I would recommend just banking the L80 Boost until you are familiar with the game and the Professions. Level up a character or two in Core Tyria first, and visit all the Core Tyria maps before heading on to expansion content.

Not sure what you mean by Profession/class combos, as Profession and class mean the same thing. If you are referring to Crafting disciplines, you can use the Wiki (link above) to find out which Professions might benefit most from the different Crafting disciplines. You can use the Wiki to answer many GW2 questions, actually, and can access it in-game by typing /Wiki (topic of choice) in chat.

I’d use Draconis Mons and Siren’s Landing as the benchmarks, as they are the maps that included the graphics update that is used in Path of Fire.
I use a much worse laptop than OP’s, and worried about even meeting the new requirements; fortunately, I had no issues in the Demo.
Thus, OP should be able to play PoF if the last two maps in Season 3 are playable.

Ha! I have more trouble with the Raptor, as I have always tended to tap the spacebar and my Raptor’s leaps fall short.
You see, it works both ways now. Just wait until we get all the Mounts. Each with different spacebar needs! Lol.
Oh well, I lost the gamble, as well. Had an item worth 400G when I looked earlier that day, or the day before (I don’t remember), and now it’s worth 83Gold, which is up from what it was in the afternoon of the box releasing.
I guess I will hang onto it a bit more, and see if the price rises after expansion. Then, either put it up for sale, or finally unlock the skin. /shrug

It’s actually a month before they get closed automatically.
I’m confused. What makes you think you need to send a character to the desert to learn an Elite Specialization? As noted above, the NPCs only offer(ed in the demo) lore; no ‘quests’. I don’t think it will be any different than it was in Heart of Thorns. I certainly ‘learned’ Elite Specializations on characters that never set foot in HoT.
One-day offerings are usually only on for 24 hours. From 9am PDT one day to 9am PDT the next day. (Or PST during the fall/winter season, of course.)
You could try the CS Team; they might accommodate your request.

New specs will require unlocking with special missions from what we heard already. NPCs are actually teaching you how to become new profession.
So what I think this means is that in order for my newly made thief to become Deadeye without jumping ahead in the story, it will only have to do PS, LS2, HoT, LS3 and ONLY THEN go to PoF and unlock the bloody spec? Screw that so much.
I don’t like the sound of that, I really don’t. Hopefully it’s at least account-wide.
It’s nothing like that. If the Demo is any indication, there will be no ‘missions’ offered from NPCs. Those NPCs offered only lore dialogue. No ‘quests’ or ‘missions’ were present.

You would have to ask the CS Team.
If they are duplicate tickets for an issue already submitted, they would be merged(closed). If the CS Team has already addressed the issue previously, and stated the matter is closed, they would be closed.

Clearing the GW2 cache usually solves Trading Post issues. (Repairing won’t clear the cache.) Also, make sure nothing is interfering with your Coherent program, as that is what runs the TP.
