Though it isn’t the “challenging content” feature discussed in our announcement – I will add we want our open world content experience to be more challenging as well just in general. Though the AI was better in our CBT experience – we think we still have a lot of work to do to get our creatures and encounters even at the start of Verdant Brink up to where we want them to be. Our game has great combat, our creatures and encounters should challenge and require you to use that combat system.

Well, cele ele in sPvP has healing power and a large part of its sustain also comes from traits and not just the signet. Take 62600 signet build as an example, I find myself activating the signet heal a lot more frequently than in the case of d/d cele for sustain.

Mossman is quite fun. As far as I know, this encounter provides many different tactics as well. (Not counting the underwater glitch, but again it proves that this encounter is challenging).

Daydreamer’s “outfit” – a second outfit for my mesmer. I already bought the Shield skin and placed an order on the Enameled Legacy dye. I’m on the fence for the greatsword, sword and pistol. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA…..

The total animation for lightning whip is 0.95 not 0.75
60/0.95*202=12,758 hp/min

Air auto is actually strong against 2 or 3 enemies at the same time. The bouncing attack has some good dps. I actually prefer staff more recently in fractals for its excellent utilities and crowd control. For example, it’s very courageous to Burning Speed straight into a group of Ascalon Vets at level 50 and pull out a perfect rotation. But staff feels very natural there.

That’s why i love mace. For some reasons, pugs and guildies tend to close in on me when I use mace more than I use scepter. Sword is good too. But mace gives a vibe of “I will heal you!” And people stack tight and nicely.

Imagine you are with 4x Dub who are there to troll-tanking damage. You need all the help in the world to keep them up, or simply go Yolo mode to solo Mai Trin. I usually opt gor the first choice, due to whiny guildies, though energy sigil isn’t really necessary. Unless to triple dodge the cannon.

What I use when I play with my guild is using soldier runes and mace/focus +/shield. It helps them face tank a bit longer.

LH works without scepter too :p

Or OP can use lightning hammer while kiting around the pillar.

Well the question for this would be if the thief ever separated from the ele which has a POV to do a skip of some kind. The mesmer which is separated from the group does have a POV uploaded.

They did acknowledge that it’s a bug in the bug sub forum. They also ask us to wait patiently because it’s not the first in their QA’s priority list. When it gets fixed, they will let us know. Just follow the official thread, instead of QQ-ing here.

Edit: I think stacking fury is a fair trade for having the leisure to play staff while the PS war pumps off the might. More often than not, pugs are ignorant to the importance of fury. If I played PS war and notice the lack of fury, I usually bring signet of rage instead of war banner.

Persisting Flames is a trait that give you longer fire field duration and give you might when you blast them.

If you were using a staff you can’t really give 2min. You have only 3 blast at max so you can give 30sec each approx 30sec. In theory you can keep perma fury, in practice it will almost perma fury.

If you were using S/X then you have between 5 and 6 blast so you can give around a min of fury each approx 30sec.

Pre-stacking might before the fight will allow to stack up to 2 minutes of fury.
