the bf just got Witcher 3 for me in canada, flying over to play the g- ah.. see him.

Its easier with a good team surrounding you too. Especially a guardian running the correct build and using virts and utils at the right time. A rareity in pugs. good for learning in a way though.

Try not to compromise with things like endure pain. It just makes it harder for u to adapt in the long run IMO.

I like my ranger. But if we want to talk about most overpowered in dungeons I am assuming the most optimum setup with classes and theres no room for ranger why did they make it so u have to choose quick draw OR the 10% sword thing for the new traits why T_T

I’m bored. Only thing that keeps me playing this game is friends, quality of combat and nice graphics, plus the fact there’s not much else that interests me.

The problem as I see it is that this games target audience is a casual player base. Nothing wrong with that but if they add hard content the main player base will be upset. Basically there’s not much point going hardcore with this game you will feel the burn out fast.

As a business they are catering to what the most people want as well as thinking about how to squeeze the most money out of their game. So far that has meant gem shop items and lackluster living story being the main focus. Their esports PvP is a really strange and pointless endeavour IMO but good luck to them making it big time on that.

End of the day. People make up anet. These people probably care about their game. But anet and ncsoft are companies and companies exist to make money.

See u just need to farm ap. Then you can roll with the big boys and their sceptre shield AH guardians. Simple really.

Just wanted to point out that when I pug arah I see PHIW’s edging lupi into a wall for the one shot with WoR because they lack the knowledge to do the other parts of the fight or are possibly really lazy. Also strangely enough, I have seen PHIW’ers stacking in corners that are no longer the best idea since FGS got the nerf. I don’t quite understand it but I guess it’s just people stuck in a mould, even PHIW’s are susceptible to that.

Btw I’m happy to map even though I hate mapping to get my legendary. Why? Because it’s supposed to appeal to multiple aspects of the game.. To show that you put in effort. Also there’s SW only loot isnt there? like that beta portal and the bee thing that gives the cool aura. I’d like those but I don’t like doing SW.. I don’t really mind though.

I’m over it. I’ve seen too many PR stunts in dungeon forums to ever trick myself into thinking there’s going to be any serious attention to dungeons. Actions speak loudest and there’s no action.

I’ll just be happy watching people figure out way to make the same boring content just that little less time consuming with new builds and setups in the expansion. That and whatever ‘raids’ will be, not going to be too fixated on that till there’s more info though. That’s all I am hopeful for atm.

(For those that don’t know, they’re making a world that will be molded by the players, where not only will your decisions lead to cities and towns being created that are specific to your server but even land formations are going to break away and be shaped by the players. NPCs are coded specifically to either be in more populated areas or not, IE orcs will spawn where people have been the least, not in a specific spot for people to camp and kill. Pretty huge undertaking). Knowing some of the people working on it though, if it’s possible, they’ll do it.

I know someone who had alpha testing or whatever, he seemed very happy with it for a time and then he stopped talking about it. I don’t know what that means.

Dungeons haven’t changed much, how people run them has a little, we’ve gone from FGS to Icebow. heh. There’s good money to be had in them still, and you can get your tokens exchanged to the gear you want fairly quick and easy.

If you want a really easy way to get berserker just do some CoF (Cathedral of Flames) and CoE (Crucible of Eternity) and use those tokens for your gear. They also pay well so you can use the money for runes. That will get you an easy set to start with and do dungeons with to build up money to buy runes/sigils, make ascended and buy all the other pretty things in this game.

Well, I will say, if I were to be sent 10% pots when I was using 6% pots, it’s not because I don’t see the benefit, but because if I’m using 6% pots it’s because I didn’t feel it was worth my own money to use 10% pots, and I sure as hell wouldn’t see fit to spend other people’s money on 10% pots. I’d appreciate the offer, but If I’m not willing to spend my own money I wouldn’t want someone else to spend theirs for me for sure. Either way I hate low level dungeons so boring without real speed run tactics (so no pugs).

They gotta understand, these things cost me nothing haha. They’re 1 token each chump change for a filthy elitist like me. I just like giving out stuff, most of em are usually happy about it so surprising when it’s sent back XD

I can only agree about the part that food isn’t a thing to call people out in AC. Much less talking about being more efficient in a path where 80% of the time your food don’t work and don’t make a difference the rest of the time. The speaking tone could be improved, too

You missed the part where the food was sent for free and he still didn’t want it, that’s what the point was lol. It was funny to me, same as the other day when I sent a guy 10% CM pots and he sent it back and used his 6% or whatever they were ones.
But somehow it became about power food for power capped dungeon, which it wasn’t, then it was about burrows because whole dungeon is just burrows >_> Grasping at straws is a fine art.

Also yeh your tone could be improved then you wouldn’t get so many deleted posts.

I dont see how you get nothing? You dont know for sure. The new f1 looks like it could be good for spammable damage. Some of the traps could actually be good. And maybe there will be some nice new utility aswell. You dont have enough info to make such an assumption yet.

In fact all the virtue upgrades are pretty nice (remember all the virtue traits should work with them still). They might not be worth the tradeoffs in most situations though.
