The stealth nerf did nothing of any consequence, the culling fix was beside the point and in no way related to 1v1 or even small scale fights so the impact on thieves was minimal. I think the reason you see fewer thieves is because they’re either buried in the zerg or they rerolled because there is less opportunity to get the small fights/1v1s now that everyone is surfing the zergs for wxp.

People that care about 1v1 aren’t worried about wxp because it bring no benefit to it at all… Your logic is flawed…

Nobles don’t fight… They tell other people to go die in their place… (And if you punch Jennah, you’ll problably get troubles with Logan)

Technically speaking ANY kind of exploit is bannable… Even the ones people use to skip parts of dungeons and so on (the ones most think are ‘harmless’).

But I still have to see people that are banned for exploiting in PvE… Its more common in PvP since it do affect other people game experience.

I dunno if we can call Nightcap a tactic… It’s more like a natural event that consist in PvDoor…

However I do admit that GoM having many small forces is way more effective than a zergball…

The only temple I’ve seen trouble with a lot of people is Grenth… So I don’t know what these people are afraid of…

For me it changed from 9pm to 7pm… No issue for me, i’m not at home for any of those…

TC was never evenly matched with SOR…. the week before SBI imploded…. the week before SOR received transfers from SBI, SOR beat TC by 60k points.

Covenn, never said that SOR never got transfers… he said we got transfers of like minded guilds. Not mercenary guilds that demand gold. When CD imploded just recently, several guilds came to ask gold from SOR in return for them transferring here and we refused them.

When did I said you guys paid for those guilds? Don’t put words on my phrases… And you said what I’ve stated, you did received the guilds from SBI.

Now about SoR being superior to TC, yeah, I agree you guys really did won over TC by 60k first week and 100k on the next. But the 300k lead on the last week you two fought clearly show that SoR wasn’t the same anymore…

GoM is dominant because they are plain out classing us at the macro level. Overall better tactics and strategy. Their night capping crew is not the sole source of their success this week, just one aspect. They are fully upgrading, sieging, and actively defending their structures both in EB and their home BL. They also have solid small man teams constantly harassing ET/FC BL’s, etc… Straight forward solid play and I respect them, minus those chumps from GOML.

Oh Cmon… They kept saying we were winning because of Agg alone, so let’s say they are winning just because of nightcap.

Oh cmon… Don’t come with that crap of “SoR gotten stronger without receiving any transfers”, you guys were much evenly matched against TC and suddenly when people left SBI to rot you guys become a powerhouse… I think it’s just too much to be a coincidence…

SoR is only at T1 because SBI imploded and the people that were afraid of a long downfall towards the bottom tiers jumped the ship to SoR.
BG is only at T1 because SoS BADwagon couldn’t stand JQ winning over them (even tho SoS won for many, many weeks) and jumped the ship to BG.
JQ always been on T1 but it became a powerhouse when the end of free transfers hit in and everyone jumped right into it.

If you really want to be part of any of those bandwagons, I’d choose JQ because it’s the only true T1 server up there… But if you want to make a difference you should choose a server in a lower tier.

Because green is usually the strongest team in the tier?
Because glicko take a while to realize the green team can actually be red on the next tier?
Because in some cases the tier above have way more population than the one below, and when a server drop it simply win because it have a better coverage?

GoM nightcapping crew is a issue that SF wouldn’t be able to handle… Remeber when ET had a night crew too (yeah, the ones that fled to HoD)? I guess it’s our turn to feel dat pain… /shrug

Well this is dumb, having more players be able to join the start of the match isn’t remotely as important as having more players join at the END of a match.

If this is true for NA servers as well, it basically means close matches will be won by daytimers while most players are still at work/school

At least for NA, I’m sure there isn’t any match that wasn’t already decided 2-3 days before the end of the week (except for the last match at T8). So having players at the end of it made little difference.

Sometimes I do it myself, and with the tag on… It’s not cool to say “Repair wall/door at tower/keep” and just take the zerg elsewhere…

It’s more like skill points than traits: Once spent, you have to work to get more if you want different stuff…

To [Agg]: You guys shouldn’t take serious a guy that simply come here to do unfounded accusations… Even more from FC, which I think that deserve the QQ crown that used to belong to SoR (at least in my opinion). Ever since FC became red, they really love to complain about everything… “Oh noes! ET is zerging like SF did!” “GoM nightcrew is a cheap move” “Oh man, Agg have a 200man zerg on our borderland” and so on…

To FC: Also If people are really moving out of FC, they are doing by free will… It’s not like you can control what players do… We had a lot of people going away to HoD during the free transfers and there was nothing we could do about it.

Seriously… Just keep cool and apreciate the new matchup… After so many fights against SF, can’t you have fun for once? Because EVERYONE know your server wasn’t even trying to fight against SF (you guys stated that in this very forum).

You know how it is I am sure Jek, everyone talks about the guild group that led the charge to the Keep…No one saying anything about the pugs that defended 2 towers and capped another all the while…..

Not sure how it is in T1-6 but in 7 & 8 you will be commanding pugs most of the time. There are a few exceptions, the WvW guild groups etc, but most of the time it is pugs getting things done, 5+ guilds working together etc.

IKR… Hold a tower for hours against endless hordes of Sorrow’s Furnace expecting an reinforcement that will never arrive, while your guild leader and a huge chunk of your guild is farming the JP (cough Mend cough)… And all you get is a yelling after you lose the tower…

You can sit on Meatober fest on Diessa Plateau… It’s hard to not see an event going there…

Problem I see the most is the 100g false sense of authority and ego boost. IMHO good commanders are defined by their guild group that accompany them. You ever see a commander with [blank] and not many [blank] around him in coordination then you’re best off looking for one that does. WvW requires teamwork, a commander as a individual means nothing.

The “buy a commander tag” system is a flaw.
