In the last pic, we downed a thief, let him get to about 80% health, took him down to 25%, then repeated this cycle for 8 minutes. Maguuma is losing its mind.

To the Maguuma commander who got killed by a lone thief in BP borderlands, that was me, and i got away. That’s the one morale boost i can take from the beating you’re giving us.

Well, as long as you consider something like that a morale boost, that’s all that matters.

DR thief tried to chase me down while I was going to the JP. Got me once, then downed himself while I was still just trying to run away. Confusion is a kitten. Eat it.

I still don’t get a lot of the battle plans from you guys. Maybe it’s because I’m a Maguuman and home defense is my middle name and my only lover. I earnestly try to understand other players and their psyche. Obviously, I am not there so I cannot get the whole story and I’m left to fill in the pieces on my own.

DR says they lack numbers but there were 20+ of them in EBG (and that’s only what I saw and counted at one area) yesterday evening. BP and Mag were strong there and despite that, DR continued to attempt to keep a presence, despite not having their BL. Eventually DR lost everything in EBG and gained nothing in their BL, which is highly predictable when you are facing numbers like that. But when you are outnumbered, wouldn’t it make more sense to leave EBG alone and focus on your own BL, going where the enemy is not, even momentarily?

I would honestly love to share some Maguuma defense strategies with people, it seems a shame to completely trample on a server, but even worse when they’re acting as their own enemy.

BP got their entire BL back, congrats! Here’s hoping to some fun fights!

WaR left very intentionally, and as far as I’m concerned, stabbed us in the back during reset last night very intentionally.

We did, but I never said WaR was one of them. From what I heard from a WaR member, that doesn’t surprise me. Seems like there was a lot going on there. At times like this I’m glad that Maguuma doesn’t depend on any one guild for WvW.

They will once we start losing. Our resident spy said some people were transferring over just for map completion. Either way, the glory chasers will leave and Maguuma will resume its normal schedule.

I forget who’s Garrison it was but me and a party of [D|ERP] were defending it. We asked a mesmer for a portal bomb and they never responded. Finally I said “I’m sick of waiting, I’m going out there.” Nurse agreed along with the others. We walked out the door and proceeded to wipe 10+ red names from the gate. And with help from the other Maguumans, pushed them out completely and back to NE tower.

Stand strong in the face of defeat. Push them when they dare to push you. And for the love of Lord Flame Ram, stop taking supply from the keep!

All of last night was Maguuma propping up Devona in EB.

It was exceptionally funny when we abandoned our slots on EB and went to maguuma BL, and a few groups of Devona followed us there to attack us as well, ignoring the entire map.

ho hum, I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but there sure seems to be some match manipulation going on.

BP also abandoned their entire BL to take and attempt to keep stuff in DR last night. So….

And you can do dungeons for gear and well as spend karma. Don’t disregard it, but don’t see it as the end all component to combat.

Legendary weapons are cosmetic exotics. It depends on skill. I have a character that’s not even 80 yet and does remarkable well in WvW. When I first ran my mesmer, she had only two armor exotics and rares for everything else including weapons. She did just fine.

Whatever you do, don’t go chasing after Ascended gear until the update comes out and you can buy them with badges.

GUYS! They’re running around with 50 people on an American server on their BL during their primetime on a weekend! abloo bloo bloo.

Maguuma is currently outnumbered on every BL (not including EBG) and even had the outmanned buff until we pulled people from other BLs (Mag is still empty btw). Yet DR and BP still have not managed to take control of their own BLs. You can claim it’s a numbers game all you want, and you may be right. But during our weakest hour, and while being outnumbered, you still couldn’t do anything.

Unfortunately after the latest patch Arena Net broke my graphics and I have to run everything on low to attain the FPS I used to have with everything on medium / high.

And we are talking to Bunzy / OG because it’s more fun than whining about number difference or server drama. Although these conversations are getting quite predicable now. In the next post I am 90% sure he will say that screen shots are easily manipulated.

DR and BP proved that last week when both of you just seem to drop off come Monday.

I coudn’t care less. My point was to get some clerification on why people are bragging about how little they care about their own server. Once I found out they’re just the same trolls who verbally attacked CD for two weeks when we were up against them, I expalined that I get it now, I know what he’s doing.

That was it. “Agument” over. For some reason I get a bunch of people whining at me for pointing out that the guy is trolling. Way to give the trolls the big fat “OK”. AoN wasn’t on Maguuma or posting in the matchup thread when you faced Maguuma. So it is not the same trolls. I also never bragged about anything in this thread yet Maguuma is my home. Youve got some issues you just need to let go and move on from. If you think someone is trolling, posting or talking to them or about them doesn’t help. Report, ignore, move on.

Remember though, its just a rumor. But ANet has recognized the problem with rewards and support classes so I feel confident and have put a lot of faith that they will make this happen. Even if it doesn’t, I’ve recently come to terms with the fact that I love this class and build so much that I will take the short end of the stick for now. As someone has already said the important thing is to have fun. If you do, that’s worth more badges than you can possibly imagine. /cheesy line

Okay, thank you very much for your insight. I wasn’t aware of any Asian holidays (i tend to lose track of even the American ones), but yeah, the sizes seemed to be lacking. Good to see you got some new people too! Oh, you’re KH? Are you the guild that was on EBay and are infamous for portaling around your guys? I hated fighting you guys but it was a good kind of hate. The “omg wtf I just got portal bombed by 15 guys and now they’re gone” kind of hate. Looking forward to some good fights!

Isnt one of the rumors about the big February update is that WvW loot is being redesigned for support classes so its more lucrative to be one?
