Aurora Glade is about awesome dungeon running lot if you’re interested in that. Average at at WvW though. :P

It’s all how you interpret bri’s statement.

There are plenty of mainly English servers.

Gunnar’s Hold is a good one has many English speaking people
Aurora Glade is a good one but does contain a fair amount of German and Dutch speakers.
Just got to know where to look.

In my experience as I did this. I used to be a Brit playing on an American server NS. It was alright but playing off peak there still weren’t many folks to game with being off peak (You presume because of the large pop. there’d be more but not the case) The folks were alright but even most just kept themselves to themselves.

It’s just that like in life you’re going to meet different people.

I would also like to extend my appreciation to all members, those that stay and continue to be part of this movement. I know it ain’t much yet but maybe later.

It was good to see new faces last weekend too!

Yea SoR is pretty cool Lionbeard check out the ones everyone has already mentioned.

Also we are not ‘Listed’ on that guild site as I have not registered it. (Unless someone else has)

I like to think of this more of a Movement/Opportunity for folks to socialise with others and be there for those that keep an interest.

@Jia I feel for ya. I managed too 2/3 paths today. P1 bugged out at the bit just before the scepter pieces. Silly Hodgins just didn’t feel like talking and moving the chain along.

We’ll be running good groups soon enough with Guesting then this Op can be even better.

Aww that sucks Jia I’ll be organising some sort of dungeon help for EU players. However someone told me it works for all could try it anyway.

We’ll be running AC stories and Explore at around 1900 to 2000 GMT.

All the mentioned are good servers as I know some of these folks here and a lot on the mentioned servers.

If EU:
Gunnar’s Hold (Good folks, good WvW from what I’ve seen)
Aurora Glade (Good folks, more suited to the serious PvE stuff, average WvW, currently getting smashed by GH. AG doesn’t play WvW that much)

If NA:
Sanctum of Rall (Good folks and community, good all round)
Tarnished Coast (Relaxed atmosphere, unofficial RP server)

These are the ones I’ve had most experience about from Operation: Union and the members feedback and talks.

Hmm…. Why not try Sanctum of Rall or Tarnished Coast if you can on. Both have great folks there and is pretty active.
I know a few folks on both.

These are just some suggestions. As me being an EU player and all.

@Loperdos don’t worry about server we have a few folks on SOR. One of the Founders, Akamon is on the same server. Always willing to talk and help out.

Also a note to all current Unionists. I will most likely reorganise the ranks. Adding a little server tag to each rank so it’s easier at a glance to see what server everyone’s on.

All of us understand that everyone has other things in their life such work, college, children and spouses etc. (I don’t have the last two)

We understand as we are involved with at least one of those things. The only thing I truly ‘want’ is that people just take an interest and get involved!

To me there is a correlation between those who do not participate in chatting with the other members are the ones that leave.

Ahh well, this was set up to provide an opportunity and I have the utmost respect for those that initially took an interest and continually take an active interest and participate.

So hopefully this will continue to grow and provide such an opportunity to others in the future. It has improved my experience tenfold just knowing I’ve got some kind folks that I can just talk to about anything really.

If you DID think everything would be given to you maybe it wasn’t the place for you. Operation: Union is an OPPORTUNITY. You will have to work to establish bonds between fellow Unionists.

Just sonthoughts. I’d love to hear from The Founders about this too. Have you lot heard about the reasons why?

They are European servers maybe their dedicated servers are fairly full?
It is always good to learn a new language.

Zomby, may I also ask what your play preference is?
Such as PvE, dungeons, PvP etc.?

For overall community Gunnar’s Hold is up there with Pike Square both awesome folks on each.

Aurora Glade (which I am on) has a good community with pretty strong guild activity. It is leaning to a more ‘serious’ side such as Dungeons and PvP. However it is populated with folks like me that help out new folks when we can.

All of the mentioned are prodominately English speaking from my experience.
If you’re looking for some folks about their server experience ask the folks over at Operation: Union.

Well try choosing the server in the early hours?
However like in life you won’t always get what you want. However eventually when guesting is involved you can game together. Why not trying to make new friends too if you can’t get on the server?

If you return the game because of this you really are missing out and that would be unfortunate.

Ah I know what’s that like.

If you’re trying to get on the server it’s best to try at off peak hours i.e early morning etc.
The server population depends on the number of ACTIVE players at that time not the overall population.

It’s there to help others find others to game with. You do have to make the effort though. It will not be laid on a silver platter for you but if you are willing to naked an effort you will be pleasantly surprised.

Just to say it is definitely possible to recreate Geralt as I did once.

As you have smokebombs and stuff. Using bombs and potions is kinda hard to do. :P
Maybe an alchemist class will be released?

Maybe you can use a ranger without a pet if you don’t think it fits.

Also a HUGE APOLOGY to all the players I haven’t responded to that have taken an interest an invite will he arriving shortly. I’ve been engrossed in helping some of my bro’s friends that have recently got the game.

I’ll put up some screens later on the dungeon run. Ran it 5 times in total with my bro and didn’t mind when I got hit with DR.

Okay if I remember correctly BT is EU.

I fully recommend either Aurora Glade or Gunnar’s Hold. Both have a great communion friendly folks.

If you are more interested in running dungeons lean more to AG. If you want help on AG I can assist. I mainly help newer players with AC story/explore.

Why not take some time to look at Operation: Union too?

Don’t worry, we’re are NOT a group of Elitists! We’re just some folks who decided it would be nice to help others and were kinda fed up with gaming alone. So Op: Union was born to help other players to hopefully find others to game with on their server (Hopefully with guesting out soon we can ALL get together!)

So yea, any questions you have feel free to ask ‘em here! If you do want to take time to just get that little bit better we’re there to help in that area too, but mostly we just look for some awesome people like yourself to just talk to. Anyway I also mash buttons, I seem to get some pretty good results.

Also we definitely have understand people want to represent different guilds at a time so we don’t discriminate there. Just that if you do get together with some fellow players just represent there.

Also you are not required to game all day and every day. All of us totally understand you have other things to do in life. E.g work/college/family whatever.

This kid totally understands as I’ve got college, volunteer and part-time work myself. :P

If you are on an EU server I’d glad to help you in story dungeons, especially AC. My friend Lexy says I practically live there.

If you are on an NA Server I’m sure I can rustle up some of my American buddies to lend a hand.

As said GH is a good bet, I know quite a few folks there that are really kind.
I’m on Aurora Glade myself that is also pretty full of mature players but leans more towards more serious play eg. Constant dungeon runners etc.

If you’re looking for a nice relaxed atmosphere definitely go for GH
Also it would be great if you visited my thread (link in my Sig) if you want to see what the folks on GH are like or just meet some awesome people in general.
