well, I guess you are right…as long as the mounts are, say, a chicken strapped to each foot, it should be ok. =)

when I entered the word ‘mounts’ into search, I got 4,444 results….odd

OT: I do not have a desire for mounts. If enough people indicate they do not want them, it will probably equal out those that asked for them.
If they should ever be introduced to the game, I hope they are required to stay 100 yards from any NPCs.

When I do the maw event, it takes a few minutes for the chest to load on-screen, as does the shaman after he is dead, and the event is over. Sometimes it takes awhile for the ice elementals by the portals to load, sometimes not, but there is always a wait for the chest to load. I am able to loot the chest right away, but I have to wait to actually see it. It isn’t especially bothersome, as I know where it spawns.

I hope, if nothing else, we get Guild Halls like we had in GW(1). Player housing would be good, too, I guess, but Guild Halls are great.
Most of the cities are deserted, anyway…now….but when (if?) ArenaNet finally releases all the mini-games, I am sure the cities will be populated, with housing or without.

I haven’t heard them announce what, exactly, will all be in the March update. It has, however, been said the paid name changes will be offered soon…very soon. Make of that what you will.

giants can be found in Brisban, as well…the easy ones (non-Champion)

looks like an NPC, and not a choice we have in character creation…much like many of the town clothes seen on NPCs

Which of the giant spots do you plan on farming? I have to admit, my giant farming is going slow…only up to 8 or so. Maybe I have missed a good one.

I play on Henge of Denravi, and I have yet to encounter overflow for a guaranteed-rare-chest event. I guess I am extra-lucky. One of the perks of being on a somewhat unpopular server, I guess.

It would surely be fantastic if we had a Festival Hat and Costume NPC, or something, like we had in GW(1). Perhaps, if enough people express an interest in something along these lines, we will get a way to store town clothes items efficiently.

remember there is a two-hour cooldown on each try, if the password fails…if you have trouble changing your password, creating a support ticket is the easiest and fastest way to get help

I can only suggest to keep trying to log in and change the character name.

I hate to go back to the “insta-suspension” for the first name block, so I’m hoping this will prove to work well to remind people to not use offensive names, get those names out of the game, but keep the players able to continue playing.

Unless this is your second or subsequent inappropriate character name, these rules should apply in your case, as well.

You might try logging in again, after an hour or so…as they have changed their stance on unacceptable names from the 72-hour automatic ban, to a short ban with the opportunity to change your nick and get back in the game. If you read the TOS, which you agreed to, you will see why your name is unacceptable. Good luck.

About a week or two ago, I reported two different teleporting node bots; they were added to my friends list (as that was the method I used to report them). They were logged on continuously, as far as I could tell, because whenever (day or night) I logged in, there they were jumping around the map. After about a week, their names went grey, and they haven’t logged back on (that I can see), so it looks as though they have had an unfortunate (for them) encounter with the ban hammer.

It just seems to take a bit of time.

Also, about a month ago, I reported a teleporting bot by sending a screenshot into Customer Support. Within about 3 or 4 days, I received a response indicating the bot had been removed. So, Arenanet does take care of bot, at least in some cases.

If you had a stack of axes, or picks, etc., how would you know how many uses each pick or axe had? I understand it would probably make little difference, but that may be why they do not stack…as the number that shows in the icon shows how many uses are left on each axe, pick, sickle; if they were stacked the number would show how many are in the stack, and you would not be able to tell how many uses were on each pick, etc.

Create a ticket with support, and they will help you change your log-in email address. You can do this using the ‘Ask A Question’ option accessed at the top of this page in ‘Services – Support’.

I wish it had been 30 hours…I spent 7000+ and still do not have GWAMM, though I am/have ‘Kind of a Big Deal’. It is a pity that didn’t carry over.

As for the OP, perhaps you could make a suggestion in the Suggestions forum, and if enough people agree with you, then the devs would remove the greyed out boxes in pets and mini-pets, skills, etc.

You need no event for Veteran Oakhearts, and they are in every starting zone…not too difficult to take down, really.

I have no idea, really, but does that have anything to do with the newer option: ‘see all team colors’ or some such? It was added a couple of patches ago.

It would be impossible to put overflows on the same clock as the ‘main server’ as overflows are made up of people from many servers…one overflow server is created to hold the overflow of any and all servers, until it fills up, then another is created.

Much like the districts in GW(1).

it has always counted skill points, no matter how one earned said skill point

I especially enjoy the variety; there wasn’t any ‘surprise’ to the old daily. For me, it is something to look forward to each day, and I don’t have a problem completing at least 5 of the choices..often more.
If it is something I do not normally do, it is nice to have a bit of a challenge, (not necessarily skill- or game-wise), and it has sometimes led me to explore parts of the game I probably wouldn’t have at this time.

yes, as far as I know, it is impossible to get that particular piece of town clothing at this time…I hope we will have many more options one day, as well =)

they have/had promised us we would be able to obtain any and all clothing that NPCs wear, but nothing has come of it thus far….perhaps, later down the line

I had 4/5 dailies completed, killed my last needed veteran, which simultaneously allowed me to level up…achieved 6/5 at the same time, and got no reward whatsoever…I would really like to get my missing laurel..the others don’t bother me so much

I send mail to offline characters often…the online/offline status is of no consequence. As long as you know the character name, or the account name, mail is no problem. =)

well, tried redownloading the game…same crash error window
so, i rebooted the computer…seemed to fix the issue, as I now have the log-in window up..yay

I’ve logged in and am at character selection screen..all’s well that ends well

as soon as i double-click on my desktop icon, a crash report appears…never had this problem before

what’s going on? i played with no issues about 12-14 hours ago…..

tried adding -repair to the command line…nothing changed, still get crash error window as soon as i use the shortcut
