Any TC happen to notice a bomb eng at Redlake in Kain BL earlier? Had an RE tag?

I had more difficulty with TC tonight in the FA BL than FA for some reason. Interesting 3-way fight at the ctrl point between Bay and garrison earlier. It’s funny cause my poor eng got tossed of that little cliff by some hammer guardian and somehow lived through the whole thing. Guess TC heard we had cookies….

Dunno about Ghost since the npc bugged the third time I tried a while ago. We had a lvl 80 eng, ranger, 2 warrior, and lvl 59 ele for that run, and it worked for the spiders this time. Went well until the npc bugged actually.

Having never run AC exp till today, I was always told it was relatively easy. I’m not too experienced in the ways of dungeons, but, having run the story mode 3 times, I felt it was time to move on. So my lvl 80 eng, 2 lvl 80 thieves, a lvl 80 mes, and my brother’s lvl 42 warrior decided to try path 3. We never made past the Spider Queen. Me and the mesmer went for the statues and the Spider Queen spawned right on top of us. I was down in 5 sec. followed shortly thereafter by the rest of the party. Though we tried several times, either the Spider Queen or her hatchlings would drop us fast, though we dodged and such. Mention was made of reflect and condition removal but I couldn’t pop my elixirs fast enough. I’m now guessing dungeons are meant for only hardcore lvl 80 warriors/guardians with full exotics who have spent years doing this type of thing.
My brother used AC to lvl up his warrior and said it was easy. But then came the Feb. 26 update. For reference, the first time I was in a group for CoF path 1, we couldn’t dps the boss fast enough and had trouble with the switch room. The second time, me and 4 other 80s couldn’t get past the Slave Driver. I consider myself to be a casual gamer so maybe my skill isn’t enough but it is quite off-putting for me to run dungeons now.

I like how 10 Kaineng knocked on the door of Greenlake about an hour ago and about 30 FA answered. Will there be clown cars and a dolyak parade too? When WM came, I was that pesky eng throwing grenades up the stairs.

Whats with the spider queen? My eng was downed in about 5 sec due to that immobilize/big stack o poison thing she does. The hatchlings are even worse cause you can dodge em for only a short time before your stamina runs out and then you are dead. Starting to think all dungeons require a lvl 80 warrior/guardian with full exotics and a tank build just to make to the final boss. The slave driver in CoF is the same way.

FA and TC have a lover’s quarrel?

Fun fights with the FA horde in EB tonight (for the short time I was in there). Lotta running with RE/KO doing damage control. Seems FA was all over the place.

Just checked 4chan btw. We apparently have an unhappy TC who dislikes the RE zerg in the EB JP a while ago. Interesting what you can find on there.

Sunspots, that was just RE rehearsal. We do our best though no matter what we are doing, though the JP a bit ago was interesting to run with a TC mini zerg in there.

I can’t say I will miss LoTD though. Some tough hombres there….. And of course, HB is in a class of their own.

Papawan, we do have several good cmmdrs, and there’s usually one or two around between 3 PM EST and 1 AM EST. Other times, I don’t know cause I’m not on usually. Specific NA guilds with one or more cmmdrs are RE, CO, Meow, and KO.

Possibly…..you are missed here on Kaineng. I know why you went FC ( and they are possibly better for it), but now we are finding our zerg isn’t around 24/7. Which is why BG is moving up to T1. The other day, it took around 2 hrs for me to finally get in Hills in our BL because it was a one-man op for awhile (being counter-trebbed is not fun). BG is all over the place in WvW.

My point is made. TC, enjoy your (short) stay in T3.

I sincerely hope TC is ready for the multitudes of Lord Flame Ram. Kaineng saw it and fled to T2.

Having fought both FC and ET, I must say that transferring to either of those servers is a very good thing. They have community, talent, and most things you could want in a server. I shudder to see the day either of them ever leave T8.
Also, Detharos, keep plugging away. You are not forgotten. and if you see a certain asura thief of TFM, say hi for me.

To BG: That was a lonely vigil north of KBL Hills. Too bad I spent all that time on that treb only to have it countertrebbed within 5 min.

I miss TC already…sniff…. Good luck to you guys and may your yaks never be ambushed.

To the BG thief at KN Bay earlier: No, I did not want a duel but put up a fight anyway cause you went for me. I wish there was some way to refuse these sorts of things…
On a brighter note: Wonder if KoTN will respect RE after tonight. Quite a few wipes went on…

Yeah, having been at Durios earlier, I can tell you HB had that place full of superior arrow carts. It was a literal killing zone in the courtyard there. Only solution I can think of would have been to target Durios with about 4-5 trebs. Course then, we would have had an HB rush…very unpleasant….

I feel for you guys in FC. It may interest you to know that before the transfers, Kaineng was regarded as T5/6 material. I daresay FC is the same, since I’ve heard you have more numbers than when we were both being steamrolled by Devona. Having said that, I fear that unless Anet does something about this, this situation will continue. Quite a bad thing for there are several guilds in FC I still have respect for (WZ, TTA…). Same for ET. Know your struggle in T8 is not forgotten by at least this Kaineng member.

I would have to agree on WM being among the top guilds. Jang, regardless of your opinion of him, runs a tight ship. When WM rolls, they move almost as one. Some of our other guilds (RE, TBA, CO, etc.) are looking to WM for tactics and such. Regarding HB, their big skill seems to be ambushing other zergs, though they also take and hold points. It would be nice to see a WM vs HB fight.

Seems every time we go for Hills or Bay, it always turns into an epic 3-way fight. Especially when LoTD is involved. I guess they’ve had a lot of practice…

Having been run over by the HB truck more than once (in company of guildies), I would have to say they are very good at what they do. On Kaineng, the closest to HB we have are WM, RE, and possibly CO. HB has been known to portal bomb their zerg into an opponent (a tactic common in T1/2). When I see multiple HB tags, I run.

I, oddly enough, have gone over a week and no butter drops and only one chocolate. Carrots, on the other hand….

What’s with TC and BG at our Bay? LOL. Craziest thing I’ve ever seen; all the animations so confused me that I was running around in a circle just begging to be put down. Kudos to RE Cmmdr Smile Bruno for his epic defense (and tactical victory) and to PINK for their tactic of staying in back of the lord’s room (which I ran into). And to whoever was running that BG zerg….

Fun at Bay in the BG BL tonight. That was an interesting fight. Also, WM has competition; its called HB.

I guess our steamrolling days are done then. At last check, we were leading BG by less than a thousand points. And a TY to Jang, who is in EB in spirit at least.

Kudos to TC. Some good fights at Astral tonight. And when I got spiked while scouting (as usually happens) near Cliffside, I got a /bow. Now, that’s class. I think I spotted some PINK and at least one HOPE in the crowd earlier. Gave my ele a bad time, I’ll say.

I see that whatever happens, the tone of this thread has already been set. Now, waiting for the inevitable 4chan poster to show up (TC ref).

Possibly poor/nonexistent scouting then. And having been one of them…. Though, I do recall getting spiked by both Mag and DB in the north part of the map while scouting several times. Only once was it a fair fight; the rest were the usual dogpiles I tend to find. Not sure on how often north supply was lost, at least once and possibly twice in 3 hrs if I recall correctly.
With Mag, it was garrison and Arah, with Arah flipping several times. DB? I’m not sure. They held Fog and the NE tower quite well, I noticed. Though we were focused on garrison for some time.

Pinko, I was pointing out what I saw and experienced that night. That is all. But it’s well night impossible to cover a large enemy zerg and another enemy raiding group with only 60 ppl unless all 60 are very skilled in PvP tactics. We still had this queue bug Sunday as well.

Amidst all the finger pointing, I should like to point out that on reset night in the Kain BL, it wasn’t the fact that we were double-teamed that annoyed us. It was the fact that a bug in map queue kept our numbers much lower than those of the other two servers. That’s right. The mighty Kaineng zerg was reduced to 60-70 ppl max against at least twice that number. When DB took Fog and seiged it up while around the same time attacking the northeast tower with no less than 6 trebs, while Mag kept taking our supply camps in the north and west, we knew we were done for. It was my honor (?) to engage DB forces multiple times and by their highly skilled and tenacious fighting, I am now thinking DB is worse than Devona ever was.

I see what you meant in guild chat, Shadow. Guess there’s a little of the “old” Kaineng around…not that means anything these days.

Shout out to the Mag charr ranger at Vale awhile ago. I’m the RE eng that was there. Don’t see many of you stopping to chat with the likes of us Kaineng types. (Old Kaineng hand, btw)
