Because if an ele is leveling by Heart quests, they only have to round up enemies once in a while, drop a LH, cleave the trash mobs, then pick up the second LH and move on? As opposed to the simplistic version of the guard’s auto attack rotation, ele don’t even need to use all the skills to deal damage and survive. If his LH is not up yet, staff auto plus Sandstorm is mighty fine. Even Scepter auto wouldn’t be a terrible choice at all.

Are we talking about dps rankings or dps/effort rankings?

Ele only needs to spam Lightning Hammer auto and nothing else.

I was hoping that someone in here may have Gift of Weather unlocked and can verify the recipe for me. (Please don’t buy and use one just because I’m asking).

What I want to verify is that it uses 250 Hardened Leather Sections instead of 250 Cured Hardened Leather Squares. Currently the wiki and gw2Legends both claim sections, but every other Gift recipe that uses hardened leather uses the squares.

If you have it unlocked and are willing, please provide a screenshot of the recipe (because anyone can say yes or no)

are all decent generic combos.

Force+ Night is still great all around in Dungeons.
Bloodlust + Speed is what I have for Silverwaste and open world farming.

I would advise you holding off on your precision infusion purchase. Firstly, they are expensive for what they’re worth and secondly, there are datamined info about +6 and higher stats infusion in the future expansion.

Compared the damage, won’t it be apparently different?

RNG is really really bad in this game. It’s equally bad to saying Blind is also useful on boss. Let’s spam Sand Storm and Black Powder on him to ensure a higher chance to blind (100% damage reduction).

Edit: I did not make up this argument. My guildie actually spent a considerable amount of time to explain his logic to me.

It took me 2 years to make my first legendary. I was too occupied in exploring the game and spent tons of gold in the process that could have gone otherwise to my legendary goal. By then I get better at this game, knowing how to farm and what to do to maximize gold per hour income. Since the first one, every time I have some spare gold, I make the next legendary. For one year and a half I have made 8 legendary weapons in total; 5mMs for myself, 1 for a good friend and 2 to sell. I’m in the process of making the 6th one due to the lack of interest in the end game. From my experience, it’s a bit too soon for new players to be wary about making legendary. If it’s your end goal then you will see it sooner than you think by steadily working towards the goal.

I spent all my liquid assest just to win over deSade in terms of fashion.

Yes it is. Atoi is looking for them around. The reason is they are not grouped in any specific folders but scattered in the files as it was recycled from the old dungeon.

He’s named as The Mastermind in the scripted game files. His decriptions “Creates Mines . Causes Bleeding” match with the actual model in the game.

Note that some of the mobs don’t have the same name as shown in the game. Another example is the Legendary Imbued Shaman. However, all the bosses have descriptions under their names and we can match them to figure out which is which.

I wouldn’t consider it a “higher” tier tournament. It is basically just showing, that you can cripple yourself and still be successful.

Anyway, the thief there was not, what most people consider a venom share thief since he just used ‘Devourer Venom’ and ‘Basilisk Venom’ and switched from the standard meta build four points from Trickery to Shadow Arts.

So he is basically trading boon steal+daze+reduced steal CD for the shared immobilize venom…. if you ask any top thief, this is a really bad trade.

May I ask who are the top tier thieves that you mention?

A friend of mine brought it up that the Scythe has a 300 attack range.

Besides the fact that thief venoms have no damage except some torment they face other issues as well. Namely the fact that if the target survives the initial burst they can’t pressure further and can’t defend themselves either. Also in this current meta any condi they might land gets instantly cleansed.

That fight happened before Sassy, Garm and Marvin were banned though. I’m sure they are not the B-tier players you are talking about. Nonetheless, I K is the only effective venom share thief as top tier level.

It’s all about rotation and assisting your DPS teammates, then snowballing from one team fight to another. It’s not a build for 1v1 by any means. If the venom share thief cannot help finish the target, it most likely results to his death anyways.
