The best place to transfer always will depend on what the person is looking for. Large scale, organized groups and high off-hours activity are better on top tiers, while lower scale, unorganized blobs and low coverage hours are better on lower tiers.
needs commander/wanderer mix. Full minstrel is like druid lvl of tryhard.
The Minstrel’s armor was the only thing i liked about the build tbh. That gear + distortion/quickness share traits and maybe mantra heal.
Minstrel armor means you’ll have to completely relly on other people to deal damage for you. Honestly I find this kind of gameplay more boring than WvW itself but some people have strange tastes.
But when I’m running “full tryhard boonshare” I problably would rather run somenthing like this. I could problably change the sigils, but I’m too cheap for that and I hardly use this build unless I am extremely bored and/or decide to tag up. On small scale I run a bit more aggressive setup with less utility skills in favor of personal protection.
Once a week long match is unbalanced its time to quit until next reset…sadly.
Maybe it’s time to give up the week-long match model… Skirmishes were a good way to give focus to a certain time frame, but the overall score still tied to a match that is too long.
Shorter matchups would make imbalance a bit more “bearable” since we wouldn’t have to wait 7 days when we roll a entirely loopsided one.
Of course it does… If the majority disaprove it, you can consider it a failure. The question is: Was it the majority that didn’t like it? Because we all know how it ended when they asked the majority if DBL should be discontinuated.
Stop making CD a host server, last merging we didn’t win a single week out of the 9 weeks we were merged, and most those weeks we had a max of 5 first place skirmish victories throughout an entire week. Stop. Everyone left CD when you guys made it a 4server merge and stuck us in t4 for 5/6 weeks with no way to get out until you manually adjusted our glicko.
CD took DH place as host server… Either you die as bad as Darkhaven, or you’ll remain host.
If you EVER want to fix WvW, make it one server against one server.
Period.
Yeah, put back a bunch of dead servers by themselves where new players will have a kitten poor experience and never come back to WvW because it will be more boring than it is now. Great idea!
Still, I’ve been using it a lot lately and although it has no place for support/in the meta in zergs, it’s incredible for tagging and bagging. I just mash Flamethrower #1 and haul in bags by the hundreds.
You can run HGH FT and drop potions for boons in your allies to not feel you’re selfish for not helping your group. Not a high end build and far from being optimal, but I used to run somenthing similar back on vanilla and it worked nice.
As long WvW is imbalanced, you cannot reward the winner. So scrap your gem rewarding idea.
Now I don’t think testing 1up1down is bad, altho I belive we would just see the same matches every other week. I wouldn’t mind the test tho, just as I didn’t mind 2-1-1.
The only server I dread getting linked to is DH because they are non-existent at night.
Just start winning and they will all show up… NSPPT did it and it took them all the way to T2 in the past link. We don’t call it FairweatherHaven for nothing.
One way to maintain friendship and to avoid fighting against each other is transferring to the same server,
hopefully we can witness population balancing at work.
I don’t understand these people who “hate to fight their friends”… I’m always up to punch my buddies because I know they will fight to death and not just flee on sight of danger like 90% of the players in this game do.
I just came here to say I disagree with this idea before some Anet representative comes to say “We got support for point decay system so we’re going to implement it”.
Considering that the latest changes to the scoring was increasing the PPT by holding objectives, I hardly belive they would take up an idea that go against that.
You know your guild could always move down to join them on one of the open servers.
That’s kind of the whole point in lowering the pop cap, to spread the population out…

I don’t know what kind bad mesmer would fear a MM necro, unless you running like full dire or somenthing (which in that case would mean more fear of conditions themselves than minions).
Isn’t it just a sure way to drive players from the game entirely?
Particularly if there’s some sort of indicator to say someone has a bounty on them, that sounds like a recipe to make the game very unfun for anyone who’s caught the attention of someone with gold.
Technically once the bounty is claimed there is no reason for it still be up. It would be pretty silly if someone would have to leave because people are “farming” the bounty on his head.
Honestly, I don’t think siege is all that powerful as you people put. Sieges are limited to the area they are placed and if placed in open field it just make it easy for you to bomb it.
Generally it is inferior to Gravity or Mass Invis.

Honestly the only times I ever get Moa’ed is when I’m being ganked 1v5 out of stealth. But, let’s be honest, they never needed that in the first place…
Like the other dude said, it’s a skill to just kitten off other players. And if people are getting upset about it, I guess it’s doing it’s job well.
Presumably Anet has the actual data regarding map use. If they see the alpines getting way more play, then I can’t imagine they’ll just let that sit without doing something about it (even if that’s just another poll to measure what people think).
Until then, just use a different map. I’ve never felt “forced” to use it, so don’t.

Transformations (Just like Lichform) end Necromancer minions because you lose the skills they are tied to. Jagged Horrors remain because they are tied to a trait and not to a skill. That’s the explanation behind it.
Not sharing places but you can avoid being marked in areas of each keep.
I don’t think this is possible in the Alpine Borderland keeps as they are small and the “Marked” area goes as far as outside outer walls for all 3 keeps.
Should be possible in the super large Fire and Air keeps in Desert Borderlands tho.
So yes, dire/trailblazers should be removed from the game. It really cant be stated enough. There are no excuses, no defense in favor of full condi and full bunker gearstats. Anet already removed dire in PvP because it pretty much ruined it. If Anet cant see that this should be removed in WvW as well they are fools.
The stats were removed from PvP because the PvP team can simply add/remove amulets at will without having to wait for balance team to do somenthing. What can WvW do when their balance is tied to PvE? Unless you are proposing that WvW start using the amulet system (which I’m pretty sure most people don’t want) there is nothing that can be done about it.
Past voting means nothing if it’s not remade after the effects were negative, so stop living in 10 months in past where people voted to keep the map. Everything that matters is the result, and it was no good.

And honestly, yall should be happy with the presence of DBL. Since now there is only 2 ABL instead of 3, it means more activity to your maps (that if people really don’t play DBL in favor of ABL) which should be a good thing, no? I really doubt there are 2 ABL and EBG queued all time in some matchup (bar reset) for the ammount of qqing we see about the mere presence of DBL when you are not forced to play it.
People come and go, game will decline regardless you like it or not, this is the reality. When game decline, merger naturally occur, that’s the cycle of game. Though anet could have delay the decline by doing more productive things. Also, claiming that T1 is empty, which timezone are you referring to or are you simply exaggerating things like all other T1 people always do?
T1 is only active over the weekend. After Monday its pretty empty for T1 all around.

At least you’re not in a server who took the short end of the stick pretty much every pairing (Darkhaven). What good it is for the pairing changes when your server will always be last on T4 regardless of the linked servers?
Some people just can’t let it go can they? Desert borderlands won the vote to stay and will stay… Shut the kitten up about it and play your other maps since you still have them. I really doubt you have all the other 3 maps queued 24/7 so you are always forced to play DBL against your will…
