Several of those thousands who play WvW and PvE still use gsword to poke at their enemies.

Wurmslayer’s Ascended Armor is an ascended quality armor dropped by Great Jungle Wurm boss. However, it cannot be put in the Forge to use the recipe to change stats. I believe it is not intended as Tequatl’s Hoard weapons do not have this issue. I hope someone can look into this problem. Thank you for your attention.

Did anyone else noticed if the superior sigil of strength lost its internal cooldown? I’m playing my necro with dagger+warhorn and life siphon and he is getting 18 stacks of might almost instantly when i fight a bunch of mobs.

Edit: i took a print. Notice that i didnt use DS or any skill that gives might and i’m playing solo the personal story instance, and still i managed to get 12 stacks of might.

Edit 2: I got 19 stacks of might this time just from the sigil of strength.

Look at siphoned power in spite. It can potentially stack up to 20 stacks of might. I was getting 16 consistently.

I tried necro in fractal 20-30 last night. Got through some of the most reflect-heavy shards (Mai Trin /salute) just fine. I’ve been using triple wells for eh – life siphon – :’> and Plague for trash mob cruising.

Which utilities do you normally take?

Now thinking back, I may have Glyph of elemental power at that time (activated in Fire, traited for Quick Glyph). The number that I saw peaks at about 1.8k and I was sure about it since I couldn’t believe myself.

My version for roaming SW against trashes and bosses is different from you. I’m surprised that you didn’t take the nade trait and Incendiary Power. Also, the new Kit refinement gives u a skill which damage for 2k/4.5k (depending on sinister or zerker) when swapping to nades. They give a nice little addition to the burst damage.

I’ve got about 12-16 might and 2k bleed and burn tick with this setup.

Take down round seems pretty kittenty but kit refinement seems equally kittenty, only problem with kit refinement is at lupi you might have to end up wasting the proc on superspeed or some other dumb kitten. In groups kit refinement is most likely better than takedown round though

Make sense. I guess it depends on what we want steady dps vs burst. I take throw mine for burst and vuln, and e-gun for steady dps? The new med kit is really cool, u lose one blast but the might from heal proc fast and u have a bit of personal fury before throw mine.

Meanwhile, meteor shower is hitting for 11k per tick (and close to 2k burn per tick- I have no clue) in a casual pug fractal. I really expect a nerf soon.

Take Adrenal Implants if you need the stamina. Rampager’s might also be better but idk, have both sets ascended incase somebody wants to do actual maths and not just comparing lupi times.

Because we’re now able to spec fully in Shadow’s Art and get benefit from both damage and stealth.

Tell them, instead of venting frustration on the forum? Chances are, those group aren’t experienced enough to pull a perfect 8 sec kill so they aim for a painless and smooth kill? The way you word it, it’s like “ele stop doing deep freeze if you don’t trait for Tempest Defense, you are crippling your dps…”

Thieves has vertical Blink and affordable defiant management. There are quite a few trap/transport/etc that vertical blink becomes extremely handy and it makes the whole process effortlessly smooth. I also believe that a good group benefits more from a thief than an engi. If I notice that my group has a good supply of ice bows, I would bring my thief, not my engi. On the other hand, if it’s a kite-and-survive game, I would bring my engi, not my thief.

Earth line is entirely made for Readymade. I was actually laughing out loud when I tried a few builds with earth line. Staff ele with EWA will be extremely annoyingly tanky.

Either the guild has to save gold and go gold —> gems to get decoration (something I doubt ANet wants to encourage), or someone has to shell out real money for their guild to get a new shiney. Neither seems terribly practical to me.

Did a p2 in pug without thieves and boys, I had to duo with another warrior in the group to unlock the waypoint every single time, including Lupicus… The skip to Brie was also a mess.

People asked for Zerk in fractals. I joined with my ranger and immediately got asked “What your most played class?”. Got kicked at the end after disconnecting a few times :>

When I joined a fractal pug group with my ranger, I was immediately welcomed with a question: “What your most played class?” and they warned me to “melee”. Then they proceeded to pull Mossman to underwater… zzz… The rest of the fractals, I had to finish everything whenever they dropped down, even though the guard and ele camped range all the time. In the end, they just had to kick me before I got the final chest at Jade Maw when I had the worst lag and couldn’t help but disconnecting a few times.

Does that mean PvE Ele will now run around with Elemental Attunement? That’s really crazy. Now you can spec for damage and provide AoE Protection.

I think Sandy did this solo several months ago. I was there when he was experimenting with the portal trick, but unless I remember incorrectly, he didn’t succeed with it. The only reliable way that I know of is to do the defense event.

I’m not sure if Force and Night are even worth it at levels below 60. If you have no trouble surviving at all, go with both Bloodlust and Perception for stat gain and Battle/Strength for Might.

It’s Sunday for Fashion Ideas!

So I asked everyone’s opinions about my warriors, but then I decided to go with the third piece. It’s Braham’s leggings! It’s… awkward, bulky and doesn’t seem to fit nicely on the female body. But hear me out, I have my reason to like it!!! (Don’t condemn me yet)

As you see, the front look is… err… bulky, but I’m willing to let it pass because her top is already quite sexy and drawing attention. The back is, my oh my, so good I dig it. 1, The fur accentuates her waist. 2, The slit on the skirt looks savage and suggests her characters of a warrior who has been through many brutal fights. 3, The back of the boots has some hints of color. 4, This armor looks so good with my hammer Magmaton. The leggings are nice, but it doesn’t exude the raw strength of muscle required to smash bodies with a hammer. In conclusion, this is my warrior’s frontline set. In WvW, I hardly have the time for selfie, but mostly watch her back when she does action so I pick something the most exciting to look at. My bro said it’s Mad Max-ish with a touch of Viking barbarian. Pass! Pass! Pass! XD

This week, my ranger is undergoing a major makeover (kit included :‘<). This is her initial concept that I’m only about 90% happy. I borrowed the translucent quality of the Icy Diadem on a purple Sylvarie skin, faked it with the shoulder piece, then used the blue Zodiac Armor to constitute an image of a hybrid sylvari who has a blue leyline energy running through her veins. There are a LOT of distracting details in this look that I hope to pull them together by Force of Will a magical dye job while somehow keeping the ethereal spirit of the sylvari. Drives me nut!!!

I just realize it’s too meta. So, nope, not gonna have those leggings anymore

Left: The Carapace pants with a 4-dye channel is so lovely that I can hardly resist anymore. My war’s look has been overly simplified. While I still want to keep that aesthetic, I’d love to have something over the top and exposes more of her fine tan in this summer. The proportion seems better.

Right: I have been a loyal follower of the Aetherblade pants for A… YEAR. I never forget the comfort of my spandex, but it has been that long (gosh, hope there is no tear). Is it time for me to part it? The legs are the best selling point

So I got told by this guy that if I don’t range the Ice Elemental boss in Dredge fractal, I’m basically doing no damage. Yup, meleeing that boss is hard and the damage is trivial after all. To prove his point that without range weapon, warrior is useless, he even pushed the Molten Firestorm off the Arena. Um, lol, obnoxious tryhard pugs.

And deSade, I’m just finishing my Event season at work (read work full 40 hour work week then do another 30 hours on the weekends), or well I finished but everyone in the office is at a conference so I’ve been having to do my job and their jobs the best I can which means long frustrating days. But, I’ve been thinking picking up a evening/night shift somewhere would likely be better than coming home and drinking whiskey while I slowly doze off watching a movie just to wake back up at midnight and hate myself because I can’t fall back asleep which means I’ll be dead at work the next day.

You need to time the skill relative to how far you are away from her, it’s all a matter of learning the timing. Here’s a rough list of skills you can use to avoid it on thief descending in how reliable and easy they are to use:
