There was quite a bit of Guild-selling near launch of HoT. I don’t remember reading any posts/threads about issues with it.

I don’t think players log in purely for the 10 AP, but rather they would not miss logging in for the 10 AP if it was still available. That’s a difference.

Also, not doing the Dailies might mean less players spread around in the different areas of the game. Wasn’t that the purpose of the current Dailies?

Again, I suppose it matters little; ArenaNet has the metrics and the knowledge of what is best for the game.

Not that it means anything at all, but I found a Silver Doubloon in my inventory yesterday; something that rarely happens outside by dedicated L21 parked JP character.

I was surprised.

Could be a bug, like the L80 Boost one; stranger things have happened. =)

Odd, I only needed one Broken Caladbolg for the entire quest, including acquiring all the skins.

Are you trying to create another weapon, or just the first weapon? You should only need a second (or third) Broken Caladbolg (acquired via Hearts and Minds on a different character) to create another actual weapon.

The forums aren’t run by a third party, they are run by ArenaNet. The forums were created by a third party, that no longer services forums.

The bug is odd, and eventually seems to correct itself; I had it for months, ever since they changed the redirect to the new ‘Support’ site. Now, it’s working; no idea why. It does not affect everyone who uses Chrome, nor everyone that uses Firefox, or other browsers. The certificate does not seem to like the language modifier for some users.

As a work-around, you can use the ‘Support’ link from any other Guild Wars 2 site page.

Welp, I stand corrected. Odd that the Wiki didn’t pick that information up for months. It first mentions the AP cap on June 27th. They do talk/debate about the Monthly/Daily merge a year later, that was supposed to happen in early 2015.

Regardless, I, personally, would be more motivated to be sure to log in each day if there was not a cap. Still, I suppose ArenaNet knows best.

So, enjoying a challenge means no self-respect and/or playing too much Guild Wars 2? I think there are probably more Hero Challenges than required, and I’m not sure Map Completion can only be considered solo play.

It’s not a horrible thing to ask for help in a multi-player game…in my opinion, of course.

Not to mention, is there even a Hero Challenge in The Falls??

The cap shows up in the Wiki about that time because that was when the official announcement about merging the two caps came. Not an announcement that there would be a cap.

Thus, I too, believe there was a cap for some time before that. Though, as proposed above, it may not have been since launch, as I stated, but put in shortly thereafter when those high APs acquired by cheesing their totals by salvaging were removed and a cap added to Agent of Entropy. (Which was around March of 2013, so about 6 months in.)

There are more instances than those just in Fractals, Raids and Dungeons.

Why only 5 Episodes, instead of each team releasing 2, and continuing each of the 3 stories?

Have you tried just breaking the break bar at 20%? We thought it bugged out there, as well, but once his break bar was broken, he was no longer invulnerable.

No idea if that would work for you, or if it was just a glitch in our instances.

But, the cap has been there since the inception of Dailies; I’m not sure what the motivation was back then, or if it is the same as what seems to be the motivation now.

I have to say, I don’t log in as religiously as I used to once I hit the Daily AP cap. I still log in often, but I’ve lost the motivation I used to have, or maybe it’s that it just doesn’t bother me as much to miss a day.

Now, I’ve pretty much given up on Achievement rewards. Sigh.

I’ve noticed the ‘Mini’ tonic and ‘Watchwork Knight’ endless/everlasting tonics wear off, as well, without being downed or changing maps or anything. I thought, though perhaps I was wrong, they were everlasting (in a map).

Edit: I see the Wiki still states ‘Watchwork Knight’ tonic lasts 15 minutes, though I thought it was changed. Maybe it does only last 15 minutes, but no such statement on the ‘Mini’ one.

The point is…if they didn’t do it for Gift of Battle, they likely won’t do it for Ascended Armor vendors.

For newer players, it might seem spoiler-ish, or just not make sense to have Caudecus be a traitor at first meeting.

I would guess there would be threads about CM and how the story doesn’t make sense there, or something.

Try another PUG. Now is the time, when lots of players want/need that instance. It’s really not that difficult; even if you end up waiting for the others up in the ‘jail’. Lol.

I doubt the Devs will change it, or revert it for a period of time.

But, if they do, they would need to revert the Gift of Battle acquisition, as well, just to be fair.

Saying you would have no problem not completing this content should apply to the Heart of Thorns content, as well. Jus’ sayin’.

That said; I hadn’t finished the last instance either, though I had tried several times, both alone and with a Guildie.

When the latest Current Event came out, I used the LFG, joined a party, and told them I had never finished it. We wiped once after the gliding part; re-did it and succeeded.

I suggest you try the LFG. I’m not much of one for PUGging, but it was painless and pretty quick.

Wouldn’t a ‘Chest of Central Tyria weapon’ have Core Tyria stats? What stats do the ‘Chests of Heart of Thorns weapon’ have?

I think it’s just a matter of taste. Some feel some of the Core Legendary Weapons are a bit of a joke, and prefer the newer Legendaries. Nevermore seems quite popular, for one.

I think the Devs should release a myriad of different kinds of designs, so that there may be something for everyone.

Did you either purchase the Episode, or log into the game while it was active a year and a half ago?

Not counting all the difficult Jumping Puzzles, of which I’ve not done most, there is a Vista in Timberline Falls that gave me much heartache at first. It sits over a river on a mountain face…I don’t remember the name of the area.

Aren’t they made by Chronomancers? Looks like a bug….?

Really? ArenaNet controls my ISP which contracts with the Tier 3 providers? I was unaware ArenaNet told ISPs who to contract with. Interesting.

It won’t show up on the UI until one activates the Stabilizer. Once activated, it becomes the ‘Stabilize the Rift’ event.
