I do, as well. I have enjoyed playing and replaying the instances. Decent drops in there, as well. I am also quite curious as to what May will bring; the beginning of another different chapter in our Living Story. Yay!
Now, Vayne…You know they have said they are working on a few different things, at different times. Lol.
Perhaps you are right, and it will be this update. We should get the details this week, maybe tomorrow, on what this update will entail. =)
I wonder who that could have been?
I don’t think it will be this patch, but, of course, I could be wrong…often am…lol.
Maybe we will all be pleasantly surprised. =)

As far as I understand, no one receives a ‘ban e-mail’, unless they have contacted support first. Did your friend open a ticket with support? If not, I can’t imagine what this e-mail might be other than a phishing attempt. Did your friend get any other e-mails supposedly from ArenaNet prior to this ban? And click on the links inside said e-mails?
Just wondering what is going on here.
I’m pretty confident you haven’t a clue.
Not all of the Crystal Desert was Desolation. In fact, there were no accessible toxic parts until Nightfall was released. That being said, parts of the Crystal Desert are now lush and verdant, a savannah, because of the river Elon’s diverted path.
So, there will not necessarily be ‘dying within 3 feet’ when accessing the Crystal Desert.
You need to create a support ticket and explain what has happened.

I loved the Crystal Desert in GW. Though, seeing something new might be fun.
Thx, ASB…good to see you posting, if not playing. =)
They seem to have removed the blog a month or two ago. You may find this helpful, though: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.arena.net/blog
How do you upgrade from a free account?
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Inculpatus cedo.9234
I am pretty sure that is exactly how to upgrade an existing account, as when you go to register the serial number, it asks you if you have an existing account.
But, if you have concerns, contacting support is always a good idea. =)
Per support answers:
How long does it take to conduct an account restoration?
The process takes only a short time, but because the research and verification process is time-consuming, we ask that you allow several days for us to complete the restoration.
support.guildwars2.com ‘Answers’
The best thing to do is contact support at support.guildwars2.com
They can assist you with changing email address associated with the game.

@DJ
You might want to edit that picture so that it doesn’t show your email address for all to see.
You might try here: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Concept_art

@Coyote…you should contact support immediately and apprise them of the situation. Also change your passwords for your game and email. Now. Best of luck to you.
Satisfaction. =)
Not sure where you are seeing this, but sometimes people show what they got from drops, sometimes it’s accidents when moving items, sometimes posting in wrong chat, etc.
Unfortunately, account restorations do not include in guild bank items. So sorry for your loss.
You could try perusing this thread: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/audio/A-guide-to-custom-playlists/page/2#post923502
Maybe if you made your own custom playlist, it would fix your audio issue. Otherwise, you might post in that forum, or contact tech support.
Good luck. =)
Oh, and there is an option to play music more frequently in options.
If you were considering posting a shady link, it is best you don’t…warning or no warning.
Otherwise, I have no idea what you are on about.
Didn’t seem like a humongous turnout for the event. Hardly any tickets in the box for the free give-away. Still, I wish ArenaNet much success in China. =)
I’m with you, Scarlet Raven. It just isn’t worth the abuse.
You are allowed to upgrade your account. As the Collector’s Edition is just a DDE version with non-virtual goodies, I don’t see why not. But, to be sure, create a ticket and ask support. Then, you will be sure.
Two Crafted Items Soulbound Instantly Upon Mail Reciept
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Inculpatus cedo.9234
Items may also become Soulbound in several ways:
Applying an upgrade to an item.
Damaging or breaking armor will soulbind it until it is repaired
Equiping masterwork or better quality equipment
Equiping items with an upgrade component already applied
Per the wiki: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Soulbound
(edited by Inculpatus cedo.9234)
From the wiki:
What can be salvaged
Only two kinds of items can be salvaged:
Equipment – including weapons, armors and some trinkets – including aquatic weapons and breathing apparatuses
Salvage item
Certain trinkets, some starting equipment, town clothing, back items and equipment bought with karma can not be salvaged. With the exception of cultural armor, nor can any weapons or armor purchased from a vendor for coin.
Getting back deleted characters/deleted armor
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Inculpatus cedo.9234
ArenaNet does not replace items lost due to user-error. It’s unfortunate, but that’s the way it is. You can contact support and ask them to, but the answer will most likely be: sorry, we can not replace the items.
From the example, that bleed lasts 8 and one quarter seconds, and the damage is 152. (It’s an ‘s’, not a 5.) =)
Condition damage ticks once per second.
The wiki is helpful, often.
I love my Necromancer, and I really like light armor. I’m not much of a Warrior type, so I can’t really compare. At the end of the day, it can only be your choice, and nothing prevents you from leveling one and later, leveling another. (I have 2 level 80s, and a level 77, 68, and 50-something.) =)
Oh, and my Necromancer was the last character started leveling up; she spent the first 6 months in town just crafting. Turned out to be other main!
I have done dailies since headstart, except for when work travel or other things beyond my control prevent it. I like them, it’s something to do that suits my playstyle. I am not focused on getting uber-gear or mini-pets or anything. I know, I’m odd. =P
I really have to special goals, I just like playing the game. =)
Game and website remember password, I forgot

Some browsers allow you to look at your saved passwords. I know Firefox does. You might check there.
You are welcome. =)
And it would be best to remove any links to ‘phishy’ sites.
As has been stated in countless dueling threads, not everyone is excited about the prospect for world dueling. The best compromise seems either an instance or a designated zone for dueling. Just my, and others for a duel-free world’s opinion.
You just never learn. Well, this thread will soon be locked if not deleted. Perhaps, anger management might be of some service. Good luck on not getting perma-banned after this display.
These are phishing emails. Disregard them. You can see them posted in the aforementioned thread. Support never spams the users. =)

It a phishing email…disregard it. There is a large thread on these emails here in the account issues forum.
My brothers Acct. was hacked! now what?

Posted by: Inculpatus cedo.9234
If your brother has not heard anything from support in 72 hours from first creating the ticket, he can submit his support ticket number in the sticky thread for 3-day and older tickets. Then Gaile will take a look at what’s going on for him. =)
I did the sonic periscope monthly within the first week or so, and I didn’t incur any costs. It takes little time to travel from the city to the zones in question. For instance, Hoelbrak to Wayfarer to Diessa, and at low levels, it wasn’t too difficult to pick them up on any characters that might be in the area. Also, if someone else had taken down the periscope, and you were anywhere near the vicinity, the salvage material was just waiting there for you to pick up. I have to admit, the maps were of a great help, and I memorized the locations in a couple of zones after the first 2 or 3 times.
And now, they are soooo much easier to do, and plenty of time left to do them. =)
This page may be helpful: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Conditions
As I understand it, a stacked condition may last for 10 seconds, and a -Condition food (say 10%) would affect that condition so that it lasted only 9 seconds then.
These are just arbitrary numbers, but you get the idea. Duration, or the reduction of duration is rounded to the nearest quarter second. I think, anyway, I’m not an expert on condition removal.

@bluestocking…I had to smile when I read your post. =)
Prepare for the ubiquitous tongue-lashing. =)
Truly, swear all you like in the confines of your home or perhaps, party and guild, but do exercise some restraint when typing in public.
It could…I was playing on my mesmer, and I am really not very good on that character, but I didn’t come close to dying (unlike often). =P
I love my ranger, but….
If your friend likes the way her character looks, a light armor profession might be more fun in the beginning. I certainly liked the armor my nec, mes and ele had much better than my ranger’s or my engi’s. Still do. lol
Food for thought.
As ArenaNet has shown us in the past, they have the ability to raise the server cap at any time; I would not be surprised if they do so for this weekend. Although, this would not affect any queues for WvW, I doubt there will be queues to ‘get on some servers’.
Of course, I could be wrong. =)
I haven’t noticed a discernible difference. And I just left off playing in Brisban, though I am not sure if I was in the Shattered Henge area.
It really isn’t that hard to stay in one zone long enough to get this achievement. At least, not once you are of a higher level. As it is, it is too easy to deserve a title…in my opinion.

You say you are waiting for ‘official word’. Was not the several responses you received on your support tickets ‘official’ enough? You did contact ArenaNet support, did you not?
Either way, I am sure you will get the official response in this thread, soon, that you have requested and deserve. I hope it works out in the best possible way.
