Theres a bunch of old threads on this and I believe at one point they said they were looking into it.

My idea would be to make the guild rank symbols within the guild UI be able to toggle on map tags so that only other guildies could see each other along with rank. This way your guild could at least set up smaller groups or simply there own zerg on a map without disturbing anyone outside of your guild. You would also know where you GM was at all times.

Looking for Guardians, Necros, Thieves, and Warriors with ability in wvw especially! Pm me or anyone in this thread in game, or visit PRAE.shivtr.com if you are interested. We aren’t interested in people who want to be elitists, just people who want to do elite jobs!

Relatively easy to generate from the API but it isn’t as good as you could get from the in game files. In this case it doesn’t help to have imgur recompress it.

I need a high resolution image of a borderland map in wvw! Just an image of the entire map of ONE borderland zoomed out enough to capture just that bl. I’ve looked all over online and there seems to be very little good maps of just one borderland with ruins included.

If anyone can do this and post it here I would appreciate it. I am making art as a borderland map and I can’t get good enough quality atm.

If they don’t put pve dueling in, I think it would be worth while to do simple 1v1 tournaments in the game with rankings and everything.

I’ll be updating this one soon—I still feel there is an ultimate build using might that might be more effective. If I run around with a small group I can transfer stacks upon stacks of might—it seems to be really effective when I’m surrounded by guardians.

My ultimate build would be one where I play like a PU only I don’t use PU trait—only the same common utilities for escapibility..the only problem is I need signet in there to transfer might to my party—I opt for getting rid of blink and relying on mass invis, decoy, and manta of resolve..it’s really all you need in a roaming party. Also still having deceptive evasion because why not? With deceptive evasion you can buy so much time in a fight. So why not just 6/4/4/0/0? Now I am built like a class cannon while getting might the whole time—my phantasms cut through people like butter and just pew pews from gs does a lot of damage. I dont’ need PU

If anyone can come up with builds similar please let me know. Here are some things I must have:
GS and Sword/pistol or torch
The most amount of damage possible from phantasms.
2x Superior Runes of Fire+Strength+Hoelbrak
Superior Sigils of Battle on all weapons

Oddly, I was having odd mishaps all night last night with my blink as well as some invisibility traits when dueling in my guilds arena. Usually if something doesn’t activate than I don’t look into it too deeply because there is probably an obviously a reason….but when you KNOW you got a skill off you can feel it and if it doesn’t work I come to this thread.

I say Sylari not unlike my mesmer. It’s such a cool race to play as a light caster type character. Not to mention you are now arguably the most original rpg profession and also perhaps the most original rpg race—this is up for debate of course.

It made me think it would be cool to have new dyes perhaps that could create particle effect like this, or some kind of enchantment.

This updated build is good if you are roaming with a small group. Mantra of resolve is now my favorite condition removal utility with this build. Make sure you charge it before battle, and if you need to recharge during a fight pop it and go right into a blink as the blink won’t cancel out the charge.

Make ALL fire skills more powerful.

Refill ALL endurance when attunements are switched.

Tornado Elite should make you invulnerable.

For me its a hard choice between Bountiful Disillusionment and Power lock.

On my mesmer I typically do power PU builds but in wvw do a PU might stacking build to transfer to allies as well as my phantasms—so bountiful dissillusionment would be great for that.

Power Lock would help me a lot against Ham/bow warriors though probably. . .

The purpose of this thread is not to convince you or anyone that you should like or join our guild…Nor is the meaning of the words you are reading to try and add any possible weight to the credibility of our guild, but, more simply, that there are words attached and that the length of the words attached look good.

With a closer look, I shouldn’t even have to convince you to like or join our guild—the clean contemporary design of our website and nifty way the “a” and “e” in our guild tag are joined together forming an Æ (vague latin symbol known as a ligature) should.

For one, you may not really know what is going on in the world of wvw. Let me implore you—we think we may know someone who really knows someone who thinks they know what is really going on, and this has made people think that we may know what is really going on, so we are probably your best bet…

We do have integrity though… Our mission statement for the brand new year is: To cause kittenloads of havoc for our enemies with havoc squads. We do this by systematically forming an elite cooperative networking of very potent havoc squads running around the map. Want your own squad? Join us, and we will hand you the keys to a brand new life in wvw. Want to zerg? No! you can’t; that’s not in our mission statement.

We also occasionally flirt with spvp, tpvp and guild missions every week…if you don’t believe me look at our calendar on PRAE.shivtr.com, OR, don’t bother, and PM me in game.

Thanks a lot everyone! I’m having a lot of fun with this build and even a newer one using Gs/sword torch and more traditional PU build.

@Loony yes, it’s not set in stone, but the far reach of your blink you have to use as perhaps your most vital escape ability because you are sacrificing other escape mechanisms.

The condition removal is the worst problem with this build but you can get away with using arcane thievery or perhaps null field. The build is honestly better with running a squad or pvp team. If not and I am being killed by stacks of conditions, the PU can give you enough time to escape while the conditions cd.

Orrian truffle and beef stew which gives you a stack of might every time you dodge—use this along with superior sharpening stone to get better dodge cd. I’ve been stacking up to 25 stacks of might while in prolonged fights in wvw although it’s hard to get up there unless you use your interrupts wisely.

make sure all your weapons have sigil of battle for a stack so every time you weapon swap you get a stack.

bountiful interruption stacks with how many enemies you can interrupt simultaneously also, so if you interrupt 3 people thats an automatic 15 stacks of might etc.

I pretty much always have at least five stacks on me without even trying in a fight, 15 is pretty easy and 25 takes some skill but can be done quickly with practice. Your allies will love roaming around with you.

One of the issues I am having is transferring the larger amounts of might to my allies which is caused I believe because the might duration you get from your runes doesn’t transfer, perhaps only the might you would have normally—i’m not positive on this yet though.

I do like this GS/Staff MightWitch build but am also interested in simply doing more of a PU Might Witch build for wvw using a GS/Sword Torch. You don’t get the toughness from staff, but you get more invisibility from torch’s prestige and also just do a lot of damage if you can hit with blurred frenzy while having some might up.

Anyway, thanks for checking out this build and any help with it is appreciated.

Hylek…they are amphibious, so good on land and water for an aquatic race, plus you can make different colors/patterns. I would honestly rather opt for Hylek than Largos, as I find the choice more distinctive for an aquatic race than simply a strange humanoid with wing fins. Their animations are awesome. Plus,it’s an animal race in accordance with the charr, and who doesn’t want a frog elementalist?

Tengu…of course the most viable at this point. I want a skeksi necromancer!

You are sacrificing some usual traits, but I can attest that the new ones are addictive. You are getting more reach and shorter cd’s with manipulation skills and you are getting a lot of ways to get might in a very short time.
Pay attention to the runes and sigils as well as the consumables in wvw.
