Good luck. =)
Couldn’t someone ask their friends and guildies to run lower level Fractals, maybe once a day, just for the ‘lols’ and being helpful, and help out their guildmates get the useful AR resistance gear? I know it isn’t the ideal way of solving a problem, but lots of times guilds help out their guildmates with such things. Then, in a period of time, no one would have to feel left out. =)
Hacker gets password change via ticket?

If you have questions about correspondence from Customer Support, open a ticket yourself, and ask them to verify whether someone contacted them in your name. Explain what you have explained here. Also, changing your passwords for the game account and your email would not be a bad idea.

Please either edit or remove the pictures that show your personal information, as displaying your email address just makes it easier for hackers to compromise your account.

Account suspended for unacceptable name
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Inculpatus cedo.9234
Usually, when accounts are suspended for inappropriate names, they are soon allowed back in game (in less than the 72 hours), having only to rename the character. You might just keep trying to log in, and see if this holds true in your case.
You can also submit a ticket to Customer Support to discuss this issue, if you so desire.

Oh, and I can see why that name would be inappropriate. If you remove the space, I am sure you can, as well.

Some great ideas, though this will probably get moved to suggestions. Keep up the good work. =)
This post seems very familiar. Not sure, but I could have sworn I saw it in a closed thread. ?
Ok, let’s say you are right, and no other game has rules like Guild Wars 2. Ok. They do things differently. Hmm, they do a few things differently. Some people agree and enjoy their way of doing things, and some people don’t. It is, after all, their game, their ‘ball’; they make the rules. I guess we can all abide by them, or….well, not. /shrug
My apologies…*disallow automated multi-boxing
Although many games do allow multi-boxing, (and there are different definitions of the term,) some that do not allow it are RuneScape and Immortal Night. Although they are in the minority, Guild Wars 2 is not alone in the decision to disallow multi-boxing.

Just so you know, the display names shown on the posts are the in-game IDs. Welcome to Tyria! =)
Yes, it does. The account will transfer, not the characters. Your bank, and all goods in it will transfer to the new server. Best of luck wherever you end up. =)
I am afraid you will need to rephrase your idea, because I can not understand exactly what it is you are proposing. =)
This would probably be your best bet for answers, other than maybe GW1 support:
Everytime they patch, you can read the update notes in News and Announcements.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/info/news/Game-Update-Notes-April-30-2013/first#post1990339
If you scroll down, you can see each patch, and what was added, fixed, etc.
I don’t think it says ‘in’, but ‘within’…meaning any time in the next hour or two. A warning to get ready: it is coming any time in the next hour, probably, but possibly two.
Just my take on the message.
If you have already submitted a ticket, and received a response, it depends on the circumstances leading up to the ban. If the account was banned because of a breach of the ToS, you must suffer the consequences. If the account was banned because it was compromised, once you regain control of the account, I am sure you will be able to log into GW1.

There is no reason to enact a rule which states removing a certain number of items from a guild bank causes the person to be required to stay in said guild. All guild deposits and withdrawals are noted in the guild bank archive. It shows the users’ display or character name right there. If it is a matter of knowing where they are, which I don’t know why you would need to, just add their name from the log to your friends’ list. If they have blocked you, I am not sure it would matter if they were in or out of your guild.

They do drop, just very, very rarely. I think in my 1800 or so hours I have had one, or at the most two drop. All the others were from story step completion, from inside BLTC chests, or having purchased them.
Why won't it let me on my GW2 account?

Well, if it’s any consolation, I only use high level characters.
I usually get 1-2 per day, sometimes when lucky 5-6 in a day. I usually play about 2 hours a day; but, of course, sometimes more.
Server population fluctuates; so, often it is just a matter of time until the opportunity arises to create an account on that server. You could create your characters on a different server, and then your child could guest to your server for everything but WvW. Your child could delete all his/her characters and transfer to a server of your choice for free. (If doing so, remember to place all non-soulbound items in the bank, to be picked up by the new character[s].) These are the options available at this time.
Welcome to Tyria, best of luck, and happy adventuring! =)
If they bring back the same content, you will be able to get those achievements. If, instead, they offer new (different) content, I am sure there will be other achievements you can complete at that time, relating to the current holiday. =)
Whether you feel someone was offended or not, the staff considered your names, and found them inappropriate. You can wait for an official response in this thread, but it might be awhile, as Gaile is on vacation.

It seems pretty diverse with five different races. I understand you would like more choices in regards to humans, and that may or may not be available in the future, but it seems ArenaNet took a slightly different course on giving us diversity at this time.
Well, Colin hinted that the dungeon might be found in fractals sometime in the future. Who knows what might happen in-game in days, months, years to come?
Although they are not dreadlocks like Rox has, you can get free dreadlocks in-game (Lamprey Grottoes) for any character.
wait what?
I have wanted dreadlocks on my human mesmer since beta- please elaborate- I actually have a screenie of my Mesmer in the grotto- I can go back there in a heartbeat.

To make sure any account is safe, always use a secure password, and email address if required. Receiving the phishing email doesn’t make you any less safe, clicking on links may or may not make you less safe. If you have concerns about your bank account, speak to your bank representative. Good luck. =)
Happy to have you back, and I am sorry you have had such tribulations. Best of luck in the future! =)

Come back? Was it ever available anywhere but PvP? I really like the looks of that armor, but I always thought it was PvP-only.
Zork ftw! Hey, Pong ftw! lol I am old, as well.
I don’t find any grind in this game. I don’t really care to do much in the fractal area, I have enough laurels to buy ascended gear, yet I don’t feel the need to do so. I enjoy crafting, gathering, exploring – I just enjoy playing the game. I truly don’t understand some people’s viewpoint on ‘the grind’, but each to their own. To me, it’s a game, so I should have fun playing it – which I do. =)
I see you have already posted in the sticky for review. Remember, you can update your ticket with new information at any time. They have responded saying it will take some time to discern what is going on with your account, so you can only wait for said review.
