Is that what most companies do? I don’t know, as I’ve never purchased an expansion, except for Guild Wars which were full Campaigns and, I guess, full price. Well, there was EotN; I don’t really remember what I paid for it. I think it was 10 dollars less.

What do other no-subscription companies that offer free content updates charge for their expansions? What do subscription companies charge for their expansions?

Since the HoT expansion cost less than the Core Guild Wars 2 game, why is it labeled as paying ‘full price’ twice?

Should ArenaNet charge less for the expansions, a once-every-two-years-or-so expense, and charge more for Gem Store items all the time?

As few people who read Stickies before posting, I’m not sure how much effect it would have.

Also, an idea/suggestion that may not be feasible, may spark another idea that would be feasible for the Devs, by players, or by the Devs themselves. Remember the CDIs?

It seems different players have issue with different areas for this achievement. I’m not sure Noran’s is any more bugged than the others. I did it last night.

Certain features are not available to low-level characters until they reach a certain level. Hero Challenges – Level 11; Map Completion – Level 14; etc.

As noted above, even if you do not link the two accounts, 3 points will show up in the HoM Calculator.

There have been times when the ‘My Account’ page showed “buy now” even when the games were linked, so that’s kind of hit and miss.

Even the CS Team is not infallible with this; there’s another thread here now where they show a linked account as ‘not linked’.

You can ask to have your ticket escalated; you can post in the Sticky above for a review; you can wait and then provide the information requested.

Only the CS Team can assist you. After accidentally giving access to the wrong individual on a Dev account, the Team is quite particular about gathering absolute proof of account ownership, as they should be.

Edit: Have you the old emails from the CS Team where they assisted you with linking the accounts? Perhaps, you could forward those to the Team to show it’s the same person, same email, and same accounts.

Again, that policy was changed some time back (referencing bodily functions and some human anatomy).

Hmm, anyone can acquire a HoM Portal Stone from the Vendor; I’m not sure that indicates if the accounts are linked. Now, if you have unlocked many items, going to the HoM would indicate they were linked, but a newer account would not have anything unlocked until completing the required activities in Guild Wars.

Same with the HoM Calculator. Everyone shows the first 3 points, I believe. Yes, every account shows 3 points unlocked; just checked some of my alternate accounts.

Do you have Transmutation Stones? You need them to change the skins on gear. Make sure you have a back item equipped, as well. Back straps are very cheap, found on the TP or from Vendors.

The Profession I like most in Guild Wars, I don’t play at all in Guild Wars 2. Just leveled it to 80 and now it’s my Home Instance gatherer.

The Profession I barely played in Guild Wars (never even got to L20), is my main and favorite in Guild Wars 2. I have 4 characters with this Profession.

I just like it; could be because it is easy for me.

Another Profession I just hated in Guild Wars, and never even created one, is a Profession I like a lot in Guild Wars 2. I don’t really have reasons; it could be that I don’t die a lot. Lol.

Don’t put them in the bank; there’s a bug that causes L80 Boost gear to disappear from the bank.

Looks like this informal survey produced the opposite results to the OP’s. Go figure!

I’m confused. Why would more people having the recipe make it less costly to craft the item? Would that somehow make the cost of the ingredients go down?

I admit, I know next to nothing about the TP or how to work it, but the reason I don’t craft items for sale in some cases is that I would lose Gold doing so.

I may be missing something; if so, my apologies.

I’m not sure about that^. My character screamed in the Starter Zones, and Cities, and I’m pretty sure there are no Jade Constructs there.

It seems like a ‘leather farm’ to me; it doesn’t seem to drop anything else. Maybe players are confusing ‘T6 Leather farm’ with just ‘leather farm’. /shrug

If you are asking ArenaNet, be aware that no changes such as your suggestion are possible. The third-party that created the forum software no longer works on forum software, and did not train anyone at ArenaNet.

Actually, there was a policy change some time back, where ‘poop’ and other gross words were allowed in Character Names.

I suspect it is either an error, or just too close to World of Warcraft. You are certainly welcome to challenge the decision; it could go either way.

You may have missed the patch notes about Current Events whenever new ones are released. Thus, not everyone relies on Dulfy or the Wiki. Only those that do not wish to discover them on their own.

P.S. You don’t have to jump into a Rift in Fields of Ruins, you can jump into a Rift on any map, Cities included, to initiate the ‘quest’ for a Stabilizer.

One Mastery Point is rewarded for each Personal Story Level Arc, regardless of race, per account; thus a total of 8 Mastery Points can be acquired through the Personal Story.

Season Two Story Achievements can only be completed by a character that has completed that Episode previously; in essence, the same character must play the Episode twice.

It seems odd, to me, to voluntarily do something one hates, when one does not have to.

Because Legendary crafting is a Core Tyria feature. Also, you not only craft second-generation Legendaries (HoT), but Core Legendaries, as well, of which there are more.

It’s 1280 Gems to unlock Season Two, which you can exchange Gold-to-Gems for. So, about 350 Gold at this time. Not too difficult to acquire in today’s economy.

I don’t think you can acquire “The Emperor’s New Wardrobe” for only 100 Gold, by the way.

Well, not exactly the same link. When I use the ‘Support’ link above, it directs to en.support.guildwars2.com, instead of https://en.support.guildwars2.com. I suppose that makes the difference, as en.support.guildwars2.com redirects to https://help.guildwars2.com. I guess it used to direct to the https:// one; I’ve no idea what changed for me.

I just tried it on Chrome, and, for me, that redirect/link is still malfunctioning. This all started when they updated the Support site.

It’s a long-standing bug, that comes and goes.

You can access the website using the ‘Support’ link from any other Guild Wars 2 site page. I don’t know why the forums’ ‘Support’ link acts up sometimes. The certificate doesn’t seem to like the language identifier.

It didn’t work for me for months, from any browser. But, now it works fine.

There will probably always be new Easter Eggs. I think part of the charm is having the players discover them. The Devs might not want to disclose new Easter Eggs for some time after implementation.

Thus, I doubt you would get an up-to-date or accurate permanent answer, should the Devs wish to post in your thread.
