Certain crafting functions and progression
Autoloot
GlidingImportant functions that help speed up game play not to mention if you die you have to run back to loot IF it is still there. I would recommend it but eh…that’s just me.
You don’t need Heart of Thorns for Autoloot if you purchase(d) Path of Fire, as it is part of the Core Masteries. The only crafting discipline you need HoT for is Scribe. Gliding is, indeed, only available with HoT.

Perhaps, it’s unlocked thusly: Unlocked but hidden: these collections are automatically unlocked, but hidden from view until the player binds or consumes at least one of the required items within the collection.

Not sure what is considered large, but there are several backpacks that are quite easy to obtain offered in the Living World Season 3 maps. If you have access to Season 3, you can check those out.
There’s the Brewmaster Backpack, as well, but that takes 1 year to obtain. Great Lucky Rooster is somewhat large, and not very expensive.

For Open World PvE, all the Professions are good for mostly solo play. Some Professions are easier to learn, at first, though. Those would probably be Ranger, Warrior, Guardian, Necromancer. It’s really just a matter of preference. Use the ‘Game’ link above to get a broad overview of the Professions (and more), if desired.
You have 5 or 6 Character slots, so you can try out several of the Professions, and see what you like….and don’t like. You will only really learn the game by playing it. And, of course, the Wiki is a great resource, and can be accessed in-game by typing /Wiki (topic of choice) in the Chat Panel.

It’s a long-time ‘bug’ that only affects the forum’s redirect to the Support site page, and only for some users.

Ahh, that may be the issue.
So, you are just trying to join their map?
If they are already in the instance, I don’t believe they can be joined. If you party up before the instance (and in the same map), there should be a UI option shown to join. Also, of course, you must both be in the same region (NA/EU).
One other thing is the Story Step must be a real instance, and not Open World. You can’t ‘join’ in the Open World-type Story Steps.
If you continue to have issue, you can try a -repair of the client and/or contact the CS Team for assistance. Both can be accessed via the ‘Support’ link above/below.

It would be nice if each bank slot could hold 500 (or increments of 250 per purchase) instead of 250, but I don’t think something like that is on the near horizon.

The names of the achievements “Speargun Master” and “Harpoon Master” are misleading. The Speargun achievement is actually referring to Harpoon Gun weapons (sometimes just called Harpoon). The Harpoon achievement refers to Spear weapons.

As noted on the L80 Boosts, they are ‘For advanced players’.
I would strongly suggest leveling one or two characters naturally to L80 before using any L80 Boosts. That way you won’t miss out on all the Leveling tutorial tips and rewards.

Not sure how the third option makes existing Hero Points useless.
Regardless, I think it will work as it did in Heart of Thorns; in the Demo/Stress Tests, the Hero Points were worth 10 points each, and in Crystal Oasis, there are 5 Hero Challenges. There may be 5 Hero Challenges in each of the upcoming maps, or possibly more than 5. That would offer 250 Hero Points, or more.

I’ve seen this a couple of times, and I’m wondering… What Mastery does Draconis Mons need/use to open chests?
Is it the ability(Mastery) to gather Unbound Magic? Is the item to see/unlock the chests sold for Unbound Magic? Of course, one can acquire that ability through the Gem Store.

Tbh i feel angry right now. Because i need to spend another $ for living world story… i need the access to the maps and achievements..
I know i can exchange gold for gems. But this is so wrong, farming almost maybe 500gold to unlock another content while i just bought all content that anet sells on website… for new player who want catching up this is too much work, cant enjoy while im thinking im playing this way…

Just to be fair (and accurate), you can purchase Living World Season 2 on the website; you could have added it into your initial purchase. Thus, you did not purchase all the content offered.
But, on the bright side, as you noted, you can acquire all Living World Seasons (sans Season One) without spending a penny by using the Gold-to-Gems exchange!

As for the Stress Test, the only ‘bug’ I encountered was the mount/dismount bug where your character ends up halfway buried in the ground, under the mount if not moving, and buried and leaving it behind if moving.
Oh, edit: I had the same bug last few times we were allowed to play in Elona.

in the us if your buying from game stop or amazon all you will get is a code and no boxes any more at all .
as this pack will only be a download so any one looking for boxes . is out of luck unless anet which I doubt changes its mind on this .
also if you buy from game stop you will not get the pre purchase stuff that comes with it as anet seams the only one to be offering these if you buy from anets store . and these are the items will not get from the other places

Depends on where you live. Dailies reset at 00:00 GMT. Maybe your timezone went on or off daylight saving? Or you moved?
For me, they reset at 5pm until my timezone is no longer in daylight saving, when it moves to 4pm.
If you do them at the same time every day, say at 9pm (your time), they will always be done, and you won’t have to stay up late.

My question (request): can we please turn off the beginning intro and just buy a raptor in town when we get there? That solo trip through the fires of hell (no pun intended) can take most of our time in Elona. I can see requiring it for first-time run-throughs, but for those of us who have been through it repeatedly want to claw out our own eyes rather than see it again… at least I know I want to…
I know this isn’t a preview, but it would be nice to spend our time actually inside Elona instead of in an instance.

If you create another ticket, a duplicate ticket, for the same issue, you will only slow down the process. You can update your original ticket and ask about its progress.
