If a fear of something is crippling your ability to do or enjoy something you really like/love, it’s time to get help. Don’t ask people to cater to you (or in this case, your friend). I understand that phobias can be considered a disability, but they come in literally every shape and size. It’s only logical you seek help for your problem instead of asking others to change for you.

Strategy can trump numbers, this is true in life and in game, running around in a blob means those players lose their identity, a lesser group who good leadership can out move the larger force, an even better smaller group can focus target key players, and perform an organized retreat while another group takes a key location.

in the end their zerg will have to split or lose keep.

in the end its all about stratergy, if you have no good commanders or players able to do it, then well.. your screwed.

You can put past events anywhere, just need to make them an instance, fractals don’t need to be used as an excuse. If past events were to ever come back, I wouldn’t want them to have any association with fractals or dungeons. I’m sure there are other things we can do to spice up the PvE grind.

However, my best times have been in Upscale Parties. Me and hubby rolled a pair of warriors, invited a nearby baby ranger and went camp/flag/quag flipping. If it’s a quiet time, we may be cheeky and take a tower. It’s a challenge not getting walloped when you don’t have any special skills and in many cases haven’t even unlocked your weapons yet.

Just talk to your guildmates and see who has a char about your ‘age’. You’d be surprised the number of points that can be gained for your server with a little gang of roaming youngsters. I also find it’s a lot of giggles and very uplifting, since quite frequently one of us will /say “Hell yeah lvl 17!” and then the gratz will fly. I know it will be my turn in a few camps. We swap the loots we get and between us craft ourselves all new sets of gear at all the major level-milestones.

Play whichever you like. Both engi and ranger have viable builds that can work in group set ups. What makes them both kind of useless is because any other class can do whatever it is they’re trying to do better, faster, and/or easier (except Entangle, maybe).

Anyone who says all an engineer can so is drop turrets is seriously dumb and you should never listen to them about any class in the game. Do what you want to do, play them both and see what you like. You can be whatever you want to be, I believe in you.

Why would you want anything that was previously T4? Mag rolls over all those servers with no effort.

This JP is DEAD when there is no achievement attached to it.

That’s not true unless you’re on some PvE or low WvW population server. Yes, the JP has been seeing more action, but it was never “DEAD”. There are guilds that have spent the majority of their time in the JP, killing dudes and looking for fights, this is not something new.

You want an achievement but either you, your server, or your guild don’t have the means to get it. I guess you don’t deserve it after all.

I completely disagree with you. To me, the amount of people just sitting around purposely preventing people from completing this achievement proves that they are not just simply playing WvW, they have an agenda. And I also disagree with you that this place is not dead when there is no achievement attached to it, considering I’ve seen it. If you want to try and prove a point that these people are not simply being kitten bags, preventing other people for getting an achievement, that’s your deal, but I’m a firm believer that actions speak louder then words. And actions are speaking mighty loudly right now, in game, and in these forums.

I also hate to kitten in your cornflakes this morning, but I have already completed this achievement. I made a form post in here last night rallying my server, which seemed quite effective and we squashed Jade Query out of there, and I was able to complete it.

So my advice to anyone having issues is this. Make a post right here on these very forums trying to rally your server together, to take over the jumping puzzle. It seemed to have worked for me.

Was kind of disappointed to see ACE go down so easily so many times at N camp on Mag yesterday.
