Yes, yes we do put up a good fight against Jade Quarry and can definitely handle Sanctum of Rall.
The guilds on Blackgate are fairly well established and the only time you can gnab our WvWvW oriented players is when one of those larger guilds splinters because of drama. So, we’re looking for a lower tiered server to maybe inspire participation in the player base as well as find people who aren’t already in a massive WvWvW guild with little to no desire to leave.
So, we’re not looking for a server with people who are absolutely against WvWvW either. We’re looking for a server where possibilities exist.

I almost got it right… I knew it was because of the big jerk “Hardcore WvW” guilds
I would assume, that for #3, ET/FC are the best bet atm. A single extre body on the field can help the Outmanned greatly against the Sorrw’s Furnace horde.
However, due the lack of people, I belive that it go against #2, since you won’t have much people to bolster your ranks as mostly are already set in a guild.
As for #1, i’m sure any of the servers work… Principally at T7 where the matchup is closest.
This is a multi-part question really. I belong to a relatively small guild trying to get its start. We currently reside on Blackgate, but want to move down to a lower tiered-server where we can
1) find people who are interested in focusing primarily on WvWvW
2) bolster our ranks
3) help the server improve itself as far as WvWvW standings go.

Because BG isn’t friendly to small guilds… Thus why I left BG 3 weeks ago.
In all honesty, after 4 months of labor it seems that the culling fix made performance worse for a majority of people playing WvW.
Even people with high end systems are having issues with Low/Low settings.
Why should people have to overclock their computers to run this part of the game at a decent level?
I’m playing with both Culling options on Highest and I’m not having issues… Unless you think that having 20 fps with all graphics on max, and no culling at all is bad.
And no, I don’t have a high-end computer… My video card is pretty much outdated (Nvdia GTX 460) and my processor is a AMD FX 8120 3.1GHz.
1) Fix the abyss that the past blowouts made, so the next server down here don’t stay forever even if it’s overdominating.

2) Give a incentive to ET and FC receive a population boon, that might make the Matchup more balanced.
Wouldn’t my solution be a third one? The solution is simple, any time a server wins 3 times in a row the same tier, he gets one week on the above tier to prove himself. If he does well, his score will be adjusted accordingly and he will have a chance of leaving. If he does not and his score does not beat the server he just knocked off, he’ll come back to his previous tier. This only makes sense by looking at how Glicko works.

When I posted this, SF had 120 rating points abyss between HoD (and was losing rating even while roflstomping the match)… No server would gain 120 rating in 1 match unless it’s a huge blowout. Thus SF would just drop back, and thanks to glicko weirdo formula, SF would suffer somenthing around 200 rating loss at the first week back, just for dropping back.
when we say “buffed” chest, post patch that means you get a rare in a daily popup chest in addition to whatever you get from the physical chest.
are people getting a daily rare from events like Branded Deouver Queen, Foulbear Chieftain, Dredge Commissar, Drakin Cinderspire and Rhendak the Crazed?

HoD definitely needs more people. Specially now that GoM has gotten transfers. I just spent 5 hours battling GoM and their numbers are huge. How the hell do they have such huge zergs in so many maps?
Well, [Mend] moved to HoD and aparently there are more people interested in leaving ET to the same way so you guys might get a few extra numbers.
I know I will get flak for this but this is something I posted on our server forums also, we need to enlighten our PvE groups to WvW, and show them what server pride means, I am sooo happy we were able to get PvE players to try WvW and them notice its so much fun that they do not want to leave. This is the reason [PVP] have so many online in WvW.
Ok, here is the flak you asked for: I’m sure it’s easier to make PvE players like WvW when you server uterly dominate the oposition…
On ET and FC, you won’t get this chance… You WILL face some huge SF force at some point and lose… Then you’ll head elsewhere and there is SF again. And when you look, all the map is green, and SF have people waving at you from Woodhaven. I don’t think a player would ever return under this circunstace unless he is a masochist.

If the listed servers in the news section are free for transfer. I think it will make current situation worse. We all know the color green is like a magnet.
I’ve tested the listed servers… The 1800 gem cost applies for any but ET/FC/HoD… However I heard people say that at certain times of the day, Sorrow’s Furnace show as High/Medium.

So much rage at ArenaNet right now. Instead of actually fixing the Glicko Ghetto, they instead give free transfers to our T8 enemies and the T7 server that we’ve been trying desperately to swap places with. So this is our “reward” for dominating for 2 months straight? Such bullkitten.
Bullkitten is the fact that everyone will chose HoD over ET/FC… T7 having the most balanced matches these weeks will most likely attract people there, while HoD grows and SF stay on Glicko Ghetto get longer…
HoD isn’t suposed to be open for free transfer… I’d rather open it for SF.
Set up a bunch of trebs and started wrecking havoc around with the fiery rocks (We even took AH outer wall). Had some nice fights today… Defending Stargrove against SF. Defending Greenwater against Fergs and then Greenwater again against SF. Also had a nice duel with everyone’s favorite Forum Troll… And my armor is broken…
