Bags from EotM came in many levels… From the tiny bags that drop T1 crafting materials, to the Heavy bags that contain T6 ones.

Uplevels are a good source of low level crafting material (principally cloth which you can’t simple gather), so setting a Superior AC and getting some bags can be very profitable and give you materials that K-Training will not (Champion bags are tied to your character level).

But ofc, I don’t defend for extended periods of time. Mostly because I usually do it alone, or because the enemy zerg simply gave up… It’s not like I keep calling the zerg to come back and wipe the enemy force (again because people will mostly just give up and I no longer will be able to farm).

Why don’t you do it on regular WvW then where people won’t complain about it? Usually we just set siege on EotM for some bag farm… If you want to make a serious defense you should go to a BL or EBG. I’m sure your server will appreciate as not everyone is fond of defending…

When I made it to level 60 early this year with my first character, my server was in last place in NA, and I had wvw map completion within the next month. Yes, it does take some persistence, but it is entirely doable. I don’t really see your complaint as being viable, especially when the only real reward is a cosmetic one.

I wouldn’t call EB a very balanced map… But It doesn’t have kodan hammer trains and zerg of moving siege (devourers) at least.

I’m from the only server in both EU/NA that placed LAST on BOTH SEASONS on the BRONZE LEAGUE, also we been on last place for 37 weeks (Highest on NA), only being beaten by Vabbi that have 62 weeks as dead last, which means that technically my server is much worse than yours. (Underworld only placed last 18 times)

Second, you are here complaining about how you will never get the PoI/Vistas you need because your server is weak on WvW but also you refuse to grind your way out for these, even tho you’re clearly not a WvW player (You wouldn’t be crying about it if you were). So you rather wait for of either Anet changing how the system work or that your server miraclous get transfers instead of grinding for a few days and transfer out to get these? You don’t even have a reason to transfer back since you’re not a WvW player! I don’t understand… Maybe you don’t want these as bad as you describe.

Lastly, your server is currently winning your matchup. So I highly doubt Underworld don’t have people 24/7 like you say. Now if you only play in a small time window, and in this window your server population sucks, then it’s a totally different story than the one you’re telling us.

Also, despite what people say, Warriors are terrible roamers. They have great mobility, high DPS, etc. etc. but in all my time roaming I haven’t come across more than a handfull of Warriors that were actually good at what they were doing. 95% of them will just run when they get to 50% health and it’s not hard to put them in that position. So sure they have a lot of great utility and are very capable roamers, but any profession is a good roamer in the right hands. Warrior is not an ideal roamer unless you’re good with it. Otherwise, I’d say don’t bother.

Well, there is no effort in running EotM karma train (which award much more wxp than regular wvw mind you), so I don’t mind that there isn’t some big guaranteed thing to come out of these wvw ranks. I’m 1407 and I assure you the only useful item I got from wvw rank up was a rabid ascended ring. All the rest was either salvaged (Rares that worth less than 50s and exotics that worth less than 3g) or sold.

Eh, we don’t really have much people on during afternoon… After TAL and GN logs, it become another complete wasteland until EST primetime. We could use a day crew too… Maybe some euro dudes, eh?

Warrior? Easy…

1 – Pick a weapon that does AoE damage (so no kittening rifle)
2 – Get triple stances (Endure Pain, Balanced Stance, Berserker Stance)
3 – Aggro all the guards and get out of the line of sight of scouts (So they will come running to you).
4 – When the supervisor and the melee guard get near pop Balanced Stance, When the scouts get near, pop Berserker stance, pop Endure Pain if you’re taking too much damage.
5 – AoE the hell out of it…
6 – Profit.

With my Hambow warrior I can kill all camp guards before the swords come up (30s after I touch a guard), altho Greatsword and Axe also do some good AoE damage. (Not sure if sword would be good unless you’re condi build)

Upgraded camps with extra guards are harder to solo and you won’t be able to use this same strategy.

I think he meant GS/Sword+Sword… That make bleed and torment two predominant condis with the option of Nike away with Sword leap plus GS whirlwind and rush.

I’m so tired of losing to JQ and BG in tier one, but TC just doesn’t have the numbers to compete with them anymore. One week we lost our ebg keep almost every night. This isn’t a QQ we need more players post, just a “I’m tired of losing every week post.” Like seriously, if JQ knew how little players we had on during US afternoons and stuff, they could take our keep with like only 20 players. JQ is definitely the elephant in the room.

When the people on lower tiers complain about losing every single week due lack of population, the people from T1 tell us to transfer out.

Its because the gap of rating between you and Arborstone is 110 rating, and Between you and Jade Sea is 78. The highest chances go for the servers with the closest ratings and Arborstone isn’t close to you, even if their ranking is.

Now all on seriosuness, you should take a look at the Thief forum for builds. Thieves aren’t good for zerging, but they are argueable the best class for roaming due being able to stealth away from engagements and have a good mobility with all the shadowsteps and infiltration arrow,

JQ is known for having a overwhelming SEA coverage over the other two… So if you can get to log on during SEA primetime, you’re likely to be able to get the POI’s and vistas you need easily… JQ was ticking 500+ 2 hours ago.

We’ve been getting some T7 matchups last weeks and been holding relatively well. Glicko is giving us rating, it was expecting us to perform worse. But ofc, there is always space for more bodies!

If you’re really not interested in large zerg fights you should consider Eredon Terrace, Anvil Rock or Ehmry Bay… T6 is already getting a bit zergy with NSP and DH (which can field a lot of people during prime time) and in T7 we have SF (The official NA blob of bronze) and SoR (which seen to be just a blobby as the T6 servers).

I don’t know if Kaineng still have no NA presence like it was in the last weeks, but it might be a interesting option aswell.

If there is no queue, there is no problem.

I don’t know what you talking about… Everyone seens to praise the SoS/Mag/FA trio as the best place to be in all tiers… I personally like my backwater server tho.

Nothing significative, except that everyone in NA is now stacking on T2.

I don’t see any difference in recruiting on the megaservers than it was recruiting from PvE maps… Except that now you need to say which server your guild are.

I see all of your points, but whenever I hop on and join a borderland and look for a commander or somewhere to go and there isn’t one (on more than one borderland), its discouraging to a lot of people. So, I think people tend to leave wvw and do something else when that happens because they assume they’re isn’t much action or don’t know where to go. On Mag we have great commanders who lead pugs and people will hop on mumble to follow them, and it is organized. But when they’re isnt a commander like that, many large guilds will just do there own thing, which often times doesn’t really help the server win. Like I said, I get why guilds turn off commander tags to do there own thing, but when numbers can be a difference maker in a battle (which on mag it can definitely be because we’re one of the lower populated higher tier servers, I believe that’s still the case), a tag can be helpful. And most people aren’t rally bait if they know what they’re doing.

Most people on Maguuma only care about their guild groups getting fights… They don’t care if the server is winning or losing as long they are getting what they want. They only go for ppt when they need to secure their position on T2.

And since it’s about guild groups looking for fights, everyone on the above posts already explained why they don’t run a tag. Carrying a possible rallybait can be the difference between winning or losing a fight. Sound a bit elitist yeh, but that’s the way things are…

I never heard of players bugging dolyaks before…

As fas as I know, the dolyaks bug by themselves when they don’t have a full destination route to make. If you don’t have Stonesmist for exemple, the dolyaks will run back to the camp upon reaching the outer towers… However, sometimes the dolyak model won’t do the running animation and will be far behind of where the dolyak actually is.

You don’t need to cap things to get the PoIs or vistas. If you don’t need the vistas all you need to do is bust into the keep, which, while difficult, isn’t something that unusual.

That remind me when I followed the blue team (I was on red) inside Jerrifer’s just to get the vista while they capped the tower. Was funny…

I really doubt these stories are true… The days of lower populatated servers oposing the big blobbers only happened during the first months of the game.

Everyone knows population+coverage>skill+organization when you’re talking about the score based purely on ppt. So I’m pretty sure that SoR was just as big as the other two on T1 or they would never have won a match on it.

Because this is how most of us did ours, until servers started recruiting for more coverage, transfer fees/cooldowns were implemented, and ratings became more stable.

Cattlepult bugged in Diessa? 99.9% world complete? Just keep transferring servers until you find one that isn’t!

I fought for all my other 100%. I even bought a tag, rallied the people and razed that stupid green keep during NA primetime.

I find funny that with so many people that need the same thing (principally on the servers that are perpetually the same color), they don’t group up and atempt to do it. Instead they prefer to come here and cry about how they think it is unfair that they can’t get. Maybe if the PvE’rs weren’t so scared of fighting people for their completion, they would already have done it.

TL;DR – Stop crying, band with other players that also need it and make your atempt. Stop asking for things to be handed to you.
