You don’t care bleeding, burn, weakness and all the others because they aren’t the ones you have to be aware of. They won’t kill you and they won’t throw you from the platform. So, in the end it is just a change of some abilities and maybe weapon set and you can go on like before. Auto the anomaly to death = no skill at all.
But sometimes when you have nothing, fear or stun = dead. That’s why this boss was annoying since you can’t prevent fear and you just need to be lucky.

You also underlined it: “annoying” – nothing more. Has nothing to do with putting content to a higher level.
In fact, you can’t avoid death from party members if they don’t do anything for remove conditions at the right moment, and this is the annoying part because you can’t control bad players. Even if you can’t know what will be the condition, you can still remove it. And you have to remove it for stay alive.
RNG is only involved because of random conditions, but if your party is skilled, you know when to use your skills for remove them.

Well, no because anet decided upon 10.000 drinks NOT ME. And the only way to get those is trough gifts that they give out at a moderatly slow rate (compared to the 12.000 youll need for 10.000 drinks). Or, and this is the real reason they set it so high, buy them of the TP.

I decided that this year I would not do the wintersday festival, even though I have done every festival since release. Let me explain why.
1) They decided to go with the “pocket festival”, that was forgivable, when they first released HoT due to possible time constraints. Now they have had time enough to do more and it is quite underwhelming for a 3 year old festival that used to feel so much more festive.
2) “Have yourself a gindy little wintersday”’ is not what I signed up for. Festival skins should be a diversion that says “YES” I did do wintersday 2015, not “YES” I have no life!
3) The entire season, to me seems little more than another way to drain gold from the populous, be it through “voluntary donations”, or though buying drinks from the TP (if you indeed have a life).
Wintersday (in this game) should be the season for celebrating while giving to your fellow man, this year just seems way to much like the commercial garbage we face in real life; and I play a game to escape reality thank you.

You will need a gift from the last part collection (part IV). You will need a last fractal journal from Mai Trin Boss fractal scale. You also need a Gift of Fortune.
This is just what I know about the legendary part.
I nominate Molag.1352, she’s not lucky at all and really loves the game. I wanted to give her a gift but I can’t because I’m exactly like her and I’m not lucky either.
She is someone that I really appreciate in the game because she is so helpful. She taught me to be polite with others and do not get upset for nothing.

It’s fine as it is. Fractals just need fix about doing always the same level for daily.
I just checked with Production, and everything is on track to see the introduction of fractal changes later this month.
And in another post he already said that some changes wont be rolled out in the next patch, but instead throughout the following WEEK. Sadly, there is still the possibility that the fractal changes wont happen until the end of the month.

It matters that there’s an ad for the raid, an ad for the ESL and other pvp stuff – and at one point it was also showing my pvp rank up there. I have no interest in these things, yet I have no option to hide them.
Do you use any ad blockers when you browse the net? Or doesn’t it matter?
I don’t, and it doesn’t. Sounds like a whole lot of salty QQ. But maybe it’s only me who doesn’t actually notice them while I’m playing.
It’s annoying because during some events you can’t see anything since you have ESL/PvP/RAID thing that you can’t hide. So, yes, it can actually ruin gameplay experience during some event. (aka Tequatl/Triple Trouble event)
I wouldn’t tbh. With all the possible dailies, we already get like 5-10g in around 45 mins for almost no effort. I wouldn’t recommend adding more rewards to fractals, since the dungeon community is already kittened

I’ve seen a lot of players with 10k+ AP in fractals that are really, really, really bad. I don’t know why I can see party that wanted to do it with “only X+ AP players” since this have nothing to do with skilled players. It just made me laugh.
I just run into fractals and it’s almost the only thing I do when i’m in the game. I don’t know how I can earn so much AP since I don’t really do other content. That’s why AP is totally irrelevant.
You need 2 ball of dark energy through ascended item (amulet/necklace are only below 30% chance while weapon/armor ascended are 100%. Rings are 0%)
Then, craft the first step legendary backpiece and salvage it. You will get 5 ball of dark energy at 100% chance. Then repeat the process, you will need only 2 ball for an item and 2 for craft the second part.
Salvage the second part and you will get 9 ball of dark energy at 100% chance. And the final part is only 8 ball in total.
Just try your luck for 2 ball of dark energy. I know it can be really hard to get but thanks god it’s only two.
Since these kind of threads came up already before HoT i really wonder how many
people could already play druid before HoT, since else it is simply not possible to
heal without doin damage .. or playing AFK with healing spring on auto-attack and
doing nothing else.
The difference is Druid healing provides additionnal buff damage. That’s why druid is fine because you provides support to the party.
Lucky guy then. DRop rate should be 0,4%. I’ve done every quoti since HoT and got nothing than just infused/non-infused rings, even with the 51-100 chest.

50+ fract should be the only way to get ascended with higher rate but it’s not even the case.
Druid has better healing with additionnal buff. Don’t know why you think herald or tempest is better, because it’s not. It’s doable with tempest or herald though but preferable to stick with druid if you want to heal.
The first down was with a druid with full clerical, not even zealot. You shouldn’t have any problem then. Maybe you use wrong passive skills/branches.
I think it’s fine as it is. Raid is hard, hard content MUST HAVE better rewards. And people that down raids DESERVES these rewards. I don’t know why you complain, sorry but if you want to be a special snowflake, look forward to it, do a static and do the hard content.
If you don’t want to do hard content, then you can’t have these rewards, you don’t deserve it. This game isn’t FFXIV where raids are totally useless other than challenge. And thanks Anet for that.

Hope Gw2 will continue with hardcore content although I think it’s pretty simple for things called “hardcore”.
I don’t agree with the OP. But I don’t agree with the fact that some people think legendary don’t gives any advantages either.
Swap stat where and when you want is totally an advantage. I don’t think you run content with 12 ascended set in your bag and swap it when you think it’s better for this boss to use this set and not the one you wore at the beginning during the same content.

E-sport will kill guild wars 2’s soul. But you know, money money money.
They’re absolutely insane if they think this esports push will turn a profit. They have to put up the prize pool, pay ESL to run the tournament, pay Twitch to advertise it, and pay the code monkeys to design all the new systems they’ve decided to utilize. If they pull in less than half the viewers of a Dota pro’s stream, how do they expect the advertising to keep them from operating at a huge loss?

Definitely look better than the fractal backpiece. That said, it feels like the same person designed both and they just ran out of ideas. Neither piece is worthy of a legendary.
Matter of taste. The fractal one is MUCH MUCH better for me. The pvp wings is really weird and I think it don’t looks really good in the game. The fractal one is nice (they added an effect to it) and you can really see the fractal universe in it.
