i dont want to support sitting in deathshroud. its already way too much focus of our class. i know its our class mechanic but putting every trait on deathshroud?
so after seeing some good duels from good necros for a change its pretty obvious that full signet necros sadly is the best build. signet of suffering together with plague sending and 4 signets is just enough of a gimmick to constantly convert and transfer condis. the necro does not even need to use weapon skills he just needs to stay alive. i like that we were the kings of transfer but this is much is just kittened. people were even thinking the necros bug using cause hes just playing full tank and then spamming signets. this is why corruptions got nerfed. 4 signets builds are the new condi necro

the biggest whiners sub forum is the necro forum only that most of it has a good reason. i would pay money for buffs at this poimt in time
yes weakness cripples power build but im asking myself why he was playing a power build. with his skill level he could wreck everybody with condi. boring but effective. and i know that condi necro is the main counter for condi engi but i think chaithh could have done it
well they just nerfed barbed precision to 33% because they thought necro was too much condi damage
so karl was playing necro the whole streams. he played a hybrid necro to get a bit of life force regeneration. i was really surprised how well he did in the duels against top tier roaming streamers. he pressured successfully to hit sos and then followed with fear. stopped doing condi damage when shin used resistance and switched to axe and so on. he saw many matchups today and won against all of them atleast once….except engi because engi…
but with all of this he didnt have master of corruption because even he realized thats its more of a burden than a gain. maybe we’ll see some changes

it has no cd u can switch at any time. spamming one seems quite nice damage but i think condi burning engi will actually do more consistent dps than both zerker and mortar zerker. but all this was just taken from one stream
i was watching dps when he tested it in full zerker with pack runes
they also removed the side effect from thiefs quickness and buffed all of them with something else but thats not what this topic is about

but before it was 10% damage when holding an axe meaning axe skills, offhand skills and even deathshroud got the damage buff. now its 10% increase to 3 skills (2 of them useless) only if the target has vuln. its a huge nerf.

rangers “guard” has a cast time (which will be removed tomorrow) and all reaper shouts will have a cast time
as he is a new player we might as well say him how to get the gear. i recommend you to do citadel of flames p1 (and p2 if u want) daily to get tokens. in lions arch u can buy berserker (power precision ferocity) armor and weapons from the citadel of flame trader near the fractals of the mist portal. for trinkets i recommend u get an exotic backpiece made via armor smithing its a level 78 exotic with only 3 stat points lower than an ascended if u put an "embellished brilliant ruby jewel" in it. i advice u to level armor smith (and weapon smith) with a guide from http://gw2crafts.net/ so u dont waste ur money. ascended accessorys can be bought for 12 guild commendations (u get them from guild missions) at the guild commendation trader in lions arch. when u want to buy 2 berzerker (power precision ferocity) pieces watch out to buy the 2 with different names as u cannot wear 2 of the same unique item. ascended rings can be gotten from fractals (buy 2 different one aswell) and u can get ur ascended amulet from a laurel merchant in any major city for 30 laurels. i recommend u to take one with an utility slot. for runes as already said scholar of youre good and have the money. flame legion is a good cheap alternative. i know this is a lot of information and a few things might change with the patch tomorrow. have fun

the trap build is a really really nice idea considering there is really nothing else to pick in deadly arts adept. gj i will keep an eye on this. but i dont think recourceful trapper is a complete cooldown reset
If it doesn’t heal, then it sucks. Wastes 1/5 of healing, since you have just 4 allies in PvP and dungeons.

or a ranger pet xD #worth. on a more serious note it shouldnt heal the necro in its current form its way too strong
yes u can easily reach 1900-2000 healing power atm. i have full ascended cleric gear with monk runes from the times where well of blood was not nerfed so that would be 700 healing per pulse with 9 pulses not considering the healing increase on allies + all siphon procs from these pulses + life from death... why are we even talking about consume condition nerfs if this goes to live. transfusion heals a lot even without healing power. this would be kittened.
transfusion heal caster? thats a horrible idea and i dont think anet would buff necro like that
Compared to now this would still be a nerf considering you get 10 stacks of vuln (and another one with MoT) if your cast is interrupted.
Also, the healing amount of Consume Conditions is rather low to begin with, so an extra condition or two to consume doesn’t make that big of a difference, especially when you might already have the same condi on you before using the skill.
i know but does anet know? i dont want to sound pessimistic but these changes would make the heal more appealing and change nothing about the situation anet (for some reason) wants to fix
Warrior damage was nerfed but not anywhere the near 80%. It seems pretty obvious to me that Warlord was just exaggerating to get the point across that the nerfs accumulated to huge losses overall.
From before ferocity rolled out up until right about now, warrior’s DPS with 65003 was nerfed by roughly 30%. This is an estimate based off of the damage used to hit compared to what I hit now.
But the thing about this 30% number is that some of the larger nerfs weren’t warrior-exclusive and affected all classes. However one huge one was a nerf to the might boon which kind of impacted warrior a lot because of the forceful GS trait.
It doesn’t matter anymore to me however, since the changes overall for PvE warrior are beneficial.
The only two large complaints that I have are:
a) Arms has some overall pretty crappy options, especially at the Master level. :/
b) Banners were nerfed pretty badly due to the inspiring banners trait being completely removed. I would have expected this to become either baseline or for sure left in the tactics line, as it is one of the most often used traits in dungeons/fractals. It’s bizarre to me that they completely removed it.
thank you and yeah i know he was exaggerating but warlord is doing this so often and it isnt helping the community to rage about the changes so i wanted to carefully and extensively show him that it isnt as bad as he thinks. warriors will always have a role in pve with banners and might support. the major changes as u and i said were universal changes like the might one. i also dont understand why they removed inspiring banners and i really hope its merged with inspiring banners or baseline. this update in a whole is beneficial as u now dont have to sacrifice personal dps for phalanx so imo he shouldnt complain so much as other classes have way bigger problems.
really nice idea but they would have to nerf the healing or increase the cast time if they dont want to buff the skill which, lets be honest, they dont want to do

critical strikes adapt and master and even gm depend on the situation
and shadow arts vs other trait lines depend on use for the thief too (stealth for skips vs evades for solos/hard encounters) but im not a theorycrafter
thats still not clear imo. its nice that u added that u want to ADD an effect not replace it. but should the warden block melee attack so it doesnt get hit? should it get invincible? should it take the damage u get when ur in an area around it? should it render everything around it completely immune to melee cleave damage (which needs to be specified too) and itself on top of it? its a nice thing to say it blocks damage. but the question is how? because there is no skill in the game that blocks melee damage other than an invuln so we dont know how to do that
i think making the live versions might affect allies would be enough. i think there is no need to buff or nerf the bleeds as our weapon do enough bleeding. it shouldnt be the main reason for taking this utility (as it is now). other classes can deal more bleeds anyways. were not the kings and queens of conditions and putting everything onto one thing...we saw what happned to dhuumfire and signet of spite
yes nobody should ever use it but while were on the topic of necromancer there is a whole lot more than was never used. and necros still only have 1 good heal which is getting nerfed hard. so whining about not having more options is kinda luxury. its important that were showing anet whats useless but they dont regularly read the forums to notice. i know its a bad trait and i will never take it but there are so many bad traits and we waited months for this update

it is still zerker armor and weapons with %damage sigils and scholar runes so nothing new there.
moving on to the traits and now comes the best thing xD nothing has changed. u can literally play the exact same build as on that day on the live servers

so the damage cant be lower than during the June 25th 2013 patch because u can literally play the same build.
lets look at some other changes:
-there was no ps warrior so u had no guaranteed 25 might as eles could pre stack might but not stack during combat
-might was nerfed from 35power/condi dmg to 30. keep in mind that this happend to every single profession
-gs axe build came into existence. people went back into arms and dual wield agility was introduced so pure axe warrior got even better
-the ferocity changes were introduced changing the 10%crit dmg to 150ferocity (no loss)
so in conclusion im desperately looking for a reason why warrior deals less damage now than in the past. sure he might deal less damage in comparrison to other classes but saying that a damage non-ps warrior deals 80% less damage than in the past is just ignorant.
its okay, there are way more boon stripping in heart of thorns so its balanced ! :p

edit: and u edited it again so berserkers power was changed from adapt tier to gm on 25th june 2013. lets see how warrior damage was at that point in time to how it is now
