Suspended for undirected profanity in say?

Sadly, for you, the rules prohibit using vulgar language in chat. If you feel you were suspended in error, do contact Customer Support and plead your case. The existence of a chat filter gives no one the right to use profanity. The fact that others break the rules is really not a good excuse. Best of luck to you with Support.

Being reported as a bot means nothing without evidence gathered by the ArenaNet employee investigating the report. Just because someone reports a ‘bot’ doesnt mean that ‘bot’ will be automatically banned. ArenaNet checks the logs for suspicious activity, and if a ban is warranted, then that is when action is taken.
If Support determines your account was hacked by persons unknown, you can request a rollback to a time before said hack. Update your ticket to request an Account Restoration. Again, good luck. =)
You can always contact Support by sending an email to support@guildwars2.com
Good luck. =)
You might feel more assured if you look up your IP address and see where it is located. Or ask your provider. Sounds as if you have a dynamic IP address. If you still feel concern, you can always contact Customer Support.

Maybe GW1 appeals to you more as it doesnt change much at all. The premise of GW2 is that it is constantly evolving, a Living World, and thus you are offered Living Stories that are somewhat transient.
I played GW1 for about 7000 hours and it is true, it’s different than GW2. I enjoy both of them. There are a few things I miss from GW1, but there are many things I would miss from GW2 should I go back. They are kind of like children, very different, but both quite lovable.
The great thing is, just like with GW1, you can leave for awhile and always come back and pick up where you left off. Happy adventuring in Tyria, no matter when. =)
If fishing was like it was in Animal Crossing, I think it would be fun. I haven’t played it in other MMOs, though. Choice of things to do is always good. =)
Sadly, there isn’t anyway to remedy user-error when destroying, losing, salvaging, etc. items. If you have already spoken to Support, then there isn’t much that can be done.
It would be prudent to remove all personal information from your post, though, just to be on the safe side.
I am sorry for your friend’s loss. There are some new mini-pets being released throughout this spring, I am looking forward to the new baby moa chick. Good luck. =)

You need no special information to download the client onto any computer. What you do need to know to log-in to your account is the email associated with your account and your password. If you need assistance with either of those, you can contact Customer Support and they will help you.

Probably only if we pre-order the expansion. =) That’s how it worked previously.
Just noticed servers are starting to show Full again, after the recent server population cap increase, so the game is alive and well! No need to worry about it dying, so you aren’t too late to the party. Welcome to Tyria. =)
I have absolutely no problem taking my level 80s into lower level zones. They are many, many times stronger than any level-appropriate character. I can’t believe you have trouble, we must be playing different games. It’s pretty much a face-roll, and I have very little exotic armor, mostly rares, and even some blues, still. I remember trying to do the Fire Elemental when I started….what a disaster….now all the down-leveled 80s take it on, and it lasts a minute or two. Same with every other low-level boss. If anything, we as 80s are TOO strong for low levels.
If one is new, they can delete their existing characters, and transfer to any server free of charge. Well, you can do this even if you aren’t new. As for guesting only twice per day, that isn’t the case, you can guest to only two different worlds per day, but as many times as you like. As far as dead servers go, I haven’t really heard about any yet, but if there are some, I would guess ArenaNet would put in place some other option for those on such a server. You can join guilds cross-server, there are some different rules about influence and upgrades in that circumstance. The wiki has lots of information about guilds and guesting, and really, all aspects of the game. =)
I do not know exactly what your issue is, but there are many threads in Bugs, Tech Support and BLTC about this very thing, with solutions given by other users and staff. You can always contact Customer Support and ask for assistance, as well. Best of luck to you on solving your problem. =)
As far as the wiki goes, that was pure speculation by the creator of that page. I would guess that the reason for no capes so far are clipping issues. I have clipping issues with my one-handed weapons on almost all my characters’ armor. =(
There is a possibility that you were reported at the time you kicked said person from your group. Perhaps, some kind of written exchange took place at that time. Usually when we get stories on the forums of people being kicked from groups and they have screenshots, the language back and forth isn’t too pleasant. As others have pointed out, it takes awhile for the human Support staff to check all the logs and determine who and how many are at fault. Remember, the other party(s) may be sitting out a suspension as well. Once Customer Support responds to your ticket, all will be clear as to what transpired. =)
Your ‘brother’ was on the forums just yesterday, protesting his innocence as well. Oddly enough, he sounds exactly like you! I do hope your entire family exercises some more stringent safeguards, so that you all will stop being hacked by gold-sellers. Much luck to you on your review, I hope the answers you get are much deserved. =)
Customer Support can help you with this issue. Just submit a ticket explaining why you cannot log in.

As much as you may not like me posting in this thread, here is some information that may put your mind at ease:
Gaile Gray:
’The most important thing for you to know, to set your mind at ease, is that the agents don’t take action based solely on reports. If someone is submitting false reports, it’s far more likely that s/he will be actioned than that you will. If you find yourself with an undeserved suspension, contact Support and they will help sort it out.
Basically: No one can “grief” someone else through support, and trying to do so will put their account in jeopardy, and not their intended victim.’
Best of luck. =)
I don’t think you understand what we are saying. No matter how many times you are reported, if there is no evidence, in-game, to back up the report, there will be no action taken. Regardless, nothing can be done from the forums. If you have an issue, contact Customer Support.
Good luck.
Those that investigate reports will not access 3rd-party websites, so if you were suspended for behavior, it was behavior in-game. Without knowing which message you received when trying to log in, we can’t really comment on what might have caused the suspension.
If you feel you have been suspended in error, please submit a support ticket with Customer Support, and explain the situation.

You are most welcome! Good luck. =)
You can always look through your submitted tickets by accessing your support account. If you are asking about looking at other users’ tickets, no, you can’t look at theirs. Again, good luck on your issue. =)
Not sure what to say….
You can always post in the Bug forum, maybe others have your issue, as well. Good luck. =)
Log into your support account and amend your original ticket.

Aww…I have been wasting potions, as well. Thanks for the heads-up.
I spend a LOT of time in the lower zones, and I just spent about 400K on those karma boxes. Lol. Lots of people in the lower zones, doing dailies, Boss events, etc. Seems viable to me, but that’s just me. =)
I still get Xp for additional daily categories.
If you look through the dev posts, I believe they address this very issue. Good luck. =)
You might find this helpful, as well as the wiki which documents it.
One never knows what the future may bring! =)
And here, in the sticky: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/account/A-Note-about-Phishing-Emails/first#post1901176
It should be only a short time to change servers. The only time it takes more than, say, half an hour is when there is some kind of technical issue. You should have no problem keeping your character’s name.
If you have any concerns about changing servers, feel free to contact Customer Support, and they will assist you. Good luck. =)

I am confused by your post. What exactly is your issue? Remember, you can always go to the Mists to try out traits and builds without repercussions. Good luck. =)
You can send an email to support@guildwars2.com explaining the offensive name, and include screenshots, etc. Be sure to include the users name, and map, server, etc. I am sure Support will take action as they see fit.
Surprised there aren’t many suggestions to go to Tarnished Coast already. That seems to be the place everyone talks about as being full of people. I don’t really know what other servers are like as I have never felt the need to leave my own, HoD, but I won’t suggest it because we fell from WvW grace long, long ago. Lol. Good luck on your search for a new home in Tyria.
Oh! You can check out the Leaderboards to see which servers are best at WvW and PvP, as well. =)
Aww…You are so sweet!
It is she, by the way. Lol, I was just saying that very thing this morning. I wish I could be helpful every day and be remunerated in some way. Ha ha ha. But Gaile is the wonderful one, I just emulate her; I’m sure ArenaNet needs no more help in that area.
Anyway, thank you so much for the kind words. (blushing a bit here) I am just thrilled you found me helpful.

Great to hear. Enjoy your purchases! =)
The only way you can communicate with someone is by creating a ticket and asking Customer Support.
Sometimes too many purchases in a short period of time sets off a flag. If you contacted Support, I am sure they will assist you with your issue.
Good luck. =)
If the name is XXX and those aren’t just characters you are using to denote something else, I would guess it is because XXX denotes hardcore sexual themes. I am not sure, but you can always contact Customer Support and ask about it.

Well, if they are having a display problem with one part of Magic Find, they may be having a display problem with other parts, as well.
If you feel it is broken, then it might be best to post in the Game bugs forum. =)
Here you go: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/MF-under-boon-Food-buff-Not-Working/first#post1940297
Also this: Superior Sigil of Luck will grant 0.6% magic find for each kill, up to 15% bonus.
My toon is wearing a full Travelers set plus 5 superior tunes of the pirate and 1 rune of the noble; the golden lotus +MF infusion a Yakkington’s ring; and superior sigil of life.
Attributes counter total MF at 0 stacks sigil of life = 110% = incorrect base total
At 25 stacks = 128! = incorrect sigil functionality.Either the attributes counter is incorrect or MF mechanics are simply broken. Either way I’m quite disappointed by this.
I am confused…what has Sigil of Life to do with Magic Find? Is he saying Sigil of Life is giving him more Magic Find? Is it possible something else happened when he was stacking the effects of Sigil of Life that made the MF go up?
(edited by Inculpatus cedo.9234)
The description says things such as cloth and water. I think the way they move, etc.
I don’t PvP, so I don’t know much about it. Does loot drop in sPvP? If not, I would guess that is why they left off Magic Find in the stats. The way Celestial stats work is a bit of increase to every stat viable for the game mode.
Well, there’s this: http://www.arena.net/
and this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ArenaNet
From the looks of this information, I would guess at more than 2 devs.
