Personally, I think WM is doing what they should be doing. And if Jang gets intense, well, that’s called Asian concentration. On a related note on intensity, I saw some EA and LA on the KBL today, just watching for scouts like me. That is either dedication or being very pugnacious. I’m not very good against lvl 80s decked out in exotics, but, one LA warrior took me down in like 2 sec near Hills. Guess the lesson here is, poke your nose out and get it chopped off….

We were over 30k about an hr ago. Mag and DB in the 15-20k range.

True, but getting double teamed in your own BL for over 3 hrs due to a bug can be annoying. Many of us had fun though.

So this is T3…looks like our Kain train put on the brakes, judging from the score. Didn’t help our queue got bugged and only 60-70 of us was in our BL versus about 200 Mag and DB. Seems we’ve been outnumbered before…. Also, looks like WM had an easier time in EB, though holding SM like that is no easy task. Keep up the good work guys.

Tough resistance from both Yaks and CD in the Yak BL tonight. We had some of our ppl waiting in queue to get in. Good show at Bay and Vale.

Some good fights in CD and Yak BLs this afternoon. I’m thinking they have their primetime crew out….. Eh, at least we aren’t bored.

YB putting up a hard fight in their BL tonight. I got ran over by the CL truck more than once. Kaineng is likely to come out on top in this matchup, but we are having to work at it for sure. Props to all the Yaks out there.

Attic, it was that veil ability, cause my processor is only limited by the game engine. Beside, why would I be looking for trouble when I didn’t expect any? Jumping me and then saying it’s my fault for being there isn’t exactly fair you know. But then this is a Kaineng thread, and we all know what that means…

Well, Hexin, you have it mostly right. The asura though was some random dude from DR. I don’t know him personally. I guess the whole thing is what happens when you don’t have situational awareness.

To the GH ele at Titan: congrats, you got me good. I assumed you were running away and stopped to /bow, but you were just healing (I didn’t chase you either cause I assumed you had speed buff). No idea what your build is, but I’m assuming 30 earth cause I could not put a dent in you. I’m bad at 1v1 anyway, but you are def. better than me.

I support this thread. I have stated in chat (and elsewhere if I’m not mistaken) that all Ferguson needs is ppl to supplement the skilled old guard. Kudos to TTA (quite a few memorable fights), WZ (same), and all the rest of the WvW guilds that make FC a potent opponent. I daresay even the newer ones like TFM have great potential as well. Go to Ferguson Crossing; you won’t be sorry.

Now I see why a bunch of DR came out of nowhere and ran me over at the windmill. Guess they saw the RE tag and assumed I was involved. Thing is I literally did not see them until they were right on me. I assume that culling was involved there. I found all this interesting considering I was “visiting” (emotes) a DR asura ranger at the time this was going on. I guess I was in the wrong place at the wrong time?

Well, I think the old adage “perception equals reality” applies here. I guess try to keep WM supported on here. It’s about the only thing we can do.

I don’t know anything about timers but I got my rear handed to me after about a 5 min fight with risen near the SP east of Balth’s temple earlier. I finally cleared the area around the SP, got it, and headed for the WP nearby. Which is about the time a DE involving an enemy meant to be attacked by mortars coupled with about 3 mobs jumping me meant I went down fast. The respawn rate in Orr only had a marginal effect here. I’m sure a DPS warrior likely would have had a better time (I was pseudo bunker eng).

So are we, especially some of us number crunchers.

Just wondered, though personally when I see a WM tag, I mentally salute. Those guys are good at what they do. I’m glad to have them. I suppose we will find out how NEO does in the higher tiers soon enough….

Only a WvW player gets confused about his server citadel because he spends too much time on another server’s BL.
(True story, I saw one of our cmmdrs in our citadel, and asked him how he got in there cause I was confusing it with an opposing server citadel.)

It’s been my experience that only exploration in Orr can be soloed, yet I would say, for anything in Orr, get a group.

True, I noticed that DE’s in Wayfarer seem to be constant and consistent. One night, I did the Svanir Shaman in the south end twice in about an hour. A low lvl norn would thus have more lvling opportunities. As to the Maw, I am likely one of the few who have never done it. I have done the other three once apiece, the Shadow Behemoth before the Nov update when it became bugged on my server.

And so it goes…

It may be disruptive, but human nature almost requires we go where the action is at. The old hands on Kaineng are just enjoying the ride (at least I am). We may stop eventually but I daresay things still won’t settle down. And, I guess, we may not be liked in certain quarters, but I’ve heard Maguuma, the server that didn’t want to, is headed up for similar reasons.

I really didn’t think about lvling until I got my 1st character (eng) to 80. At that point total map completion was about 50%, though only Queensdale and Kessex were cleared. On my 2nd character (ele), i didn’t clear Queens until lvl 40ish. Guess it’s not that big a deal to me. But then, I like to find WPs, especially those in areas much higher than my character, cause you get more exp (lvl 20 vs lvl 40 for example). My WPs are 443/507 last I checked fyi. However, I can’t recommend finding WPs like that cause this dictates running past mobs that are higher lvl than you, especially Risen, ones with knockdown/stun/immobilize, and so on. I also do WvW quite a bit so…yeah. I’m more of a casual gamer than some cause I may only have 4 hrs a day to do things.

Yes, I’m aware of the merge, which is why I only mentioned RE. I was assuming that it was known by other people.

EB fought like tigers again tonight; good fight at Garrison and Cliffside. I noticed Kiridono was doing his “huge guild zerg” thing as well, with the able assistance of certain RE leaders who shall remain nameless. Also props to AoD as well; they were all over me when we went to DR BL.

Well, EB is putting up a terrific defense, I’ll say that for them. Spent over 2 hrs in EB BL right after reset fighting EB north of Bay. These guys do not give up.

Good fight with about 4 ( I think) AR and me north of Bay about a half hr ago. Should have kept moving, I think, but still… good work. I nearly managed to worm my way out of a dogpile that time. Poor dolyak….

Does this mean I’m going to get dogpiled by AoD? Seems like I’ve been there before…

Apparently you weren’t around in medieval times, Dhampyr. Master simply denotes the head of a group such as scholars, artisans, etc. But, yes, this thread has been derailed. Rather like a dogpile, it just happened.

I got run over by the AR truck at least 4 times tonight in the central part of their BL. Either it’s the usual lack of ability for me, or AR is getting their “zerg of defense” from somewhere….

I’m seeing shades of DR in that AR zerg that ran my sorry rear over 5 times tonight. Brings back the memories…

Epic fight at Bay in the AR BL tonight, kudos to SoS and Chaster for finally kicking AR out after something like 2 hrs.

An interesting time at fight club tonight, though I went off to do other things (dailies, etc…). Hope someone on Kaineng smacked that HoD thief around.

Fight club? Can I watch, Dhampyr? No throwing grenades from the sidelines, I promise.

I have a lot of respect for Ferguson and Eredon myself. I think if FC gets a bunch of transfers, they will shoot up like Kaineng and Devona

I’ve heard there’s a good bit of drama as Devona forces its way up too. If that is what we must endure to get to T6 and beyond, so be it.

I’ve ran with Chaster and his band before, and I’ll say now what I have told him. I’m very impressed with their performance. When Devona was running us into the ground on a daily basis it seemed, SoS could have left but they didn’t.
On a side note, the guild I belong to (MoT), has lost its founder. He transferred to another server (for legitimate reasons), but we will still try to help out in WvW as a guild whenever possible.

I have a nose for trouble, Dhampyr. As was made abundantly clear tonight. I’m starting to get paranoid and think that HoD has some sort of bounty out on me.

Dhampyr, I do run solo. That’s why I get taken down so much. Having engaged the GoM folks tonight, I now see their skill. That was what the “week is yet young” comment was about. However, I seems to have ruffled some feathers, and for that I am sorry. I mean no disrespect or demeaning behavior to either server we face.

That may be. You weren’t at Longview the other night. Took us around 2 hrs to take it, and I would think that this shows HoD’s skill at stalling. I mention HoD because I really haven’t fought GoM yet.

These things take time, Dhampyr. Be patient. Meanwhile, why don’t we have more good fights in the HoD BL.

Same here, Dhampyr. There are quite a few good players in both guilds. I have a tendency to feel safer when I’m with them , OR SoS (Kaineng old-timers). Honestly though, I doubt it matters what guild you are in; we are all Kaineng. Our winning depends on all of us in WvW not just a few guilds.
