Good luck.
You should have received the near-immediate automated response.
Due to high volume, the CS Team is allowing 7 days for replies.
Good luck.
Bug reports sent in-game will garner no response, as indicated on the Bug Report window.
If you have used the web-form accessed via the ‘Support’ link, and not received the near-immediate automated response, check your junk/spam folders and/or read the Sticky, ‘Not Getting our Emails?’ found in the FAQ Sticky in the Account/Tech Support sub-forum.
If you have received the automated response, do be aware that submitting multiple tickets will only slow your response and send you to the back of the queue. Due to high volume at this time, the CS Team is allowing 7 days for replies.
Good luck.
I’m with IWN. They don’t really do anything for me, but I’m glad they are something others enjoy. =)
I love that piece. I hope it makes it into Path of Fire (and in many places within). It’s one of my all-time favorites from Guild Wars: Prophesies.
Though, I do love Maclaine’s work in Path of Fire (and anyone else’s work that helped).
There’s a YouTube video showing the similarities and differences of many locales in Guild Wars/Guild Wars 2.
I don’t know the name of it, but it’s linked in the Community Creations sub-forum. (Probably easier to find with Google/search engine of choice.)
You can try changing gw2setup.exe to gw2.exe and placing it wherever you wish to install the game.
Good luck.
I have, and have always had, 2 GW2.exe shortcuts: one to the 64-bit client and one to the 32-bit client. I use the 2 at different times for different purposes. (Of course, they share the .dat file.)
I’ve always had to update them both, separately. The first will download whatever is on offer for that patch. The second will still update, but a much smaller download. (It doesn’t matter which order they are updated in.)
It may not specifically be the browser (I use Firefox with no issue there), but some particular settings in the browser.
As long as your friend could contact the CS Team, all is well. =)
Good luck.
It was 10 points.
I like it all; would not change a thing.
Except…I will have to get used to sitting on my Mount, pointing the camera one direction, hitting ‘Leap’, and having the Mount leap the direction he/she happens to be facing. Lol, splatted more than once.
Names are reserved for 24 hours, so you might try again later. If it does not become available after 24 hours, you might have to wait until 24 hours after the next Beta Weekend.
Good luck.
The better reason not to buy from the site you listed (and likely you should edit it out, since you just gave them free advertising) is the probability that their keys are cheap because they are bought with stolen money/credit cards and accounts using said keys will rapidly be permabanned once the original purchase falls through.
What utter nonsense. I know plenty of people who have purchased from that site and never been banned. Frankly, you have no idea what you are talking about. That site buys cheap keys from distributors that need to meet a quota for units sold.
As for preorder bonuses, no you shouldn’t expect to get them. That’s fair enough; if you want those you will need to buy from Arena Net.
You might consider perusing the Account Support sub-forum, and take a gander at the posts/threads from those individuals that had their account terminated due to fraudulent CD-Keys purchased from 3rd-party sites.
Here’s a Dev statement, as well: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/support/Buying-HoT-through-a-3rd-Party-Careful/first#post5175830
Good luck.
You get Core, Heart of Thorns, and Path of Fire for one price. That price is $49.99 (or whatever your currency is). Same price as the last expansion (plus Core).
Or, you can buy a la carte. No policy change.
Oh, and you left this part out of your quote above:
I followed the following statement up with ArenaNet: "In the future, if we release further Guild Wars 2 expansions, we plan to offer all of the prior expansions, the core game, and the latest expansion for one single purchase price."
I wasn’t sure what it meant. Did it mean there will only be one purchase-option if/when another expansion comes out? No. “We could offer different SKU ‘packages’ just as we are currently with Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns,” ArenaNet said.
So will that be at the same £35 price tag? “We can’t confirm pricing for possible future expansions,” ArenaNet said.
Good luck.

You can use the ‘Support’ link from any other guildwars2.com site page (Wiki/Releases/Community/Game/Media/etc.. Only the forums have a problem with the redirect, and only a certain amount of posters encounter this problem.
Good luck.
Positive:
- Riding the Raptor was a lot of fun (I think the attack range for its tail attack is bugged, btw).
- Helping the Sous Chef for a Mastery Point was a lot of fun. More content that doesn’t involve fighting is welcome.
- Very nice designs, but the map’s layout is lacking something. I can’t put my finger on it right now.
- Enjoyable soundtrack.
Negative:
- Not enough waypoints again. How about implementing the LWS3 Ep.6 mechanic?
- Bounties: Badly implemented idea. As there is only one waypoint and you can’t possibly defeat the Champion by yourself, you need to port to grab a bounty quickly when you happen to stumble across a mob fighting the respective champ, then hurrying back to the fight. Stressful and annoying!
- Too much action (events, enemies, tasks) cramped into small areas. It results in a rather stressful gaming experience. Also, it often leads to tasks overlapping, getting into each others’ way, making it impossible to finish them properly (like collecting fish carcasses and fighting a champ at the same time?). Blitz events are not helping the matter, either.
- Too many currencies and other means to acquire required equipment again (caches, unidentifies gear, map currency, etc.). Enough already!
- Too many movement requirements also cramped into small areas, in terms of jumping puzzles: catching casino coins, trying to get to a vista, trying to get a POI, and so on. Stop it, please.
- Got stuck in a wall again, this time when I used my S/A Revenant’s skill #4. Fix this annoying bug already, Anet!
Just an FYI: You don’t need to ‘grab’ a Bounty off the board to get credit for killing one. Just join in when you come across one.
Good luck.
Because those weapons better fit the skills/theme they wanted to go for with the new Elite Specialization?
Just went and check my Bank/Wallet…all seems good. Whilst you wait for a response from the CS Team, you might consider clearing your GW2 cache and/or a -repair of the client. Instruction for both found in the Knowledge Base accessed via the ‘Support’ link and ‘Search – Repair or Troubleshoot Trading Post’.
Good luck.
Due to the present high volume, the CS Team is allowing 7 days for responses. Unfortunately, at this time, one must exercise patience.
Good luck.
It is not. I believe the Heart of Thorns/Path of Fire bundle for $49.99 (it’s not 59.99) is a single Serial Key. But, for $29.99, you can purchase a single HoT Serial Key, and for $29.99, you can purchase a Path of Fire Serial Key (adding up to your $59.99). Just click the ‘Shop’ link above (don’t click on the drop-down menu), and make sure to purchase them separately (don’t add HoT/PoF to a cart that has the other).
Good luck.
Server population is strictly based on WvW, so it only changes at WvW reset and/or match-ups. No need to check hourly or daily.
You can check this page for Server population status: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/World#List_of_worlds
Good luck.
I would guess, if it was a feature in Path of Fire, they would have announced it along with Mounts and new Elite Specializations.
Though, one can always hope.
Good luck.
You can look in the Story Journal (My Story) and read about each of your characters. It will mention which Order each character chose.
Good luck.
^I think the OP was asking about Elite Specializations rather than Masteries.
And, no, OP, you only need Path of Fire to access the Elite Specializations offered in Path of Fire. However, if you want to access the Heart of Thorns Elite Specializations, you will need access to the Heart of Thorns expansion.
Good luck.
I enjoyed the Raptor, and am looking forward to the other Mounts.
If changes are to be considered, I hope they are options, and not just changes. I’d hate to lose the great feeling of riding Mounts.
Thanks for all your hard work, Devs. =)
If the Devs can easily introduce options, great! Otherwise, I have to stand in the camp of leaving Mounts as they are. And, I have some issues with Mounts, but I’m sure I will get used to said issues, and/or work around them.
Core Masteries were introduced with Heart of Thorns. Masteries are expansion-exclusive content. Path of Fire is not yet accessible, so you have to wait for launch to access Masterires, or, as stated above, purchase Heart of Thorns.
Do be aware: You need Mastery Points to unlock Mastery Track features, and it takes some time to acquire all that you need (although they have just added some easier ones in Core Tyria).
Good luck.

Then, the reward is even more inconsequential. It was never about the Spirit Shards, but the feeling there was something to be attained. Still, in many a post, Spirit Shards are stated to be the ‘reward’ that is missing.
The point is, some players feel/felt pressured to complete all Mastery Tracks for something that, in essence, rewards little, but a feeling of satisfaction.
Likely, some players would want that same feeling of satisfaction, and feel pressured, to acquire more/all Mastery Points.

Still, will there be enough players to populate 6 servers? Will the Austrialian, etc. players be content to play with only themselves (Data Servers being region-locked)?
You can set, in Options, Streaming – On Demand, and only download those files you need for the content you are playing at the time.
On Demand asks the game to download content only when the game requires it. This setting is useful for those who have data caps to worry about.
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Options#Streaming
Good luck.
I’m confused. 0.o
What kind of error are you experiencing?
It’s totally up to you, but it sounds like you are holding onto a spot for friends that might come back, rather than accommodating a friend that is here and wants to play now.
Again, whatever you decide, good luck.
I have 12, I believe, Bank Tabs, and spent not one cent on any. That’s the great thing about this game; anything offered in the Gem Store can be acquired through just playing the game (Gold-to-Gems exchange).
It costs nothing to play this game, other than purchasing expansions (even Living World Seasons are free when live, purchased with Gems when not).
Some players with L80 characters get by with1 or 2 Bank Tabs, some prefer the max. It’s really up to you and your inventory management. (There are other ways to store items than the Bank.)
Good luck.
Support Tickets broken, No email verification

You can submit a ticket anonymously; that requires no logging in.
Good luck.
It won’t change hourly/daily; only at WvW reset or when new match-ups happen.
If you are going to leave, what difference does it make if you transfer off your server then?
Best of luck wherever your gaming adventures lead.
It would seem odd, to me, to earn something in Open World, that would be spent in Raids. Or, even have the trader NPC for said Open World currency in a Raid, or Raid lobby.
And, having fought (and defeated) some of the Legendary Bounties in the demo, they didn’t seem that hard. Certainly was no zerg there, either.
Of course, that’s just me.
Huh! I was sure there was a (log-in)screen where one put in the account name(email address) and password (and eventually character name).
Oh well, it’s been awhile since I logged in.
^That was the background of Character Select, not the launcher, no?
It doesn’t say Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire?
The date would show that your purchased an expansion, as one can not purchase just “Guild Wars 2”, anymore. Likely, there is an ID number, as well.
Regardless, you can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ to discuss your issue.
Good luck.

I suggest that CS gets a bit of up-to-date training in how Server population works, and what PvE stands for, truly.
As noted above, there’s not a lot to be done, but watch WvW populations, especially when Match-ups change. Do remember, should your friend’s Server be matched with your Server, you two can play in WvW together as long as the match-up stays.
Good luck.
They Devs stated, just very recently, they can not, due to technical reasons.
Do you have the source for that? I’d like to save it.
Only for you: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/dungeons/Mistlock-Sanctuary-s-Fractal-Access/first#post6669846
At this point, no. It is actually not possible to do this in lounges that are in open world maps because of how we export character position on map transition.
(It’s always great to keep up with the Dev Tracker.) =)
You can not purchase Path of Fire in the Gem Store. It is a cash-only purchase. You can, however, upgrade a Standard Edition of Path of Fire to the Deluxe Edition of Path of Fire in the Gem Store.
I would not agree on Salvage-o-Matics being the best thing to purchase in the Gem Store, but all have their favorites.
I would suggest holding onto any Gems until one is more familiar with the game and your personal needs/desires (in regards to the game).
Good luck.
No one need be in fear of account action for using the wrong option in reporting. That’s not what ‘false reports’ is about. False reports is about purposely reporting a player falsely, again and again.
They Devs stated, just very recently, they can not, due to technical reasons.
If you ‘wrote’ to ArenaNet in-game through a Bug Report, you will get no response, as indicated on the Bug Report window.
For an individualized response, you can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.
Good luck.
Due to volume, it may take up to a week to receive the Gems. Usually within/at 72 hours, though.
Good luck.
The Mistlock Sanctuary offers one feature no other ‘pass’ does: A character is able to return to where they initiated use of the pass.
Well, that and low gravity, for now. =)
