I’m not sure if the Camera options include first-person, but there are options.
Double-tap to dodge can be turned off; plus, there’s a dedicated key for Dodge, ‘V’ (which can be changed to your preference).
Many Dailies already show the location when clicked upon. If it has a Map symbol, clicking will open the World Map and zoom in on the location.
Welcome to Tyria, and good luck.
Don’t forget; you can jump in the Demo right now and try out all the new Elite Specializations coming with Path of Fire. You can try out Core Specializations there, as well, or with any character in Heart of the Mists.
If you have a L80 Boost and Heart of Thorns, you can try out HoT Specializations (all nine), as well.
Good luck.
Great! Make sure to close your ticket with the CS Team. =)
Well, if you don’t tell people that, no one would guess that. I’d suggest editing that out of your post.
Good luck.
Edit: Well done.

If a Guild Leader doesn’t trust his/her Guild members, then I guess they have to option to kick them. This ‘feature’ sounds only like a way for the game to ‘spy’ on members for the Guild Leader. It also sounds like a heck of a lot of work, not only for Guild Leaders, but for Devs.
Good luck.
Somewhere within 72 hours (as stated on the purchase page) and 1 week (due to high volume).
Good luck.
It depends on what expansions you have (or none). You can check out the Elite Specializations for each Profession, and see if any tickle your fancy.

There are links to videos, blogs, etc. on the page (or found in this past week’s News Blog).
Good luck.

Your crashes are caused by LavaSoft programs. Remove or disable all LavaSoft programs to alleviate the crash.
Good luck.
You can try clearing the GW2 cache; instructions found in the Knowledge Base accessed via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Search – Troubleshoot Trading Post’.
Good luck.
And the other reasons they do not offer Display Name changes? Being accountable certainly serves a purpose. Also, being in IT isn’t the same as coding for an MMO that has code built upon code built upon code.
We’ve seen the reports from players who have had their Display Name changed. It gives up one problem for a slew of others.
Your Display Name doesn’t seem bad. At least, you don’t have one of the UNID ones.
Good luck.
No. The remaining Gen2 Legendary Weapons will be released with Living World Season 4 Episodes.
The Dynamics Projector Module is a backpack skin. You can use it to change the appearance of a backpack at no Transmutation charge.
The Backpack Straps are for those characters that have no existing backpack.

Good luck.
Try running as Administrator?
Try turning off any 3rd-party programs, such as those that come with graphics cards?
Try a -repair of the client?
Try Googling for those threads here in the forum that address this issue? I can’t remember the ‘fix’ for it.
Good luck.
There’s the post in the other thread (the OP states was read) that includes a Dev post about how featuring Open World PvP-type combat is technically unwarranted.
So, even if it is ever approved, it may be a long time coming.
I think Lindsay added the materials she felt were warranted. Probably nothing was left out. Likely, new items will be added with the upcoming expansion, though.
Because I want to support the Developers that have given me gameplay enjoyment for the last 12 years and 14,000+ hours. I’m a fan of the Guild Wars universe. I wish I could do more.
Releases are usually every 2 weeks. After each release, there is a period of hot-fixes. These range from 1 to several per day, and may be only on release day, or for several subsequent days.
For a more accurate review of patches, and their regularity, peruse the Game Release sub-forum accessed via the front page.
Good luck.

the goal of open-world content is, all in all, to make you excited to see another player, to make you happy that someone else showed up. adding a dueling system does not contribute to this goal in any way and debatably goes against it by introducing an entirely opposite element to the pre-existing content.
i, personally, do not think dueling in and of itself would ‘ruin’ open world content, no — i see it as simply a step in the entirely wrong direction. catering to players who want to experience their specific flavor of content outside of its intended area would just muddle the tone of the experience itself. nobody goes into raids expecting to kill enemy players, or sPvP expecting to go exploring. it just makes no sense to implement it when it fails to contribute to the overarching goal or surrounding content in any way.is it a huge problem if it gets added? not really.
does it make sense for it to exist in open-world PvE? definitely not.You begin your arguement with a selfproclaimed reasoning for open world content. I agree that being happy to see another player is a part of the open world content…while attacking a boss, or doing certain hearts…..in some regards. But saying that it is the main reason, is quiet wrong. Beside the ideology of this game having a lot of tasks that do not depend on any other player….like jumping puzzle, random hearts that require you to deliver xx things……or transforming you and stuff……the whole MMORPG genre did not make this a reason in anyway. I am sorry to say this, but I have written around 5 lines now, and this whole comment simply seems out of line on so many things, that I honestly do not know how to….sorry to say….but take this comment seriously. But the goal to open world content never really had been about being happy to meet other players, in any mmorpg, Gw2 did make a statement that they want to pursue the idea of making defeating a minion a shared experience……but yeah I will just stop here…because wow xD
You claimed it was self-proclaimed, and a comment that can not be taken seriously. I posted that it was ArenaNet’s claim and core game tenet, and should be taken quite seriously. That’s what it has to do with this thread.
Well, it won’t be ‘go to HoT’-only much longer. Those new players that purchase Path of Fire (sans HoT) won’t have that option, or should we say…requirement.
Thus, the Devs wouldn’t be putting a tip in suggesting one ‘go to HoT’ to open Masteries. Still, the ‘flashing message’ could say something like “Masteries are expansion-specific content. Check your Story Journal”, or some such.
What the Devs really should do is disable that flashing message until a player actually sets foot in an expansion. Or, show it only once, and state that Masteries are available, if one enters expansion content.
It’s time to make MMORPGs more social
MMOs are social games. So why do they sometimes seem to work so hard to punish you for playing with other players? If I’m out hunting and another player walks by, shouldn’t I welcome his help, rather than worrying that he’s going to steal my kills or consume all the mobs I wanted to kill? Or if I want to play with someone, shouldn’t we naturally have the same goals and objectives, rather than discovering that we’re in the same area but working on a different set of quests?
We think of GW2 as the first MMO that actually has a cooperative PvE experience.
…
Of course GW2 has great support for parties, but they just don’t feel as necessary as they do in other MMOs, because your interests are always aligned with all other nearby players anyway.
…
We even redesigned the competitive part of the game to be friendly like this.
Not really a self-proclaimed tenet of GW2.
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/guild-wars-2-design-manifesto/
I’m pretty sure the icon showed up when I went to try for it. And on my party member’s UI, as well.
You could try posting in the Bugs sub-forum. You could try a -repair of the client.
Good luck.
There’s this from the Wiki: Hidden area on the left side of the jumping puzzle, concealed by hanging vines.
Dulfy probably has a guide, as well.
Good luck.
Do not keep making tickets until they respond. It will only slow down the process, sending you to the back of the queue. Make one ticket, and one ticket only. You can update the original for any information.
Those kinds of artifacts are usually caused by a problem with your graphics drivers. Try uninstall/re-installing/updating/rolling-back/etc.
Good luck.
It’s not just Unbound Magic Tools, it’s all Gathering Tools, because, as stated above, Power of the Mists is now defunct. Pity.
Here’s a recent thread on the topic: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/I-feel-like-this-game-lacks-something/page/2#post6702189
Good luck.

Good luck.
Actually, the next step would be Living World Season 2 (with the Season 2 maps, Dry Top and The Silverwastes). After that comes Heart of Thorns. At least, story-wise.
And for those that do not purchase Heart of Thorns (and its accompanying Living World Season 3) the next step would be Path of Fire (if purchased, of course) and Season 4.
Be aware, you will eventually gather all the XP you can use (unless you participate in a Raid in some form), and the Mastery Bar will freeze. This only indicates you have reached Max Level, or run out of Mastery Points to spend.
Though, as long as you stay current in content releases, every 2-4 months a new Mastery Track is released, which you can fill with XP.
Good luck.
You can update your ticket and inquire about the status of your request.
Good luck.
I believe it is supposed to be more like a ‘free extra’. It was stated that otherwise the expansion would only be worth $5 or $10 dollars.
Thus, as a free extra, it has no real Gem worth.
Regardless of how one looks at the L80 Boost (and accompanying Shared Inventory Slot), it is very doubtful the CS Team or ArenaNet as a whole will compensate (other than giving the free Shared Inventory Slot) those that do not wish to use it.
Good luck.
Renown Hearts in Living World Season 3 and future are repeatable Renown Hearts. They reset at Daily Reset. You can check your World Map and see you get credit towards Map Completion the first time you do them.
Thus, not a bug. You can update your ticket and say, “I no longer need help.”, if you want to help alleviate the current backlog.
Good luck.
So, they should turn it on for this Demo, but keep it off for last week’s Demo? The Devs should create two different kinds of Demos? One that uses the ‘cloned’ account, and one that doesn’t? What about rankings and such? Should they make a Demo that awards rewards/progress if you win, but doesn’t if you lose?
According to Mike O’Brien’s statement, no Legendary Weapons will be released with Path of Fire. Legendary Weapons will, however, be released with Living Story Season 4. They won’t require Path of Fire.
Our plan is to keep releasing legendary weapons alongside episodes, with the weapons not requiring the new expansion.
Mo
Thus, it looks like the requirements would not change.
No different than last weekend, or HoT demo weekends.
Demos are demonstrations/tests, not live gameplay/clients.
When Druid was released, I didn’t change all my Rangers to Druid, and they didn’t RIP.
I imagine the same thing would happen with SoulBeast, only there would be 2 options, instead.
1. Already offered at buy.guildwars2.com
2. No, see #1.
3. No, you can purchase them separately, or as a bundle, in any order you choose.
Good luck.
It is a standard semi-automated first response. The report is then forwarded to the proper team. That team, as noted, will not release any information about what action, or lack thereof, will be taken on another player’s account.
Good luck.
The payment provider, Digital River, has taken issue with your payment credentials. Only the CS Team can communicate with them, and possibly get your credentials approved.
Your other choice is to purchase from another Authorized Retailer, though I don’t know if any of them are offering Pre-purchase bonuses. (All I have seen are Pre-orders, which include no bonuses.)
Good luck.
If you purchased directly from ArenaNet, you would contact the CS Team.
If you purchased elsewhere, you would contact that retailer.
Good luck.
Well, you don’t need Heart of Thorns to play Path of Fire, so you only need invest the $30 dollars.
There’s a demo starting in about 20 minutes, so you could try that out without cost.
Up to you; good luck either way.
Have you tried going to the WvW Skill Point re-allocation NPC?
Tried a -repair of the client, in case of corrupted file(s)?
If you continue to have issue, you can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.
Good luck.
Seems pretty reasonable to me. I don’t buy them much, anymore, but console games at launch always ran me about $50 or $60 dollars. Fifty dollars for 2 expansions seems pretty good.
Regardless…perhaps, see you next year. Good luck.
In about half an hour, most likely.
This isn’t really required for Path of Fire, but the Core Tyria Mastery, Advanced Logistics is a really great QoL feature. You might want to work on that in preparation, just to have less ‘interact’ (and more fun) in all of Tyria. =)
You should have received 2 Black Lion Keys for a duplicate Wardrobe Unlock (actually, it should not have ‘unlocked’ [you needed to have added it to the Wardrobe, though, and not merely have it in the Bank, or in inventory]); you can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below for assistance (the BL Keys).
Good luck.
Didn’t some Living World Season 3 maps use new movement features and leave some Heart of Thorns core map movement features behind? There is still Gliding, and who knows?, there might be the occasional obscure other additional HoT Mastery feature tucked away somewhere (purely optional, of course).
Hero Points for the upcoming Elite Specializations?
Welcome return, and good luck.

You can share them with other characters through a Shared Inventory Slot (equip/unequip) or through the Bank.
“Replace on any character (1)”, not “Replace on all characters(many)”.
Good luck.
