managed to get 24/5g on one char and I’m still lvl 75 on my main. Trait books bought. However this does require you to run dungeons since lvl 27.
I got lucky with drops was running AC all the time since I was (and am) helping new folks with their first story/explore.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Thanks everyone. I think the support team who be a good thing to get going, to help the new players and help make the face of the Operation like you said Noppy.
I also thought that the mandatory representation would alienate folks.
I’d also like sonera feedback from newer members:
1. Are you enjoying the atmosphere?
2.It is what you hoped and does it keep to our ideals of helping others?
3.Did you also enjoy that you aren’t required for mandatory representation?
4.What drew you to this topic in the first place?
Just thought I’d get some feedback too.
@bri the dungeons are difficult at first as it requires a completely different playstyle and requires more attention than some realise. Such as watching other members conditions, your boons and tells etc.
However once you get used to it becomes easier ad second nature. Maybe try AC later as my bro was trying lead CM last time.
Eventually you cam make at least 1g in 24 mins excluding drops.
My speed runs normally take 8-10 mins
If you still like the look of the AC med armour we can run that later.
Omerk: me, my bro and Fred Probs running AC paths around 2000/2100 GMT.
You can go on dungeon crawls, speed running you can make a quite a bit providing you got the right team. Most paths can be sped run in 10mins.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Ahh so glad that it’s met with a resounding NO!
I personally thought that it would contradict our motto if I forced folks.
Good to see more people you’re always welcome!
Probably be on in the evening again GMT
I got some more revision work to do after work.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Lol deffy it doesn’t matter.
Good to see the awesome ladies beat me to it.
Was to see you for a while. Had to go sleep as work tomorrow.
Hope you continue to have fun.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Thanks folks.
@G and Kit
Always good to have the support of the dynamic duo!
Also RL stuff always comes before all especially family, we’ll always be on support if you happen to need us whatever it is.
Why the change Kit? Run out of hairbrushes?
Got to meet Tess in game so that was nice
@Tour
You’re in for a treat there’s quite a few GH helping out. If you’re ever in need of a dungeon I’m only a whisper away.
Yea so I’ll kick back with relaxed atmosphere. Guild that’s always a laugh.
Kaii still thinks I’m bugtopia. Guesting = Agent Smith time
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
(edited by Glitch.6849)
Cheers G. That was my consensus. It was an interesting point so thought I’d bring it up. However I don’t want to be an idiot and force people. That’s not what I do, also it would be limiting the player base we get.
As always I’ll post up my thoughts and discuss before further action from you folks or any member.
I don’t really want to go back to the old ways where it’s represent or die.
People can do what they wish, I don’t mind.
However I think it would be wise to devise a support team to actively help folks. I’m always on dungeon duty.
Cheers to the folks that steered me away from the dark side.
Also G have you talk to our family about our Op? Or would they like to stay in their inner circle? Just a thought, not forcing for more members.
@Chandelier Akamon and a few others help with dungeons on the NA side. If we had guesting I would glady help with the farming.
Guesting really is the only thing stopping this!
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Yay you finally got your sticky!
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Above are all good choices also Gunnar’s Hold and Aurora Glade are pretty good.
GH good all round.
AG suited towards dungeons and More difficult content. Average WvW presence.
Also check out Operation: Union if you want to ask more questions many there willing to help.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
@bri sorry! I also said I’d make up for repairs. Must be my luck. I ended up making 60+ silver with rares and reward in that run.
Us 3 in the group enjoy the challenge as it really changes the game on standard pve play.
Also I would like to bring up a very good point brought up by Satsugai.
Should Representation be Mandatory?
I do agree non representation discourages our newer folks. However that does mean I go back on ny saying where I would allow members their freedom.
When the website is completed I will create an Officers Application that will be our dedicated team which are very active, this will be for our serious members that really do want to take a more active role. Acting as recruiters and support team.
What does everyone think? Should it now be Mandatoryfor newer members to represent to create a more active Operation and easier to support one another.
This will definitely create more accessibility but to me removes sense of freedom for players that they are constricted.
Does this defeat the point of the Operation? Or is it indeed to relaxed
I do want everyone’s input before I make such a decision.

Thanks G.
@bri I understand the discouragement but they’re a good place for a challenge a great fun with some friends. It’s not a bad source of money either.
If you’re still interested in the AC armour just send me a whisper later. Same goes for anyone else. I’ll do my best not to rack up any unnecessary repair bills. Being a Ranger also makes things a bit more tricky as mobs do an insane amount of conditions and with the lack of removals it’s a bit of a problem.
I’ll always be there to help if you decide that you want the AC armour.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Oh so look who decided to turn up?
Hurry. Up. And. Get. Pc. Running.
;)
Sorry everyone who’s waiting. Those differentials just got away from me.
I enjoy maths.
I get on in a minute. Thanks for your patience !
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Okay folks I’m back from college after great day of leaning.
Haha good one G. I’m just the idiot that dragged (now a lot) people with me!
Gotta to do a bit of hwk first so hang in there.
I’m still wondering where this mass influx of everyone came, can someone please tell me?
Don’t get me wrong it’s awesome just a tad bit confused.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Also there is a Warrior skills called Frenzy that speeds up attack animations.
I use it a lot in PvP and Dungeons if you want to burn things quickly.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
On Friday I’ll be there don’t worry bri!
Three man AC is possible but really hard, probably shouldn’t try it on your first go.
Alright, alright don’t get your knickers in a twist. I’ll pop on after college and buy more space. You folks just use me for my money.
Welcome to everyone new here! Sorry I have a hard time catching up with the flood of awesomeness!
Just be patient and I’ll buy some more space in…. 6 hours?

This thread will never back down will it?
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
@Noppy, Yay you’re back! Hurry up and get your pc delivered soon!
Conform to our collective! One of us!
@Deffy ahh good old duck hunt on the Nes, that was before my time too. Then Streetfighter, Gunstar Heroes and Streets of Rage on the Megadrive.
Depends, I don’t mind the profanity, even used a lot as I game with a load of college and uni folks so used to it.
Just some folks prefer that the profanity kept to the minimum, as some are trying to keep up a good example for their young kids.
Just depends who your around.
Your welcome to join our TS my bro could possibly keep up a dedicated server from his laptop. (he suggested it once) I’ll put up details once I get the green light.
Yea our teamspeak is the one with the frequent profanity.
We also rip each other (Don’t worry no racism
)
I make a mission of trolling a specific Nubhead everytime we game.
Sorry I can’t always be nice to everyone this balances it out. Be kind to the Union, annoy the hell outta my bro’s friend.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Warn welcome to everyone new here.
@Debsy don’t worry about being nosy we don’t mind.
As always. As long as you have the heart.
To all you rangers wanting to tackle dungeons. Which one gets to be Robin Hood?
Ditto to what Debsy said hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving !
I really do hope our thanksgiving present will be guesting.
still crossing fingers and waiting patiently
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Actions speak louder than words buddy.
Looks like this is mutating into a troll thread. I’m out.
The Legion comes first.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Hello DEK and Deb! Big welcome to both of you!
There are quite a few of us. We’re all dotted around the place. You can do dungeons cross server as long as you’re in the same region. Sucks until Guesting as I’d e more than willing but I’m on an EU.
@Deb If you want to get to know some folks just post any questions here. A lot of our members are always around.
Also don’t worry about being late, as long as you got here!
@DEK most members have not yet moved into Fractuals but there’s loads willing to learn. (I had a few completions but only low tiers due to no A.Gear.)
Hey Deb who says we ain’t elitist? We’re very serious about those who truly want to help others and want to make a better community. We’re still all about meeting new folks and having a laugh first though.
As long as you got the heart.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Yea seems like they’re more asking for a trade off or something?
However the items you are asking pretty pricey so I think folks are more reluctant to help. Also the fact that guild members will take a priority for these sort of things.
Such as I’m more willing to help my Union Vets or more involved members with the likes as I know they won’t just ask, receive and bugger off.
I dunno I’m trying to think positively but bit sceptical. Maybe the phrasings rubbing me the wrong way. This comes across as a random appeal, sorry but don’t really like those things.
I’m all for helping people but not giving out handouts, maybe if they deserve them for a job well done. Then again like most people that’ll be reserved for the ones they trust.
I say just carry on doing this yourself it’s only going to take a little while longer no big deal.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
I remember saying Anet currently cannot refund accidental purchases. Sorry to be the one to rain on your parade but you are out of luck at the moment. Unfortunately you just have to be careful and take your time when purchasing pricey items.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Me and Gully are talking about 2 different things.
Currently: You ARE able to party cross server abiding that you are on the same region. This allows for cross server dungeon participation.
Not yet implemented: The feature ‘Guesting’ is not currently out this allows you to roam around the world together, not just locked to dungeons.
Hope this clears it up. Currently you can only play cross server in dungeons. (possibly personal stories)
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Nice work bri. I’ve also put it in the top post. So we won’t lose it.
This bit more work than TS but I think I can read the instructions.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Good idea Arc. We’re beginning to get more organised and begin such this like these. A website will be available soon.
In the meantime.
Server: Aurora Glade
Class: Warrior lvl 75
Service: MOAR AC EX/Story!
Time: 1900/2000 to 2300 GMT Fri to Sun.
Note: However I also use such times to help the newer folks with my Operation and get them settled with my limited time but will try and make time for ones wanting to try their first dungeon.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
You always seemed like both very nice people. Is there something I don’t know about…???
I dunno there frequent swear hear and there. I don’t know if many like that. Also there is constant ripping of each other. I purposely stood in front of Nubhead while he was downed dancing in front of him while laughing at him in TS. This erupted so much profanity from him, I naturally again continued to laugh. I enjoy tolling our group from time to time. Like when he was down in AC Ex concentrating on Kohler I find the Troll and bring to him.
I have mumble client downloaded too. It really does depend if you’re willing to put up with the occasional profanity. I know folks such as Omerk wouldn’t like the environment being a parent and all, preferring a less swear free talk.
Seriously they swear a lot for some reason when all of them are around. Probably should get them checked for tourettes. :P
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Good find delmarqo!
I don’t it has been posted on this thread. I haven’t been away of this thread myself.
bri just send the details here and I’ll add it to the front page.
It’ll be good for everyone interested. I’m unsure about the Teamspeak thing, possibly keeping it separate as my brother and his friends get pretty vocal even when messing about. I doubt many of you will enjoy the frequent cursing from what I gather.Still welcome to join if you want.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
@Rygaros yes you can invite players cross server like normal, you can just right click their name and invite to party as usual. As long as their in the same region they’ll end up in the dungeon.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Np have fun and watch out for the traps and conditions.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
@Kaii Ty for the tip must’ve been doin it wrong.
However I might stick with my crazy string of code. Everyone else can be the professional ones.
Big welcome to all you new folks! Hope you enjoy your stay.
@bri good luck, I still got my trendy bog standard gear.
I’m a man of practicality, I’ll get on the style boat later.
If I ever get a precursor I don’t want I’ll be sure to put it up here.
Good to read through the news everyone, enjoy the day while I only have 2 lessons for college.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Haha that always funny!
Sometimes I think I’ll never understand the enemy mechanics. This happens to my bro or if we’re in a party with his friend Nubhead everything will go after him!
I stand their laughing at him of course while the boss runs after him, especially when me and my bro took him to do AC Ex for the first time.
Makes you wish you should’ve taken a screen or tried recording it via fraps. :P
Also Lexy I think you should try your hand at more of this adventure writing!
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
I still do recommend NS if you want to randomly start a conversation with pretty much anyone. There’s still many beautiful people there.
As usual I recommend Sanctum of Rall, Tarnished Coast are also good places for community. (TC is getting a bit harder to get into but well worth it if you do
)
Sorry I have a lot of negativity about the NS incident as they messed up a really amazing server.

At least you got something you wanted, even if it wasn’t tied to the event.
Most of that tried the event were met by barriers of bugs and lag.
The last event was pretty bad getting booted out of the game just when about to open the reward chest after spending 2/3 hours on a laggy/buggy event. Some couldn’t even log in full stop.
I myself steered clear of the event after being unsuccessful in phase I and II. I spent my time playing a bit of Halo while I wait it out.
At least I can catch up on everyone over here though.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
Ermm. Bad words, term used by some USMC soldiers I know. Guess I got the habit from them.
Stands for F’d Up Beyond All Recognition. The NS community from my experiences were great before the ‘pro teams’ and Ascension Alliance messed up such a good community. Basically the story was The Alliance (full of allegedly pro teams blah blah blah, moved there. After a crushing defeat from some rivals they all picked up and left causing all sorts havoc and messing with the NS community after lying about ideals that their interest was trying to form a better community my butt.)
So the NS folks were left for dead. There has been a great restart and I hope that NS continues to thrive. It is doing fairly well now but there is still a lot if resentment about the whole debacle.
Have no fear about it being messed around again. If you do decide to move you’ll be met with good sociable folks. There’s a fair amount of people even on offpeak hours.
Good luck gervan,

Hey there Rygaros.
Currently you are restricted to dungeons. You can run if you are either EU/EU or NA/NA as you stated.
As with enjoying pve together on that is not possible but maybe in due time with guesting it will be possible.
This lack of guesting annoys me now as it’s been a while. Really hindering my Operation.
Hope this answers your question.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/OPERATION-UNION-Bringing-Players-Together
This is coming from a former NS player. The population when I was there was fairly high even in off peak hours. There were quite a lot of friendly people most of the time but mainly a friendly environment. Reasons for moving I was playing off peak hours, moved back to an EU server as it suited my time frame and take lead on a newly formed guild.
Guilds I’m not that too sure about. There are still a few moderate to large guilds but due to the stupid Ascension Alliance FUBAR, NS was still recovering and still is from what I hear.
Lots of folks to do dungeons normally with a friendly communicative bunch. General sociability was fairly good fairly easy to talk to others but you do run into one or too that aren’t too friendly.
It’s okay but the stupid alliance FUBAR means the NS community is recovering but doing well with what they have.

@Aden Celeste:
The name section is for you to add your account name or whatever you’d like to preferably be called.
Good to hear you’re having a great day Kit and also hope everyone else is too. Currently bored doing Calculus, don’t worry it’s nice and easy.
I’ll be on later on in the week to catch up on what I missed, however the temptation of pwning console noobs is all too tantalising.
However thanks for the interest.
Also this is already on pg 11? This is soooooooooooooooooo long.
Praying Kit does throw more shoes… prepares to dodge a hug…

G, as always everyone’s welcome!
Once Guesting is on. It’ll be even better. Main thing that’s disappointed me, put guesting in! I can live with the bugs if I get more social interaction with my new friends.
It’ll be a good laugh for everyone.
Bring Kit along so I can see why everything enjoys attacking you.
Maybe you have cookies in your pockets?
