You are absolutely right, agauos, and I apologize.
It is probably never good advice to listen to those that get inappropriate language-suspended and argue about it on the forums.
I should not have said that, and I, again, apologize.
The dolyak is part of the nearby skill point, I believe.
Approximately every six minutes an Old Dolyak will spawn and head to Dolyak’s Rest to die, where a Dolyak Spirit will then spawn and head into a nearby cave.
There is a chance that a bandit ghost named Veteran “Slick” Ricki will spawn from the pile of Dusty Bones next the waterfall after the spirit disappears.
Always good advice from a fellow 72-hour ban for inappropriate language user.
I don’t think so.
Khilbron’s armor is a themed light armor set, based off of the character, Vizier Khilbron, from Guild Wars. All pieces come with a Superior Rune of the Lich. This shares skins with the Exotic version of Acolyte armor, and Jatoro’s Armor, Mhenlo’s armor, Norgu’s Armor, Ogden’s armor, Tahlkora’s armor, Zhed’s Armor

I think it’s WAI.
Display names are usually changed because the user chose something inappropriate. They take the letters of the inappropriate name and anagram them into something, well, appropriate. Think about what your display name was previously, and you may find the reason for the change.
I went months and months and months at 174/175 in Shiverpeaks, and it turned out to be Forsaken Halls, so I would try there first. Good luck! =)
Welcome to Tyria! I like the game a lot, too, and play every day. Don’t be discouraged by naysayers, make your own decisions about what you like and what you don’t like. There are some great things in-game, and some that each group of people doesn’t like. For me, though, it is improving every month. Again, welcome, and have fun!
It is always good to have ideas, and if you want the devs to see them, do post them in the suggestions forum. Keep up the good work. =)
It seems this thread has become waaay off-topic.
OP, the new dungeon is just that, a 5-man instanced dungeon with some new mechanics, supposedly, that we haven’t seen before. I am looking forward to getting inside and checking it out! =)
No idea what you said, but if it was a word that began with the letter ‘N’, then I can not understand how you could ever think that was acceptable, at all. I feel you must be trolling everyone. I wouldn’t bother appealing, it won’t do any good. You might check all the other threads about being banned for offensive language.
No such address associated with Guild Wars 2. There is a plethora of phishing emails circulating at this time. ArenaNet will never ask you for information such as that.
Congratulations.
Are you saying because other games do something, this game should, as well? I am neither agreeing or disagreeing about armor styles, I just want to know if that is your reason for suggesting this, (and as a suggestion, you should probably post it in that forum).
Oh, and you should probably amend your title, and speak for yourself, because I am demanding no such thing. =)

Your best bet is to contact support and discuss the issue.
support.guildwars2.com
They should be able to help you with this. Good luck. =)
The best thing to do is tell your friend to contact support and explain the issue he is having with the game.
support.guildwars2.com
Either use the ‘Ask a Question’ option, or send an email directly to that address.
You can post in Tech Support, as well, as this isn’t really an account issue.
You’re welcome, Ashley. =)

Well, since the thing that ‘stings’ is being removed from the game, and not being removed from chat, it seems ArenaNet made a good decision in what they deemed appropriate punishment. I am sorry you can’t play, but you took the chance, being fully cognizant of the consequences, and now must pay the price.
Is this acceptable? I don't think so....

You might consider contacting support, again, and asking them if they are sure they do not have a restore point closer than 2 months ago. Of all the posts on the forums about restoration, no one has ever expressed having such a distant restore point. Perhaps, someone made a mistake in looking at the ‘snapshots’, and this can be resolved more to your satisfaction. It does sound rather unusual. Good luck.

They usually don’t remove people for a ‘minor’ foul language issue. When all comes to light, more often than not, it isn’t minor, at all, but something else, entirely. The thing is, what you might find humorous, might be insulting or hurtful to others. You were warned before you played the game, after all. You can always spend this little ‘vacation’ catching up on other enjoyable activities. =)
You probably won’t get a response from ‘forums@arena.net’. Most people don’t, and that isn’t where you send requests for account issues. You need to contact support at support.guildwars2.com
Either use the ‘Ask a Question’ option, or send them an email.

Even though you have told the GW2 client to no longer remember your password, it still may be stored in your browser. You might consider looking there, it’s worth a shot.
@Nate…yes, that worked after having to turn off Module Protection to allow the Trading Post to come up, then run the scan whilst it was active. I have no idea why you can’t right click when Malwarebytes quarantines processes through Protection mode.
@abased…that is great to hear! Though it is now on my ‘ignore’ list, and I think I will just leave it there, in case it should be deemed ‘dodgy’ again in the future. As to auto-updates, mine is set to check once an hour, so no waiting. =)
Ashley, I see this response often from you, but this part is always confusing:
2. Type in temp exactly as shown. (With the precent signs)
Nowhere is ‘temp’ actually shown with percent signs.
I happened to read another tech support thread with a response by another dev, and saw temp with a percent sign before and after. Having posted this with those percent signs included, I see the forum edits them out. I have no idea how you get them to show up, but they are not showing up in your..or my…posts. That can be confusing for those people trying to use your advice to alleviate their problems.

For me, and this is just my opinion, the sonic periscopes were much more appealing than some of the other choices. It didn’t take long to circle the zone and pick the 10 up, and I thought the challenge was fun. I still pick up sonic logs for the karma when I encounter them since the change, and especially seek out the ones with mobs. They were my favorite. =)
That would be a good idea.
Ahh…my Malwarebyte caught it through the Protection Module and not through the daily scan, so that must be the difference. Right-click does not seem to work from the quarantine area for me. I will run a quick scan, and see if I can add it that way. Thanks for the tip.
It is never a good idea to post personal information on the forums. It would be good idea to edit your post, and remove said information. Also, if you want help, posting your support ticket number is helpful. Good luck.
Sadly, right-click doesn’t work with Malwarebytes Pro, and the ‘add’ function does not, either (it being a temp file). Thus, the workaround I posted previously is your only choice at this time.
Actually, it is TROJAN.AGENT.ED
I have found a workaround for this until Malwarebytes fixes their database.
With GW2 not running, temporarily turn of module protection in Malwarebytes. Start up GW2 and then the Trading Post. Minimize GW2 and start up module protection in Malwarebytes, again. Once the awesomium process is working, Malwarebytes will not turn it off. This is the only way I have found to be able to access the Trading Post while Malwarebytes has this database problem. I hope this is helpful to those with a Trading Post access problem. =)
Ok, after doing some research at the Malwarebytes forums, it seems the ‘virus’ labeled TROJAN.AGENT is a false positive and Malwarebytes has said the will be adding it to their white list soon.
So, I guess it is ok…I’m not really all that virus/trojan tech savvy.
And thanx, I have a decent virus scanner, and malware scanner, else it would not have picked it up and quarantined it…lol.
Sadly, it does not seem possible to ask the Malwarebytes program to ignore it as it sits in temp.
(edited by Inculpatus cedo.9234)
My Malwarebytes is also suddenly detecting the awesomium process/file (which is the Trading Post) as a trojan. Never had this problem before. Has it suddenly been corrupted/hacked/something?

Sadly, like all the other threads/requests to recompensate for user error, the answer remains the same: ArenaNet can not and will not rollback accounts except in the cases of hacking/stolen accounts. I am sorry for your loss, and I am sure you will be much more careful in the future.

The smart thing to do would have been to report them for abuse. Then, they would be here in the forum crying that they were wrongfully suspended. It is best to always read documents before you sign and agree to them. When you get back in game, you always have the option to report anyone that is being abusive, foul language or not.

This is a phishing email. It would be best if you removed the link as it leads to a scam website. If you entered any information there, immediately change your passwords for the game and your email. It would be even better to change your game log-in email address. You might want to contact support, as well, if you gave away your game information.
There is a sticky and a large thread about these emails on this forum.
