People get kitteny when they lose miserably because the enemy have much more people and you can’t fight back accordingly. Happens everywhere. I’ve never seen HoD complain when they’re winning.

Well I was heading to the south camp alone, fought an 80 thief crossing the bridge, as I downed him, a second 80 thief appeared. Downed him as an uplevel ele appeared. Downed him, then cycled through them all to make sure they all died. A guardian friend arrived and we started to take the camp. Killed all the NPCs right as the two thieves got back, and killed them 2v2. Picked up the rifle, and the ele popped up again.

That wasn’t anyone on my group then… We had 3 upleveled thieves, 1 upleveled necro, 1 upleveled ranger and my 80 engineer with a flamethrower.

“Win” is relative I guess. I’m not even exactly sure how I define “win” these days. For what it’s worth, ET is currently gaining points while Kaineng and HoD are losing.

Win right now is being on JQ… But if it means go on Zerg Wars, I’d rather play Starcraft II.

Anyway, speaking of Knockback, The Elementalist, the Warrior and the Guardian from [OBEY] problably learned a thing or two about having stability when fighting a engineer on the edge of a cliff… I’ve sent the three out of their newly captured again overlook down right to the front of my allies that were outside. Too bad my fun didn’t lasted long…

Also if it was on Kaineng Border a while ago its more likely that it was me than the thieves that were with me (since they were all upleveled). We crossed GT near the Northwestern Tower, at Redlake and at the Southern Supply Camp.

You do realize that the inner gate has a slit on top that you can see through. And the arrow cart is very clearly in front of the gate.

Not all gates have a hole… If this one have it, then he’s really aiming from it since the middle of the circle is on the wall behind the gate (problably the only thing you can target from there… Otherwise it’s fishy.

I’ll take a look when we have this keep back…

We just capped our Keep on EB… 5 minutes later we had orange swords on the empty keep… Kaineng don’t roll zergs? You used 25 people for an empty paper keep man!

I’ve ran a few hours around the Kaineng BL today… Camp run… Think I’ve finished around 5 laps… Run unto some Kaineng and some HoD along the way. Won some, lost some… But its been fun all the same.

HSSS is starting to get stronger now that some of my friends came back from other games. You guys will problably start to see our tag more often…

I’ve been picking fight with stragglers all over the 4 maps, and I can say that Kaineng remind me of SF… All they know to do is zerg you, because all Kaineng straglers I took on, died miserably to my Engineer (which i’m still improving), or came rolling with a large group on me.

Yes, I know WvW ain’t place for 1v1, but I wanted to put my findings here…

If anyone is interested in a fight, you can whisp me in game and I’ll get to ya if i’m not busy. (Even PAXA… At this point, idc about WvW for the rest of the week. Just want to fight for fun.)

Kaineng is no fun… I was having a good time at Redvale on HoD BL, while HoD kept throwing rocks, fireballs, mortar shells, cows, necro chicks, etc etc… Until Kain steamrolled my supply camp with at least 8 people…

It’s not funny being the lone defender of your side of EB against a horde of NSP folks. Since both HoD and ET know they can’t win against NSP, this is a fight for 2nd (and aparently HoD is out, thanks to the Queen’s Jubilee).

I’m sure many NSP on EB laughed on my “leet skills” while using my engineer (with her new Aetherblade Clothes)… Couldn’t even kill a warrior with a rifle (Shame on me), but I’ll get better on that (I hope).

I’m sure the people on EB before the shutdown weren’t expecting ET to react (even more with NSP tucked inside our hills keep) since we were reduced to zero in there. Too bad… I lost the count of how many times I had to do that kind of reaction during ol’ SF times…

And yes, we were outmanned all the time, so there wasn’t “a zerg” that recovered our stuff and just went away. Alas, NSP had much more people at WildCreek than us on whole EB.

On a side note: I tried to post this BEFORE the shutdown, but the forums went down aswell… My screenshot got outdated with the current score… Anyway, that’s me for NSP (since that’s the first time we’re meeting).

If arena net is going to keep this randomized matchup system, they need to consolidate HoD + FC + ET into one server.

This new randomized system is great for high/mid tiers, but it kittens low tiers.

It is Bullkitten to any server that get a server from 2 tiers above it… All matchups will be decided when you discover who your enemies are… You can check what’s happening on this week.

T1- It’s the same, so nothing new here…
T2 – Rank #10 SoS have no chance against TC and FA… And TC been winning over FA already, so it’s somewhat decided already.
T3 – Rank #5 DB, got rank #7 Mag and rank #13 SBI… Total Ownage since DB is waaaaaaay larger than the other two.
T4 – Problably the only randomed Matchup that isn’t being a predicted blowout. However the ranks of the server are very close to each other (Kain and CD belong to the same tier).
T5 – EBay/BP/AR been happening for many weeks already… Nothing new here…
T6 – I’m sure that Rank #16 DH isn’t owning this one because of the GoM nightcappers… However it’s winning by a fair margin.
T7 and T8 – Rank #18 IoJ and Rank #19 SF, being pitied against a server from the tier above, and from the one above that… Both are pretty much decided already.

We all know WvW is about having population to do the coverage, so you will NEVER stand a chance against a server from 2 tiers above you, because they are two tiers above thanks to a larger coverage… I don’t know who had that stupid idea that “random” matchup would be cool, but that will ruin the game of many people around the lower tier servers (Mine is already ruined enough to get much worse).

• Mesmers that can put 12 stacks of confusion in groups of enemies.
• Elementalists that can run away 1200 range by using 1 skill and have super large AoE.
• Necromancers that can spread diseases (conditions if you like) to everyone in a zerg.
• Thieves that can perma stealth.
• Warriors that can do 30k+ damage in 2secs
• Guardians that don’t die.
• Engineers that can throw 1000 granades on you before you can even react.

Also, remove trebs… They can poison people in a large area from 10000 range!!!

Karma is actually the most useless currency on the entire game right now… You get much more karma than you actually need to spend.

You only get to use karma while you are leveling, so you can buy equipment, either from the WvW vendors, or from heart vendors (if you do PvE) but that isn’t really a significative amount… And when you hit 80, that you can buy exotics from the temples in Orr, which can be a little expensive when you hit 80 for the first time however, after i’ve fully equipped 5 level 80 toons with the temple gear and still have 1,1M karma it doesn’t look expensive anymore…

Anyway, it would be nice to have a “useful use” for karma.

I never got a badge of infraction for posting screenshots with names and chat… I don’t really care if I receive one either. In fact I find it out stupid that we can’t know who our enemies are unless we regonize their features+clothing+colours.

@Hematuria.4051: I’d build a treb anywhere, anytime, because trebs are the answer for everthing… However, it wasn’t me, as the player that posted is from HoD and I’m from ET.

SF would like to have a conversation with you about being stuck on the pit…

However it’s clear that FoW and Vabbi are much, much smaller than any other T8 server that go down there (Arborstone, Whiteside and Blacktide) and unlike what happened at NA T8 where SF was locked while the T7 server weren’t nowhere close as good/big as SF, I don’t really think there is much that could be done besides closing the 4 (Whiteside, Blacktide, Vabbi and Fissure of Woe) servers and merging they.

Shout out to HoD for rallying their forces last night. I saw quite a few HoD in WvW last night. I didn’t venture over to FC BL but I saw HoD had flipped quite a bit over there.

I was at FC BL trying to sneak into the bay keep while the entire map was getting “Mended”.

In all seriousness, I talked to a few randoms back during our matchup with HoD, as they had went MIA. The people I talked to over there said essentially they were boycotting the matchup (for lack of a better phrase), in order to fall out of the tier.

And what they intent to achieve by boycotting T8? They aren’t dropping anywhere…

Besides I don’t know why the green team is crying about being double teamed, the rating system is designed around the gap of points between your server (blue or red) and green. Thus, the best way to win rating is by denying green of points while gaining it as your own. Blue and Red fighting each other is merely help the green team to stay green…

To HoD: I don’t care which server it is… I fought Sorrow’s Furnace because it was green. I fought Gate of Madness because it was green. I’m fighting Henge of Denravi because it’s green. And next week I’ll fight Ferguson’s Crossing because it will be green. Cry as much as you like, I will never prior red or blue over green.

Because HoD is the kid wearing the green shirt… Thus the one that worth more points… Also, many people bailed ET for HoD… There is a lot of personal stuff involved because of that.

The people that keep posting this kind of thread are the people that get angry if they die when following a commander… If you are afraid of death mate, stay inside the cidatel along with the legendary defenders… The changes the commander system need aren’t on it’s aquisition, but it’s limited crapy functions.

Unfortunately, the myth continues… JQ isn’t as stacked when it comes to WvW. At least it isn’t anymore. Some guilds left, some retired due to WvW’s failed state, some just decided to go PVE, etc. PVE area and population is superstacked that’s for sure. Hardly even a queue during reset. 5-15 minutes waits? During weekends and weekdays, you can probably use one of them BL’s or heck even EB to map to Lion’s Arch for free.

It’s not a myth mate… JQ is (or at least was) superstacked… Or you will tell me that magically JQ dethroned SoS that won many weeks straight without receiving more people? Also BG superstacked in order to face JQ overwhelming numbers…

Now if JQ started to implode in WvW, that’s ANOTHER completely different story…
