Due to the present increased volume of tickets, the CS Team is allowing 7 days for responses. They are just a bit back-logged at present.
Good luck.
All characters can use the Pass if placed in a Shared Inventory Slot. I love my Royal Terrace Pass. =)
Map exploration is character-bound.
I would suggest leveling a character from 1 to 80. The level-up process affords you many tutorial tips.
Unlimited Tools are account-bound. You can swap them.
You could use a L80 Boost to unlock Masteries. Beware, the content in HoT is for experienced L80 characters. You must purchase HoT to unlock the Gliding Mastery.
Everyone has their favorites from the Gem Store. I would suggest waiting until you are more familiar with the game, and your personal game needs/preferences.
Dungeons are not necessary.
Dailies provide 2 Gold per day. There are many ways to make Gold; I’m sure many players have their favorites.
The Wiki is a great source for all things Guild Wars 2. (Link above, or accessed in-game by typing /Wiki [topic of choice] in the chat panel.)
Welcome return and good luck.
I think the difference used to be the offensive/defensive infusion slots. I think they did away with those when implementing the new infusions/whatever they are now.
Here’s a Dev quote from before Guild Wars 2 even launched:
For an existing Guild Wars player the story of Guild Wars 2 uses familiar locales, races, and themes, but shaped in an entirely new manner. 250 years have passed in Tyria; not everything is as a returning player would expect it.

Looks better than the Royal Pass. It has more features. I’m looking forward to it; not only to the features, but the location. Although it isn’t much Silver, it will save on costs to travel to and from Elona. I will appreciate not having to travel to Kryta (or heaven forbid, LA) to visit the Mystic Forge. (I know one can travel to WvW, but things are really spread out there, and sometimes there’s no Waypoint directly to the Forge.)
You can contact the CS Team and ask for assistance with accessing your old account. It’s an account reward, rather than a player reward, so I’m not sure they can give it to newer accounts.
Good luck.
If you had 6 slots when you purchased Heart of Thorns, it would have been because you purchased one of the editions that included a free character slot. You didn’t indicate you bought the Deluxe Edition.
If you now made another purchase that included another character slot, you would now be entitled to 7.
Again, you can contact the CS Team and discuss the issue with them.
Perhaps, you are confusing the Path of Fire Preparation Pack with the Path of Fire expansion, which you can not purchase in the Gem Store. You won’t get access to the expansion, Path of Fire, with any purchases in the Gem Store.
Good luck. =)

This may answer your questions:

Good luck.
Shouldn’t there be a green star or circle indicating the area on the map?
Each to their own.
Sometimes, the Royal Terrace has more players, sometimes, less. The amount of players, though, does not make any of the features less convenient. It’s not like one must physically push their way through a crowd to access an NPC or crafting station, etc.
If you are using Windows 7 or higher, I believe MicroSoft offers an upgrade to 64-bit at no cost. You could investigate that possible solution.
Good luck.
No. When you upgrade from Play4Free to a paid account, your character slots go from 2 to 5. A paid account, whether bought new or upgraded from Play4Free has 5 slots standard. Some purchases include an extra character slot. Then the account would have 6.
If your Play4Free account is different from your HoT account, it won’t make any difference whether you uninstall or not.
If you wish to use the same account, you can’t ‘uninstall’ part of your account.
They all use the same client; it’s just a matter of what maps/features you have unlocked.
Good luck.
I hope the Devs don’t make it less ‘cramped’, as having NPCs, etc. close together is what makes it convenient.
Thanks, Danikat, for the preview.
The Birthday Gifts are pretty nice nowadays.
For some, Gold is not hard to attain, but for others….
It’s really up to you; you can try farming for Gold for awhile, and see how it goes. At least wait until the 5th Birthday Gift; it’s only a couple of weeks.
Oh, and make sure your friends’ Server is not Full; check after weekly resets or match-ups.
Good luck.
No, paid accounts have 5 character slots standard. If your purchase included an extra character slot, you should have 6. Demo slots don’t count, as they will be removed at the end of the Beta Weekend(s).
When contacting the CS Team, you can discuss the missing character slot, and also ask to have your BL Instant L80 Ticket replaced.
Good luck.
You can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.
Do not chargeback your purchase, or risk termination of your account.
Good luck.
In the future, do try to heed the ‘Unique’ identifier. In this game, Unique signifies that only one can be equipped.
Using an Infusion is not the same as ‘infusing’ an item. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Infused_equipment
Good luck.
In an interview, the Devs stated they would rather the players figure out all the new builds. I’m sure things will change up even more when the new Elite Specializations are released.
(See Partner Participants Dev Interview videos.)
You can use the L80 Boost Ticket only if you have a free Shared Inventory Slot (or one with a L80 Boost occupying it).
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Black_Lion_Instant_Level_80_Ticket
You can use a L80 Boost on a L80 character for the rewards only.
Gem Store purchases will not show up in ‘My Account’. You may see your purchases in History in the Gem Store panel in-game.
Bag slots are for 1 character only.
If you continue to have no additional Character Slot, you can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.
Good luck.

Did you receive the near-immediate automated response? If so, the CS Team has delayed responses due to volume at this time.
Unidentified gear, why, oh why? It is a redundant RNG throwback to old style action RPGs that serves no purpose in Guild Wars, just adds to tedium and annoyance. Please remove it from PoF release.
Except it was in Guild Wars since inception.
I like it, personally. Saves space.
Good luck.
Finally figured out that was a horseshoe, after seeing it elsewhere. Lol.
I’ve re-dyed my Raptor soo many times. The Enameled Dyes are nice. Currently, it’s wearing a light moss-type of green. I wish the colors would stand out just a bit more. I’m hoping ‘other’ skins, should we get them’ allow more and/or better dyeing.
The CS Team is unable to ‘un’-unlock things on your account. Just a limit on their tools.
You can look up error codes here: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Error_code
Your materials are still in your bank on your non-demo account.
And for those that didn’t care for maps like VB or BF, I suppose it would be considered a blessing. If such maps were included, perhaps some would not consider purchasing.
No matter the design decisions, some will be thrilled, and others less so.
I don’t believe that is the reason WvW was removed from Map Completion. It had more to do with new maps.
Regardless, perhaps, some day, they will separate Raid Mastery from the ‘all HoT Mastery tracks’ requirement…or something similar.
Good luck.
I guess your browser is having difficulty connecting to the API. Have you tried a different browser? Tried clearing your cache?
No little red stars or red outlines on the fields?
I’ve never made a Play4Free account, so I’m unfamiliar with what it may, or may not, show.
Your friend (and only your friend) can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ (anonymously) for assistance.
Good luck.
Well, I guess the choice was to add HoT and charge the $50 dollars, or separate the purchases, and offer just PoF for $30. Considering the feedback last time that was tried, I can see why they went with this model.
In the Dev interviews, it sounded like there will be places where one might encounter some Gliding-specific mechanics, but that there would be other ways to traverse the content, as well. Probably should wait and see what the entire expansion and Living World Season 4 has to offer.
If you look further down on the purchase page, it does state Spearmarshal’s Gift.
Pre-Purchase: “Elonian Envoy” Title, Miniature Balthazar, The Spearmarshal’s Gift
All soulbound gathering tools can be exchanged to become account-bound.
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Black_Lion_Weapons_Specialist#Unlimited_gathering_tools
Good luck.
Tried the refresh button/tab? Made sure nothing in your browser settings is interfering with display?
I don’t have an issue with that page. Is that the only page you have problems with? You could leave feedback on the talk page, and ask those in the (Wiki)know for assistance.
Good luck.
It may be helpful if you state which particular fields are giving problems.
Only if you purchased them within the last 30 days or so. Otherwise, you got use out of your purchase. Sorry.
I didn’t (mean to) imply one would not be able to get places with access to all varieties of Mounts. My point was that gliding has its uses in the new (demo area of the) map. As opposed to the opening post stating there was no opportunities or use for gliding there.
I think it’s more of a typo on the purchase page.
What one receives is the Spearmarshal’s Gift (a choice of one Elonian Weapon).
They should probably fix that.
ArenaNet never stated, “New xpac makes previous ones free”.
What they did state was that previous expansions and current expansions would be offered bundled at a single price point.
I used gliding in the new map to get places I could not get to on my Mount. Seems like they have a place in the desert.
R. L. Salvatore didn’t write anything in Nightfall, or any other part of Guild Wars or Guild Wars 2. Geez.
As in creating a Play4Free account, or as in purchasing Heart of Thorns and/or Path of Fire and then creating an account?
I’m not sure what ‘bug’ is being reported. Raptors don’t swim (doubtful any of the Mounts will). In other words, they aren’t supposed to be able to go underwater.
Perhaps, GM Awesomeness has been extra busy with the inundation of Support Tickets.
Just a thought.
What kind of error?
You can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.
Good luck.
Demo Feedback:
If Anet thought that solo players would find others to play with ‘just because of bounties’, think again.
Many are in very private guilds who don’t add others to their numbers to go after bounties.
Where does this leave solo players? Where does this leave anyone who plays in the middle of the night when few are around?
Not buying that expansion, that’s for sure.
You don’t need to be in a Guild, a Party, or any kind of formal grouping to take part, and receive credit, in killing a Bounty. You don’t even have to take out a contract.
Good luck.
Well, you can try a -repair of the client. Bit faster, and possibly less costly, than reinstalling. Instructions found in the Knowledge Base, as well.
Also, make sure no adblockers or other add-ons are affecting the browser. (The TP is browser-based.) Not sure they can, but worth a try.
Make sure nothing is interfering with CoherentUI, as well.
If you continue to have issue, you can contact the CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance. (Oh, never mind, you have already contacted them, I see.)
Good luck.
