What exact relation does a Shortbow have with the common fantasy notion of a Runepriest?Also, why Shortbow immediately after Longbow? Are there not many other options that would fit the overall theme better?
Its the only Land 2hander for starters left. Rather save Spear for something else.
Also in many fantasies, the Priestess wield bows.

Weapon: Short bow
New Skill Type: Runes
Mechanics: F1- F3= Tomes, Wisdom.
Guardian Elite Spec becomes Runepriest
The wise knowledgeable Runepriest using their bow and tomes, brands enemies and allies alike with runes of great power, to damage enemies and heal allies.
Tomes require Wisdom, which is generated from heals and boon application.
Tomes replace the virtues, but each virtue still grants a passive effect similar to how virtues work.
Tome of Wrath replaces Virtue of Justice, and focus on ranged damage.
Tome of Light replaces Virtue of Resolves, and focus on healing output.
Tome of Honor replaces Virtue of Courage, and focus on a hybrid of defense and CC.
Rune skills have a two part activation chain. First activation place runes on target for an passive effect, and second activation triggers the Runes for powerful effects.

Honestly, Enchanted Daggers is our strongest heal not counting how situational Infuse Light is. Just because it isn’t bursty doesn’t mean it’s not good, and it’s not only our strongest heal it’s also a DPS increase in the Shiro rotation, so there is really no reason to complain.

Sigh these build listed above have so many counters and competent players would know how to beat these builds instead of whining because they can’t be bothered to learn counters and play the kitten game.seriously do you see any good or top tier pvpers whining about the elite specs no because they know how to play the kitten game and adapt and counter for once though I doubt you have played many games so .Anet should not listen to these whiny threads about nerfing specs because they are bad at the game and actually listen to decent people.
This why it was a bad idea for the developers to remove ranked queue…. these type threads pop up. Because everybody mixed into a single queue.

Engineer Elite Spec becomes Golemancer.
Golemancer build golems for multiple roles and to do multiple different task. Golemancer channels Golem Energy both through their battery as well as their Staff rod.
Golemancer generates Golem Energy from toolbelt skill usage, as well as damage taken.
Golems require Golem Energy to be made.
Golem skills come in multiple types. Some Golem skills spawn Golem companions that do different roles. Some Golems are mobile suits that allies can jump into. Some Golem skills create multiple golem bots at once.

Mechanics: F1-F5 skills are changed into what are called “Verses”. Traits that normally work with Shatters also trigger on Verses.
Mesmer Elite Spec becomes Bards.
Bards take their short bow into the field of war to inspire and heal their allies with their soothing voice whiling channeling their music.
Bard is a new Healer/Boon support Elite Spec. Bards sing loud Verses that shatters their illusions into wonderful sounds that apply boons and heals allies.
Codas are ranged channel skills that deal damage from afar to enemies. Codas apply Boons to allies within the Coda’s sound wave, and heals allies near the target’s location, making for great sustain healing verse the burst healing of a Druid.

Do you really think they would make a spec like this for warrior before they made it for rangers? Also, warriors have literally nothing to do with beasts, not 1 skill.

Mechanics: F5= Avatar Form
Elementalist Elite Spec becomes Shaman.
Shaman wield the powers and fury of the elements through their Hammer and slams it into the face of their enemies.
Totems similar to Glyphs, will change effect based on the Element the Shaman is attuned to. Totems have their own Health Poor separate from the Shaman and will hover in the place that they were summoned to until consumed.
Avatar Form (F5) changes the form of the Shaman for temporary time period. Graphically Avatar Form changes you into a creature based on your race, but function the same across all races. Example: Charr Avatar form is an Effigy, and Asura Avatar form looks like a Golem, Sylvari avatar form looks like a Oakheart. But they are just visual effects to fit their fantasy. The Avatar color changes based on what Attunement they were transformed during its use.
Avatar Form locks you into a unique set of skills from 1-7 skill 6 and 7 being unique to the attunement the Shaman was in when they transformed.
Hammer is a melee/defensive oriented weapon with some ranged options depending on the Attunement you use.

Dragonhunters need to be hit by the nerd bat. I’ve seen people playing dragonhunter even admit that they are crazy broken right now if you know how to play it well.
Nah dont nerf them. Just buff their counter class. No need for all these nerfs. Just buff the counter.

Druid should be alk about healing, preventing group from being hit and CC. Buff those three areas, and I would be cool with Druid.

I really would like something better for Hammer 4. It feels bad in close combat like in SPvP point fights. Need to have a secondary effect and the activation need to be instant. It sucks at the moment unless all you do is auto attack and fighting outside of points for some reason.
would be cool if it did something to enemies that pass through it.

Feral Seers can attune into their pet’s ancestral energy, and merge with their Pet, changing their Weapon Skills, and replacing their HP bar with a temporary Animistic Energy bar that is consumed when you take damage. Animistic Energy is generated from dealing damage.
Each pet Family provides unique Beast Form skills, with the unique pet also having its special ability. Each Pet Family provides a unique passive stat argumentation while in Beast Form.
Primal Skills can be used in Beast Form and Generate Animistic Energy.
Elite Spec Name: Hunter
Weapon: Great Axe
New Skill Type: Butcher
Mechanics: F2= Beast Skill, F3 Mount Beast
Warrior Elite Spec becomes Hunters.
Hunters wield mighty Great Axes as they cut through forests to hunt down those who try to escape their final prison.
Hunters can pick between 3 type of Beast companions from Grand Master traits. Each with a different role that they excel at.
Mounting your Beast replaces your current Health Bar with the Beast HP. While Mounting the Beast, your 6-0 skills are replaced with unique Beast Mount skills. Weapon skills can still be used.
Butcher skills use Adrenaline similar to burst skills while also triggering traits effected by Burst skills.

Anyway to make Tablet work in PvP?
Shield 4 is abit lackluster I agree (reminds me of Guardian’s old shield 4 which get buffed),but Shield 5 is VERY NICE.
The 4k AOE heal WITHOUT investment in healing is very good, and justify the rooting feature because the healing amount is just excessive.
However, I do agree shield 4 need a huge buff. Maybe add a cleansing 2 conditions on self and allies that it passes through?
Yeah for a moment there i thought shield got buffed. Lol
Crystalline Hibernation is a self heal, not an AoE heal like Envoy of Exuberance. And condi cleanse isn’t needed, otherwise it would just be a better but different version of renewing wave on staff.
If UA gets a nerf, the rest of the sword need a buff. Pretty much its the best and defining part of main hand sword. The rest of sword just doesnt add up unless traited.
This makes me cry thinking about it.
When DS Reset, do we stay in same map?
Has anyone ever wondered what it would be like to play the equivalent of dark souls in guild wars 2? Well, I have found something far, FAR harder than that! Playing Warrior in high tier PVP; is essentially the equivalent of beating Dark Souls in it’s hardest mode with a guitar hero guitar instead of a controller! I mean doesn’t everyone just LOVE the narcissistic pain of playing that game, it’s just sooooo nice that you can FINALLY experience that right here in guild wars 2 with warrior. To go hours each night with a win ratio being somewhere around 1 in every 5 just gives me that same high as being defeated over and over by Old Iron King (one of the hardest DS bosses). Just love the direction they went with warrior!
Try doing that with a broken razar mouse…..

I’d be happy if Revs got some of the auto-attack animations that Thieves did. They came up with more martial looking animations after thieves complained but didn’t give any of them to Revs.

I need advice on how to do this in an efficient manor.
I am having an issue with trying to find events to level from. Most DS maps people dont do anything. Cant level outside of HoT, and its hard to find groups of people to do the non-DS zone events with. 9 times out of ten, those maps never have a commander for some reason.
So I tried to do Adventures, but they offer so little exp. I am not sure if you get exp for repeating either.
Not sure what to do.

So what is our staff lacking compared to daredevils? Because i guess we all could agree on daredevils staff is more superior atm.
Do you think staff would recieve some love soon? I don’t know if it’s just me or not, but staff #2 on rev is like playing on a gambling machine, i got no kitten control over it.

*Celestial Being- in addition to current effects allow you to see HP bars.
*Staff generates celestial energy faster rate now from damage along side current generation from healing.
*Cosmic Ray- Radius is increased and healing is increased. Cast delay remains.
*Natural Convergence – along side current effect, cast a large Unique HoT boon called Convergence on allies at the end of a full channel. Convergence Heals a large amount over time, and grants 7% damage reduction.

*Lingering Light- along side current effects, now Spawns a light wisp companion that heals nearby allies every 2.5 seconds for 10 seconds when Lingering Light blinds a foe.

you are experiencing what most of us call “Skill Delay”.
Some reason, certain classes experience this more than others, (Warrior, Necro, Ranger)
We know that Revenants channel the memories and energies of Legends of the past within the mist.
But what would happen if the Revenant invokes the legend of another legendary Revenant.
What sort of skills would that Revenant have?
I want Mechanical Gold Wings like Odin in Marvel has.

because Dragon Stance is getting kind of boring 9 times out of 10, due to how hard it is to get into a wining map. I rather farm Mastery on a HoT map with quicker event cycle and better verity.
