Should I delete ranger or necro for rev?

Neither,, delete warrior…
Learn from the wise Rylock…
This not World of Warcraft. Traps arent as powerful here as in that game. Why take away their only advantage?
Looks like somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning
Add healing bonus to shield 4 and blind. Thats win win
Makes sense for it to be a Signet.
passive adds procs resistance or fury.
and active heals and blocks..
problem solved….
I am not trolling or anything, but i find it funny how you all bashed my paladin and cleric class suggestions on GuildWars2Guru.
But some(not all) of my ideas would have greatly improved this class all around.
karma you all… karma… karma
I can generate mediocre-to-useless effects 20% more often? Yay?
I still don’t know in what universe a heavy armor melee class gets forward firing cones to buff/heal allies (shield 4 and minty fresh breath heal). If my Allies are in front of me, I’m doing something WRONG.
Guardians are meant for back field defense. Warrior is the front line defender. Thats why guardian skills are more for midline. Shield 4 is meant for keeping front line alive. And shield 4 meant for keeping back field defended from range while pushing back melee to the frontline.
Yeah i would like better skills, but that deem to be the design they went with.
Look like it could be main hand dagger. But i need to see it on pc slow speed
Iam not seeing it. 1:53 he talking about guild..

OP you TCing?
I cant get video to even play. mind screen shotting? https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=85&v=kcpwXHqrQis
a link would have been nice.
Arent we getting a F2?
yall remember that?
Also notice we still havnt seen any info on that secondary burst skill we saw…
Warrior likely not complete for public show yet.
Is it just me, or does skill delay seem more prone on Warrior than other classes?
I am not sure what it is, but feels more sluggish and not as smooth for chaining skills.
Often I would press a skill and it not go off or gets overridden by a skill I pushed afterwards.
I know Hammer and Shield are both meant to be sluggish in nature but something feels off.
I am not lagging. I have not made any changes to the settings regarding skill queue. So I doubt those as the problem.
Utilities also seem to do this. Defiance Stance does this often. and Bull Rush and Stomp physicals this tend to happen to a bit too often now.
Can I have my 25 skill points or 5 Gold coin + 250 Pristine Toxic Spore Samples back please?
Not a demand or anything. It would just be nice.
its being removed?
Raids are coming people. your guild will be able to Raid for better gear.
Whats the f5 skill for Engineer racials?
How are banners nerfed? I keep hearing that.
RIP Banners
“We always hated you from the start!”
what happen?
Starting PvE heal has been changed to Mending
what this means?
post all the changes please. cant watch twitch video right now
Disappointed, can we get another designer?
Such disappointment, i was looking for new mechanics in order to change the flow of the game play. But instead, they removed skillful mechanics.
keeping warrior even simpler and boring to play, why is that. what’s happening.
timing your condition convert with micro condi management with shout to get good boon was a pretty big part between a good warrior and a bad warrior.now everybody just spam w/e condition cleanse you have and call it a day.
and more passives! that double leap finisher doesnt change your gameplay at all, just passive duration buff
good job, hell, good job
am I missing something?
Link please…
yall do realize this was done to balance the new melee elite spec right?

has anyone ever thought that they planned to announce the release date at ea 3 as a total surprise that’s why there’s been no indication?

That concept art and many more were already shown at PAX. http://imgur.com/a/tzJzD#KvEPRBf

I place this third on the list.

So you saying, people in WvW should be happy with the change, because we only play 1 build anyway?
ok….

Dont make a MMO that uses a limited action bar, if you dont want us to have many options to customizing the small action bar…
Anet is following bad design logic inhouse.
can be balanced with a cast time to swap.

NPE disaster all over again.
Anet doesn’t test out these designs.. They are very badly designed.
Just would like to share some ideas for back models.
Some of the popular request is new colored white wings, and capes/cloaks.
I would like to suggest:
*Kite shield back model- hangs on back similar to wielding normal shield.
*Dragon Wings- similar to batman logo but hanging down more.
*Greatsword back model- mid fantasy glowing Greatsword that hangs on back.
*Polearm back model- something that looks like a basic-mid fantasy spear sheathed on the back.
*Greataxe back model- GreatAxe high fantasy model that sheathed on back.
*Ghost spirit – floating glowing spirit randomly spawns at your back with a dagger at your throat then disappears.
Add any ideas for back models if you have some neat ideas.
E3Drinking game:

Does soda count?
RAIDs are coming. ..get ready for the rage
Any discussion is pointless until we actually know how they’re being changed and what the numbers are.
“Stomp – above 50% does an increased knockback”
Tells us nothing. How much knockback? 10%? 100%?
“Rampage elite transformation is becoming both physicals.”
I predict this will be nerfed though. There’s just too many things wrong with it, even if you only include physical training. Double damage on Rampage is WAY too much. You’ll be doing lich form autos and one shotting people with rocks.
I fear a nerf to Rampage over this. Rampage need a buff here and there, mainly bug fix. But i hope the baseline Rampage isnt nerfed. I use that more than Arms builds.

skill challenges are currently the only charachter specific growth left in the game. I dont think its a coincidence that they want that to be the thing on which each proffessions growth is ultimately based on past a basic level.
You want to get good at a proffesion(figuratively, this is a simulation)? you have to play that proffesion.
at least for a few hours.there is boss rush mode in castlevania for a reason…. same with Ninja Gaiden….
I thought the point of all the changes that’s been happening till now (mastery points common to all, skill point scrolls, tomes of knowledge, ability to switch characters in a dungeon, common wallet for all etc etc) was to move towards a more unified system that’s independent of character. You -the player- progress, not the character you’re playing. So i don’t see any point in individual character progression. And if I want to get good at a profession, i’ll play it on my own. I don’t need a baby sitter to force me to run around communing with places of power to become a better player. I’ll do it like folks who run dungeons, and wvw and pvp do it.
This is a poorly thought out system that punishes folks for alting when all this time the game has been encouraging alting. And it sends to the players mixed signals. I mean, is this game a casual friendly approach things as you see fit experience or are we moving away into a more “focused” and “hardcore” experience now. Are we to expect separate wallets to become a thing in the future too? They really need to decide and let us know. Are we getting more choice or less in the future? Is this a thing now? (the questions are rhetorical for the one person who’s gonna interpret them as literal questions and answers, you’re welcome).
skill challenges are not hardcore content. Making doing skill challenges out to be some sort of anti casual mechanic is very disengenous.
and just the main reason that progression exists in games is by and large as an incentive to play the game.
the reason they dont start you at the last boss in castlevania is because playing through the first few levels is part of the game design.
Do you really think that it is a good idea that you get a max level, fully unlocked revenant without ever touching the class at all? Does that really make the game a better game? Do you think the game is better off if you can completely ignore 95% of the content?
Would the game as a whole be better off if you could just hit a button and start as a max level fully unlocked charachter?
Heres the truth as i see it, a good game has limits, it has design, and it has intention. I cant run with the ball in basketball. you may have to beat 10 people before you win a tournament, you have to run 26 miles to complete a marathon. There are rules to any game, and generally they exist to make the game better.
if you dont like a charachter/proffession enough to do fairly simple tasks on that charachter in order to unlock extra functionalities/abilities then you dont really like the game that much.
If getting up an walking to the park is not worth the enjoyment of being at the park then you didnt really want to go to the park.We already get full level full unlocked character in SPvP and sometimes you are forced to play against players far more skilled required than anything in the whole game. So i no longer back that argument. If SPvP players can figure out a class without leveling it, anybody can. I will instantly level my revenant and doesnt seem difficult compared to what we currently have in Ele and kit engineer. …
let me put it another way.
would the megaman series have been better games if you could start the game with every bosses powers auto unlocked?(in case you havent played megaman the premise of the game is that you get to use the bosses powers after you beat them)
Mac is still in Beta. It’s obviously a Windows Surface.
True, currently it’s a Windows Meta, but I feel like the Apple version of Ventari’s Tablet could be pretty great once it clears the beta testing phase
Its windows tablet? Really?
Kitten!!! Nerfed right out the box… kitten come on Anet…

Grandfather=465 hero points with all skills unlocked if you had all your skills. The rest of the hero challenges can be done until reach max number of hero challenge points allowed.
max hero challenges – 465 = total number of hero challenges a grandfathered character can do before rest of hero challenges lock up.
there is no max number of hero challenge points.
its there is only so many sources in the game that give hero points. Thats a very important difference.
also there are not more than 465 hero challenges. you get 400 hero points from leveling your charachter to 80.
Somebody in another post said their are 220 hero challenges in the game. So 400(from levels)
Would be
400+220== 620 total hero points.
465 hero points to unlock all skills and traits.
So that would be
620-465== 155 Hero challenges left to do for max hero points.
Grandfathering this way can simply be done by granting 465 hero points to each character with all skills and traits.
Allow them to do 155 of the 220 hero challenges, and the last 65 hero challenges would be locked.
Simple solution to such a flawed design…

Best solution is simply to grandfather our skills over and lock us from gaining more than the max Hero points allowed in the game. Problem solved.
There are some problems when you think about this.
Changes are looking like healing turret combo will be even more powerful (all depends on internal CD of invention traits), and this all is burst healing (delivered in very short time span). The problem with first aid kit is that we don’t know if #1 will do any dmg. If not, then it will be glorious healing gun (“I curse you TF2 for this terrible design”) with likely terrible scaling (as most healing skills so they won’t provide invulnerability), and we will end with equipment that deal no dmg, and requires constant using it to make meaningful healing (something like water bolt/elixir infused bomb but without dmg factor)
We also don’t know if it will affect self. Cone skills that affect allies (fumigate, guardian cleansing torch breath thingy) don’t affect caster. It can be part of skill balancing factor – it will provide better healing to teammates, but on yourself you will need use that very slow self bandaging.Still. Engi trait tree remake was in very early stages, and it is hard to tell how changes will finally affect “healing skills”.
The thing is, med kit is meant to excel at healing others. The toolbelt skill heals self. Thats how its always been. And with healing becoming a major role in HoT, this will provide engineers with a reasonable tool support.
I am excited for this change. For once healing kit will feel useful.
That’s why we have traits for ground target for med kit.
Never once have I known anyone who uses med kit to heal others. Hell, 90% of players can’t even be bothered to notice med kits actually sitting on the ground (though to be fair they can easily be obscured by everyday particle effects). Since the early days, you just run in a line and pick up your bandages, effectively giving you a 3s cast time on some healing.Healing “turret” has always been more effective at healing other people since it clears their condis, gives them regen, and provides a blastable water field that can easily get one or two blasts from the engineer themselves.
That’s why med kits have a trait to make ground target. Did you know that?
No, of course I didn’t know that. Why would I know anything about one of the most useless traits the engineer has? It’s not like I’ve tried it out or anything and experienced the sheer terribleness of it first hand, nor made any sort of dedicated support build.
Sarcasm aside, the packaged stimulants trait isn’t avoided because people have no interest in healing others, it’s avoided because it makes the med kit extremely inconvenient to use, especially if attempting to heal yourself with it. Each med kit has to be manually ground targeted, potentially slowing down your own healing.
It’s also not an effective method for healing others since you can’t really toss it onto people. The proper way to use it to heal other people is to dispense the bandages prior to combat, and have them run over it afterwards. Packaged stimulants is completely unnecessary to achieve this (although they do increase the potency of the bandages).
Not only that, but it actually removes the automatic immobilize cleanse on the antidote since you actually have to deploy the antidote somewhere with packaged stimulants. So in some situations it can actually screw you over pretty hard.
Compare that to healing “turret” which simply operates in an AoE, provides condition clearing, and can provide additional healing via blast finishers, and you’ve got yourself a med kit that is just not as good for healing other people.
I’m still partially hopeful the med kit changes will help bring it back into the fold somewhat, though I can’t be completely confident until something is done about healing “turret”.
Which is the whole point of the revamp to med kit to be better at healing others.

You people are insane.. You will unlock 400/465 by being 80 – you will have more than enough choices with zero work done except being 80 to make whatever build you want.
And “FOR WHAT?” … For a massive overhaul of traits with tons of buffs and new ways to play… Get a grip xD
We still lose progression. Thanks for continuing to ignore that….
Whats your thoughts on the new changes to physicals?
Excited?
they supposed to become more effective the more endurance you have.
Also note:
Mending heal skill and Rampage elite transformation is becoming both physicals.
How will this change in physical mechanics effect those skills as well?
