The deaths get pretty comical later on, worth watching for the comedic value if anything.

Yeah it was kind of annoying at the start with how stupid all the characters were. But then the deaths redeemed it to a certain extent. I kind of enjoyed the plot and idea behind it. It just got a bit too stupid at times.

The only reason why you can run full zerker is because everyone skips everything and abuses high ground and stealth to take off agro from mobs.

Because of this, dungeons are the worst part of the game.

You can kill the trash in zerker. You can also skip without stealth in zerker. You’re missing an important piece of the puzzle here sherlock.

Uhm, the current phase is my fav. Skid Row album with a few hints of Sex Pistols, since I’m studying and exploring punk. I was missing that in my music list. They keep calling me punk here, punk there, may aswell start educating myself!
The phase before that had Blue Oyster Cult in it, and the one before that was… uh… a bunch of metal bands all together. A bite here, a sip there… not that anyone would ever want to bite Ozzy … ewwww!
I caught myself listening to Bach the other day (not the singer, the composer)… too dramatic to grind SW.
I also have to avoid most symphonic/melodic/Arch Enemy because I get lost staring at the pretty singers and die ingame.
Opera is my main choice when I want music music, when I’m in music mood, but it’s not fit to be played on, imho.

Itll probably be a grindy fun system where you are forced encouraged to do open world pve events in order to get enough experience on your class to be able to do fractals above 50! comes along with a reset and a reduction on fractal skin drops!

I certainly can’t speak for them, but they used to be a lot more open about this kind of thing years back. Then players started taking everything they said literally and writing a ton of MMO articles about how they break promises, which ANet understandably would like to avoid. It’s those players who cried havoc for so long we really have to blame about how shy ANet developers are. None of them want to risk their job over something as simple as confirming/denying whether something is a bug, so they err on the side of caution and simply don’t tell anyone anything unless they’re explicitly told to.

It’s a crying shame, really, but I personally don’t blame them for it. What if they confirmed this was a bug and then later before they fixed it decided they wanted to keep it as-is? A lot of players would raise a lot of undue hell over that.

Sure, going back on what they said will cause backlash (as will any action they do, such is the nature of this business), but reasonable people would be understanding if they would share their rational for changing their mind. IMO, it’s much worse for a company to keep customers in the dark and actively dodge questions about significant changes to their product. Such behavior is sketchy, and doesn’t inspire much confidence on the consumer end.

Choosing to deny basic support and communication to their users out of fear that a few loud individuals won’t be able to understand that “kitten Happens”…this is not a healthy business practice in my mind.

But eh, I’ve tried enough to get them to see how damaging this is to their reputation and the health of the game. One thing is for certain: they want to keep things this way.

We’re a minority that they wouldn’t miss Dlonie. That’s how business works T_T

And on one hand there’s no reason to believe that dungeon people are part 2, but then again DnT exists.

Edit: It’s back to the same old thing. More from other MMOs than from GW2 per se, people (probably unfairly) connote a very negative experience and POV with the dungeon/progress crowd. It’s not uncalledfor, especially in vertical progression games.

And there I was trying to make helpful videos, handing out potions and food to ‘casuals’ in pugs and helping them find the right builds. All for nought I suppose >_>

I’d say I’m the actual authority on build diversity as I am an amazing pvper and everyone knows that real skilled play is involved there and trumps all other game modes.

Cleric’s is not a good choice unless you just want to be lazy and passive.

EDIT: My trait setup currently is 0/0/6/6/2 but sometimes I spec 0/0/6/4/4 for the trait in the last line that makes your f2 virtue cleanse conditions.

If you want to fit in with the zerk meta in dungeons, that’s not where you want to put your traits.

With the popularity of Berserker’s in PVE, it seems smart to have an anchor/healer/support that can keep Berserker players alive when they make mistakes.

If you’re after playing how you want with like minded people, then sure. but it’s not helping with people speedclearing so I would advise against joining those parties unless you want to run zerk with 4/5/0/0/5. There’s plenty of support in that build and in a zerk party it will be alot more useful.

By all means if you can find 4 other people who will happily endure clerics with an AH build go for it, but yeh, you cant take that build into a zerk team and expect people to be happy about it.

- Don’t regret your knight’s set, its a good stepping stone on the way up to berserker and contributing the most to your party. Now all you need to do is focus on changing up traits and understanding where to use what utilities and weapons to truely support your team. If you’re not interested in that, you can go ahead and play how you want, just make sure it’s not intruding on people who are trying to be efficient.

Yeh if you try to sell an exploited path the friendly neighbourhood Chris Clearly might serve you up some justice.
